      @sutieday:

      @raphjd:

      Are you stupid enough to believe Hillary or Bernie would have done any different?

      So what is the problem with Trump doing it?  Your lord and saviour did it for the last 8 years and regardless who is President, it will always happen.

      So stop with the partisan bullshit.

      1. They probably would have done the same, doesn't make it any better.

      2. Saudi Arabia is a terrorist sponsoring state.

      3. "Your lord and saviour did it for the last 8 years and regardless who is President, it will always happen." Um, last time I checked Jesus Christ was not the president.

      4. Seeing everyone who does not agree with you as having the same views is being bigoted.

      "bigoted" lol

      At least you are partially being honest.

      Obama is the lord and saviour of liberal.

      It's funny how liberals weren't really that bothered when Obama was doing deals with Saudi, but lose their rags because Trump is.

      I wouldn't even put Obama at the level of "liberal".  I think he actually believed he was some muslim descendant of Mohammad.. given the name "Barack" which is the name of Mohammad's evil winged black horse.  He felt it was his destiny to bring the USA down and elevate muslims & terrorists.  Or am I being too harsh?    😕

    • RE: Justice Ginsburg Makes TRAGIC Announcement

      @mhorndisk:

      She just learned that she may have to recuse herself from the upcoming Trump Travel Ban case over her open bias against President Trump. Federal law requires “any justice …shall disqualify himself [or herself] in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned. He shall also disqualify himself … where he has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party.”

      http://www.usanewspolitics.com/2017/06/08/ruth-bader-ginsburg-makes-tragic-announcement/

      Very TRAGIC. For Liberals.

      She damn well better recuse herself.  However whether she does or not doesn't really matter.
      There are 9 justices.  4 conservative, 4 liberal, and 1 who is a toss up (Kennedy).
      If there is a tie, the liberals would win because the lower court's block of the ban would hold.

      If Ginsburg does vote it will be
      5L vs 4C  if Kennedy votes with the liberals
      4L vs 5C  if Kennedy votes with the conservatives

      If Ginsburg does NOT vote, it will be:
      4L vs 4C if Kennedy votes with the liberals
      3L vs 5C if Kennedy votes with the conservatives

      So, whether Ginsburg votes or not doesn't matter.  It's all up to Kennedy.

      Kennedy does tend to vote conservative though.

      Ginsburg is 84 years old.  Trump is going to shape the Supreme Court for the next 20 years.

      quoting Voltaire and then talking about freedom of religion  :cheers:

      Actually, as i said the quote is attributed to him, it was really invented by his biographer.
      It is still a damn good quote, and shows the difference between liberals and conservatives.
      Liberals accept people of any religion, ethnicity, race, sexuality, or any other characteristic as long as they can co-exist.

      Conservatives simply cannot co-exist with anyone different from them.

      Uh.. not quite.  Liberals accept anybody that will result in them picking up a sector of votes and getting donations.  Liberals are much like a group of little children.. who all want daddy (the successful wealthy people) to pay for everything and give them their ice cream and clean their diapers… and if they get a boo boo to make it all better.  If they DON'T get their way, the liberals WHINE and boo hoo hoo.  Just give them a balloon and they are happy again.  They are incapable and unwilling to deal with reality.  They have no consciences and instead follow the polls.  They love to flock together in densely populated inner cities.. because misery loves company.  They prefer to live like rats all huddled together.

      It would be acceptable if he commented on the things he posts, but he never does.

      Ironically, he loves reporting others for "spam".

      Hell, he loves reporting others for whatever he can imagine.

      I found video of DrWas in action.  He flies around in a big gas bag.. sucking up every scrap of fertile liberal crap.  Together with his moonbat named Figment.. he collects misinformation, lies, nightmares, fears, and exaggerations.. and mixes them with Oprah Winfrey's farts.  If the bag is not full of enough poison.. he spins his randomizer and adds his own concocted, nonsense and jibber-jabber.

      @Frederick:

      @Drwas:

      plummeting Monday morning, well below the margin of error compared to the rising level of support for impeachment. The results follow Trump's controversial decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris climate accord; the ongoing investigation into his campaign’s possible ties to the Kremlin is also a factor.

      The president's approval rating dipped from nearly 42 percent to just 36 percent over the weekend, according to a Gallup daily tracking poll published Monday. Trump's declining popularity is inching closer toward his all-time low of 35 percent as president in March, when Gallup had the president’s approval at just 35 percent. What's more, nearly 43 percent of American voters support the idea of beginning the official impeachment process for Trump, according to a Politico/Morning Consult poll published Wednesday.

      http://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-impeachment-support-odds-removal-approval-rating-white-house-620913

      I wasn't polled, but I too support Trump's removal from office. Unfortunately, Trump is not likely to be removed from office as he is the puppet master's useful idiot.

