You mean something is actually going to come of this?
From afar, this really does play like a TV drama. (cue popcorn)
Well, no.. I don't thing something will come of it.. however..
The heat has rapidly been building under Herr Mueller. There have been calls to have him removed as the grand inquisitor, and be investigated. In a desperate move to give himself a shred of relevance, he is pulling this stunt on Monday which will go nowhere.Meanwhile, there is an insane Vermont Senator Sherman who refuses to discuss or acknowledge anything OTHER than Trump committed "Obstruction of Justice" three times. I tried to find what Senator Sherman is referring to. How did Trump commit obstruction of justice?
My prediction was correct, but it was expected.
Here is the problem:
Manafort was Trump's campaign manager who resigned months before the election. Trump barely knew the man. And yet, the moonbats are going nuts about this man.
Compare that to Huma Abedin.. who not only worked as campaign manager for Hillary, but also was Hillary's Chief of Staff! Abedin was an aide to Hillary for OVER 20 YEARS and continued to be Hillary's chief of staff, etc. THROUGH the election. They were so buddy buddy that a lot of people think Hillary and Abedin have been munching each other's carpet! Abedin is knee deep in Hillary's email scandal, and had DUPLICATES of all that classified, sensitive, government correspondence stored on her husband's laptop! Worse yet, her husband is a serial convicted pervert who is currently in prison. How about investigating THAT? That situation is 100 times more relevant than Manafort.
By the way… the murder case I sometimes refer to involves a chief of staff. For those who don't know, a "chief of staff" is someone who is empowered to perform the actions and speak for the person they are chief of staff for. It's kind of like having a substitute teacher or guest host on Johnny Carson. Anyway, in that murder case, a government official charged an (innocent) man with a crime that he was convicted for, and that charge resulted in the falsely accused man being sentenced to life in prison with NO chance of parole! Now, here comes the crazy part. The father of the murder victim THANKED the DEFENSE attorney after the conviction. This is where it gets really crazy.. the best friend of the defense attorney was the chief of staff of that government official at the time of the murder!! That has got to be the biggest, most outrageous conflict of interest in the history of the planet!
OK, I get it now.
They are using it on SJW protesters.
Vehicles are not my forte.. but I think this "coal rolling" (which has nothing to do with coal) would be similar to having a car with a hole in the muffler or no muffler.
By the way… I know someone who has a 10 year old Toyota Prius. The car displays the MPG on its computer display. The car is a hybrid gasoline / electric car. It gets an average of 41 mpg! What amazes me is how can the batteries store enough electricity to power the car, and how can those batteries last for 10 years? Try getting a #$%@ laptop battery to ever power your laptop more than 30 mins.. and after a year.. about 5 minutes!
Hard to believe such a bitchin' song only hit #28 on the BillBoard charts in 1986, lol…
That song only hit #28? WTF? I checked.. and you are correct, but I also looked at what songs were #1 through #27. In 1986, there were more great songs in one year than in the past 17 years or more (since 2000).
On Facebook, I used to attach music video links to about 1/3 of my posts.
I'm sorry, but some girls use abortion as birth control.
The ladies do tend to use sex as a weapon of control.
Correct me if I am wrong.. but "Coal Rolling" has nothing to do with coal, but is a stunt that some people do with DIESEL engines.
I think it is done intentionally by some people to show off that they can blow a lot of smoke.
I'm guessing here.. but I think that gasoline that is not fully burned emits a blue smoke, water vapor is white smoke, and oil that is not fully burned is black smoke.
Contrast that with the fact that a woman can get a government subsidized, guilt-free abortion, of a perfectly healthy baby, up until the day of delivery! And THAT is perfectly legal! (Hillary Clinton supported that in debate #3 of the 2016 presidential election).
Someone is clearly nuts. Who?
I don't get your point. Are you saying third-trimester abortions should be illegal or that HC is nuts because she said she was okay with late-term abortions for the health of the mother?
https://www.snopes.com/boycott36-clinton-sanders-late-term-abortion/
If there is a problem with the health of the mother in the 3rd trimester.. have a c-section. My adopted / purchased sister was a 7 month baby. 6 month babies (second trimester) are viable.
It's also nuts that someone should be sentenced to 14 years in prison for aborting a 6 week fetus the size of a lima bean.
There are many cases every year in which a girl / woman will give birth someplace like a bathroom, bedroom, etc. and then toss the baby in a dumpster or somehow flush it down a toilet. In these cases, the mother is considered to be a monster and subjected to severe penalties.
