I uploaded over a dozen excellent, brand new videos today. But now, it seems like I have been blocked from uploading or downloading anything at all. That is a kick in the balls considering I've uploaded about 17 TERABYTES.
Now, my uploads and downloads show 0 up and 0 down.. even though I am seeding 4435 videos on Utorrent.
Even more disturbing is that I got a message saying that a video I completed uploading at 6:01 PM on 2/28 was a duplicate.. and it gave me the link to the original post which was 6:43 PM on 2/28. Before I uploaded, I looked on the site.. including dead torrents.. in all categories.. and that video was not there - which explains why Utorrent shows that my upload was completed and seeding 42 minutes before the so-called "original" appeared. The last video I downloaded was at 9:48 PM, and the last video that was accepted was uploaded at 9:58 PM. I uploaded 4 more which STILL are not to be found anywhere on the site.. even AFTER I uploaded them, and they are NOT even in the "dead" sections. Something screwy is going on.

The issue that troubles me the most is that it looks like someone managed to download MY post.. upload it as their own.. and then got my post removed as being a duplicate! I've uploaded nearly 77TB.. and have a ratio of 4.544 - I don't need download points.. but it looks like someone else DOES!

@juniorcas you are not seeding when your torrent client is not on... (I prefer qbittorrent to the obsolete Utorrent)
Also, torrents don't always automatically seed. You should "force seed" or "force resume" them.

@blablarg18 When a torrent has been DMCA copyright removed, instead of being removed, it should remain in the database, but be marked "DMCA" and not be downloadable. In that way, people would not continue to re-upload the same files.
IN FACT.. I am sure that some unscrupulous trolls have existing torrents taken down by DMCA claims, just so THEY can go ahead and re-upload those files and get credit for them. I am almost certain that this has happened quite a bit, because over the years, I have had my torrents removed for supposed DMCA violations.. yet several other sizes and formats of the same file remained on the site! For instance.. someone would upload a 5GB rip of the DVD "Horse Hung Hippies Hitchhiking in Honduras" and I would upload an 800 mb version of the same movie in another format. My upload would be removed with a DMCA claim, yet the 5GB DVD rip remained on the site. Seems probably that the uploader of the 5GB version did not want my 900 mb version on the site competing for downloads. While on that topic, it's probably not a wise thing to be posting DVD rips as they are clones of the product and not re-encoded, lower quality versions. I would like to think that someone who really liked one of my small, low quality uploads.. would go out and purchase the DVD in pristine quality, with directors notes, bonus scenes, backstage footage, cumshot compilations, model profiles, etc. But instead.. the most valued members of this site.. the uploaders.. are all in cyber jail for 3 months for uploading things that nobody ever said they could not upload, and still have not said they can't upload. Ain't dat a bitch? I wonder how many of those precious uploaders will do their torrenting elsewhere rather than wait 3 months to have their shackles taken off,, and potentially be hit with another 3 month cyber jail sentence? If you must wipe out everything... copy all of your *.torrent *.mp4 *.avi *.jpg *.png *.wmv *.mkv files to another drive first. Basically, back up your torrent download directory, and the torrent files associated with them.
Then, when you redo your installation, copy all that directory of downloads and the associated torrents back to the original drive, re-open all of those *.torrent files, and make sure they are looking in the right place for the actual files.

Why are you wiping out your OS? If it is because of malware, install malwarebytes for free. That will clean things up.