      You should be poled.

    • RE: GOP Rep. Gianforte due in court Monday for ‘body slamming’

      @aadam101:

      Gianforte is a great example of why early voting needs to be admonished.  Everybody should be voting with the exact same information.

      AMEN TO THAT!
      In Florida, supposedly 40% of people voted EARLY in the 2016 election!  That was a huge advantage for Ms. Clinton.

      It used to be that people needed a damn good reason to do early voting.. such as being overseas.  Now, anybody can do early voting without giving any reason at all.

      Not only is there early voting, but people doing early voting can CHANGE their votes!  Quite a few people that early voted for Hillary later changed their votes to anybody OTHER than Hillary.

      That brings up another issue.  In any state where no candidate gets at least 50% of the votes, they should do a second election with just the two top candidates.  That would eliminate handing the electoral votes for an entire state over to the wrong candidate just because of 3rd party interference such as from Jill Stein, etc.

      After today, and the fallout that will result from it.  The moonbats are in full panic mode and having a meltdown.  They will probably have a secret summit meeting with their gods Barbra Streisand and Jane Fonda to find a new direction.

      I'm not 100% sure about this…
      But I think that in parliamentary structured governments, one does not directly vote for a leader (such as when Trump won the US election over the evil, corrupt Hillary Clinton), but instead people vote for a party, and the leader of that party is the Prime Minister.

      In the UK election, Elizabeth May was expecting (like Hillary) to win by 20%.  Instead, it looks like May's party lost quite a few seats in parliament, but will still maintain the majority.. so the Conservatives will remain in power.

      HOWEVER.. because of the results.. I would expect that the Conservative Party replaces Elizabeth May with a different conservative.  Which is fine by me.. because Elizabeth May is too weak to be effective.  Meanwhile, the guy that gained a lot of seats in the UK is a major lunatic out of the mold of senile old Bernie Sanders.

      Totally agree.  Comey shouldn't be anywhere near the investigation.

      … and obviously an FBI Director who should not be part of an investigation is an FBI director that needs to be fired.  Comey flip-flopped more than a pancake.

      Although I did use the word "guilty" you incorrectly assumed that was related to a trial.  I must remember to chose words that can't possibly be twisted by biased moonbats.  Also.. you added the word "successful" to obstruction.  I didn't say that.   All I did was imply that no ACTION was taken - successful or unsuccessful.

      Firing Comey is not the obstruction, it was Trump asking Comey to drop the investigation of Flynn.  There can be a legitimate debate as whether that truly represented obstruction, but the fact that Comey continued his investigation does not absolve the president of possible obstruction.  I also will not dignify your comments on epithets with a reply.

      Trump had already fired Flynn.  Flynn lied to the Vice President and he had no choice other than to fire him.  Obama had appointed Flynn, and Flynn had already been fully vetted by Obama.. but apparently he wasn't vetted properly, because Flynn screwed up.
      Flynn was already fired, what else could possibly be accomplished by continuing to investigate Flynn?

      If you were being honest, which you are not, you would admit that all this horse shit about Flynn and Comey and travel bans are just a flurry of tempests in a teapot attacks meant to prevent Trump from getting anything done.  That is no secret.  People like Hillary, Pedosta, Schumer, Pelosi all pledged to do whatever it took to resist Donald Trump and never stop resisting aka obstructing him.  They have declared a political civil war with Trump.  Perhaps all those moonbats should be hung for Treason.  In other countries, they would be.

      @sutieday:

      @Frederick:

      @sutieday:

      The White House has sent condolences to Iran after at least 12 people were killed in terrorist bomb and gun attacks in Tehran, but then lectured that “states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote.”

      “We grieve and pray for the innocent victims of the terrorist attacks in Iran, and for the Iranian people, who are going through such challenging times,” the White House said in a statement in response to the Tuesday attacks. “We underscore that states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote.”

      Oh the irony! Trump's support of Saudi Wahhabism by his $100+ billion arms deal is what is fueling terrorism! Trump is in bed with zionist/puppet-masters. Iran is fighting ISIS!

      How will Trumpkins defend him?

      https://www.rt.com/usa/391291-trump-white-house-tehran-terrorist-attacks/

      Do you even read your own posts?
      Trump offered condolences to at least 12 victims of terror attacks in Tehran (is that a bad thing to do?)
      Trump said states (such as Iran) that sponsor terrorism fall victim to the terror they promote (Is that a wrong thing to say?)

