@pupkinvasya I can see your thinking, but I don't think so. I know the angle in the pic is bad, but I don't think he's got the tattoo, and the eyebrows don't look right. Also, (again it's a bad angle) it looks like he's missing the chin dimple.

RE: unregistered torrent and ratiosposted in Rules and Information
Just to chime in...
As @eobox91103 said, if you are fortunate enough to join a swarm before the torrent gets deleted and there are still others in the swarm then by all means keep the torrent running in your client. When the torrent gets deleted from the tracker it seems that anyone already in the swarm can continue to both upload and download. As such, as long as there is a full copy available, either from seeders or from enough leechers, it is still possible for the download to finish. I've managed to complete a few downloads in the past after they became unregistered. If you are lucky enough to have the full copy then please do keep it running as long as there are any leechers in the swarm. You won't get credited for the upload on the site, but you will save people from having wasted a lot of ratio on a download they might never have been able to finish.

RE: StashApp Free open-source porn organizerposted in Non-GT.ru Technical Stuff
@bigetownky Stash interprets each individual video file as a "scene." The "films" section is intended for organising individual scenes into the full film. For example, you might have all 5 scenes of a DVD as separate files, so what you can do is create a film entry and then add each scene to it. Doing it that way means you can easily search for a particular scene yet still have them grouped together as a single film. You can also add in the DVD covers, description, rating etc for the full DVD while keeping the scene covers and information.
As for getting all the data, it can be a lengthy process. Click on a scene, and then click on EDIT (below the title on the left.) You should then see a blue button with "Scrape with" on it. Click that and select "Stashdb.org" and it will check to see if there's a match in the online database. If there is one you'll get a new popup that shows all the data they have. Check through it all, because sometimes it'll pick up the wrong title or something. If you're happy with everything then just click APPLY. Don't forget to hit SAVE on the left of the screen afterwards. You can do all of this in batches too, but like I said it can be a little bit time consuming at first. It's not too bad as long as you remember to do it ever so often so you're not having to check hundreds of files.
Don't get discouraged if there's no info for the scene you're looking for. Obviously not everything is catalogued yet. There are lots of scrapers you can add, so you can get it to scrape a studio's website rather than the Stash-created one, which is great when you know the source of the video.
I don't pretend to know nearly as much as I'd like to know, but if you join their Discord there are a few really helpful people there. One of the Stash team even spent 3 hours debugging a script that wasn't working for me. (It still doesn't work, or I'm doing something else wrong, but he certainly tried.)

RE: Ratio seems impossible to keep upposted in Ratio
@bodyworship8 Honestly, if you really want to give yourself some breathing space the best way to do it is with a seedbox. I recommended it in another post a while back, and the chap managed to upload an insane amount. If you manage it well you can upload over a TB in a month, which isn't bad for what is essentially the price of a cup of coffee.
The original thread is here if you're up for reading through and learning about it.

@gabisev Yup! Found it, though on a different torrent site.

Many thanks for slapping my memory in the right direction.

RE: REQUESTS are bannedposted in Rules and Information
@tnar I'm all for keeping people informed, but even if they don't read the forums this has been on the general site rules page for quite some time now. You could probably autofill the first line of the comments boxes with this rule and it would still get broken. LOL

RE: Long time around, first postposted in Introductions
I think you can edit your posts if you're quick, but after a short period of time they become uneditable. (Is that a word?) In a way it's a good thing as it stops people going back and changing the context of a post after loads of replies respond to the initial version.

@ubdc said in For Plex Users - Awesome Metadata Matching Agent:
As far as scenes go, that's kind of a mess due to relying on blogs, but what can you do?
I only use Plex for mainstream films and TV. All my porn goes through Stash, which handles scenes quite well.

RE: Fan Sites torrents get deleted too fastposted in GayTorrent.ru Discussions
@ikpooo Yes, as long as you've already connected to the swarm you should be able to download. I had a svandylove collection come up as unregistered about 10 minutes after I started it, but there were about 20 people already in the swarm and I managed to download to 100%

RE: Do we get seed points by posting in this forum?posted in Rules and Information
Just thought I'd bump this as it's been well over a year now and the information on seed points still hasn't been updated. I know there are other things to do, but it doesn't take much to remove a single line from a bulleted list.

RE: Idea to greatly eliminate incomplete uploads / seeding problems - FEEDBACK PLEASE!posted in GayTorrent.ru Discussions
I'm not going to pretend to understand all of the details of how torrents actually work or the running of this site. However, there are a couple of things in your post that struck me.
Firstly, your idea sounds virtually the same as renting a seedbox, which can be done for significantly less than $1 per GB. I've been shopping around recently, and have seen deals for around £9 per month for a TB of storage and 10 Gb/s up/down speeds with no traffic limit. Granted, the speeds may vary, but it's still a good way of seeding properly and does wonders for your ratio.
Secondly, if this site was to actually offer (or require) you to rent server space off it then I suspect this might have detrimental effects. In general most torrent sites are only able to operate based on the fact that they don't host any copyrighted material. If they start renting out server space that you need to put your uploads into then even if hosted externally it might be argued that the site itself is, by proxy, hosting such material, which could open it up to enforceable legal action.
Hopefully more knowledgeable people will be able to weigh in on this.