      By the way, Iran is NOT fighting ISIS.  Iran is fighting the rebels who are trying to take over Syria.  There are at least 3 different powers in Syria.  The official Syrian government (allied with Iran), ISIS, and the rebels.  It is quite complex, and frankly, the people engaged in that war don't even understand what they are fighting for.
      You can barely figure out how to wipe your own ass, so I don't think you will be offering any erudite commentary on the subject.

      So, by your logic, America and countries that arm ISIS (Saudis) should be attacked by terrorists they support?

      The Trump WH seems to think so “states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote.”

      Congratulations on nearly posting something that makes sense for the first time EVER!
      Even though you are being biased, you mostly got it right.  Trump did say that "states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote".  Saudi Arabia doesn't directly sponsor terrorism, but they have been known to appease groups that threaten them rather than get into conflicts.  There are many billionaires in Saudi Arabia, and those individual families are routinely coerced and blackmailed into funding things such as terrorism.  And.. as Trump said.. such behaviors wind up coming back to haunt them.
      Again, you moonbats can't make up your minds.  If Trump doesn't fire Comey.. you bitch. If Trump does fire Comey, you bitch.  If Trump picks on Muslims, you bitch.  If Trump doesn't pick on Muslims, you bitch.  Just WHICH Muslims would you like President Trump to be nice to?  Those sweet, innocent, peace loving Iranians?  Those darling Syrians?  Or maybe you want Trump to kiss the asses of ISIS directly the way Obama did?

      I've gone over this twice before, so I will be brief this time.  Politico was once a very valuable unbiased tool, and it's creator won an Pulitzer prize.  It had an EXCELLENT reputation.  However, the man that created it stepped down, and was replaced by a severely biased moonbat.. so Politico no longer has any relevance.
      You would think that after the 2016 election, the moonbats would stop referencing these biased polls from fellow moonbats that have no relevance whatsoever.  They are just plain WRONG and MISLEADING.  I bet they do a lot of their polling by going into a Starbucks and polling some bitches with a pound of snot up their nose as the sip on their $8 latte with quinoa sprinkles and a muffin top.  Good grief!  :funny2:

      No wait, "substantial input"!

      There is an expression that goes "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear".  Likewise, when someone makes a 3 word comment, I sometimes can't come up with "substantial input".  In that one case, I was trying to impress upon ppussi that he should refrain from spamming the forum with his trivial retorts. Sutieday does very little more than click on Thumbs Down and occasionally adds a 3 word shot.

      This is the Politics & Debate thread; therefore, if someone posts a news article or quotes from a news article, why not frame an argument against what the article says or begin a debate about the facts or false assumptions of the article? In my opinion, the only "low quality shit posts" are the ones where childish insults are thrown or massive generalizations are made such as "[certain person] makes all [certain group of people] look bad." This isn't about being politically correct, it's about being civil adults. Someone on here kept saying I deemed everything I didn't agree with as irrational and that simply wasn't the case. I deemed specific arguments irrational only after making my argument why I believed they were irrational, not by simply stating they were irrational just because or only because I disagreed. Instead of forming their argument to counter mine, they just claimed I call everything I disagree with irrational, and then they proceed to flame other posts of mine with irrelevant points that are clearly meant to derail and deflect. If you do not know how to be civil then you should rethink participating in this thread, simple as that. How can we expect to debate when one side is being extremely childish?

      I  totally agree. :cheers:

      "Name calling" as you put it.. is essentially done on a mass scale by such institutions as the Quinnipiac University, which keeps churning out polls showing Trump and his policies being more and more unpopular.  For those who are not aware of it.. Quinnipiac University is known to be one of the most liberal Universities.  As we learned from the 2016 election.  Poll results are often completely WRONG.

      RoyalCrown's post is directed squarely at me.

      My reply was a retort to pppussi's  comment of "I totally agree".  If everybody that agreed or disagreed with a post pulled that stunt, the forum would be flooded with comments of simple "I agree" and "I don't Agree"  perhaps pppussi didn't notice the "thumbs up", "thumbs down" icons in the lower right.  Sutieday sure knows about them.  Sutieday clicks on "thumbs down" on people he doesn't like without even reading the comments, and then denies doing it.  I know how long it akes to read 3 paragraphs.. and I've seen Sutieday hit that "Thumbs down"  button within 2 seconds of a post popping up.