In another case from a couple of years ago, a girl who was supposed to be on birth control got pregnant. The guy didn't wan't the baby. She got sick and the guy gave her a medication which caused an abortion of the lima bean sized 6 week old fetus. That guy was demonized and sentenced to 14 years in prison. There are many examples of this happening.
Who?

I predict that on Monday, Herr Mueller is going to arrest Manafort.
The reason is.. Herr Mueller is DESPERATE to throw some meat to the media to chew on.. because up until now, he's come up with nothing, and is now in trouble HIMSELF. Mueller is trying to shield himself from his past wrongdoings by throwing Manafort under the bus. That is a "hail mary" act of desperation.
Again, that is my PREDICTION.
(by the way.. Herr Mueller is not looking healthy these days.. he's lost a LOT of weight. He is 73 years old.
This is what the Wall Street Journal reported:
By Aruna Viswanatha and Del Quentin Wilber
Updated Oct. 28, 2017 11:45 a.m. ET
At least one person was charged Friday in connection with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s criminal investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, according to people familiar with the matter.
How does the Wall Street Journal know that?
I'm a "gun nut" and belong to a shooting club here in the UK. In the US I owned guns. I fully support the 2nd Amendment.
All that said, everyone knows (should know) that I'm pissed about the that the insanity loophole hasn't been fixed even after The Long Island Railroad shooting. Colin Ferguson was legally declared a nutter in New York state, but he was able to go to Virgina to get his guns.
During Clinton, we had some sensible gun control laws that got fucked up because they were too specific to certain guns, rather than the types of guns they were banning. As an example, they banned the TEC-9 and for extremely good reasons. The problem was, the maker stopped making the now banned TEC-9 and started making the TEC-10 which was perfectly legal, even though it was virtually identical. Instead of banning ALL guns that could easily be converted into SMGs, they only banned a few specific guns and not the type of gun.
No one has a legit reason to personally own an SMG (as well as many other types). I'm in favor of well-regulated gun clubs owning them, or as in the UK, you can personally own a gun, but it must be kept at a gun club.
Here's a few videos to wonder about…
Apparently, this 9 year old girl's parents felt it was necessary for their lil sweetie to have an uzi to play with.

Representative John Lewis does not consider Trump to be a legitimate president.. and boycotted Trump's inauguration.
Lewis just congratulated Hillary for her 70th birthday, and referred to her as being the true President. Here's an idea.. any congressman who doesn't recognize the elected president as being legitimate should automatically charge the president as being illegitimate - and impeached. They should be given a certain amount of time after filing their grievance to either drop it, or achieve the impeachment trial. If they don't drop their grievance after failing to get an impeachment trial, then that official should lose their seat in Congress. If there is an impeachment trial and the trial fails to remove the president from office, that official should again either drop their grievance or be removed from office.
Isn't that fair?
It would solve the problem.
In the end, aren't you glad you live in a country where you can stand up and say bullshit things? I do think there should be limitations but is this one of them?
Freedom of speech is for citizens.. not for elected officials.
For instance, citizen Jones is free to express his opinions about citizen Smith.. UNLESS citizen Jones is employed by citizen Smith.
Trump has incredibly energy, and doesn't seem to neglect anything. He might be taking some sort of meds to give him stamina. I'd like some of what he's taking!
Maybe but what about her observation that what's wrong with the world will continue to be wrong after Trump, so just spend that energy focused on the US?
Have you seen Apocalypse Now? By the end, we meet a man who'd been hiding in the jungle for twenty plus years and when finally caught shows him magazines from twenty, thirty, forty years before that. It's all the same news. Today, it's still the same news. Different names but mostly the same.
She is correct.. the USA is going downhill. Obama worked very hard to make that happen, but didn't finish the job. Trump's presidency will delay the failure of the USA. In fact, his changes might have an effect for decades to come - delaying the inevitable. Had crooked Hillary won that election, the USA would be in very deep doo doo NOW. She would be under impeachment for very solid, real reasons.
The problem is.. you can't enforce the laws without having civil rights lawsuits.
Then abolish civil rights by Executive Order. The military has the power to enforce it. I guess, then the people would rise up against the military with the (advanced) weaponry they have and…
Adding regulations makes people feel like they're doing something. It creates the illusion that they're making progress.
I don't think the USA military is authorized to operate domestically. The closest there is to that is the National Guard.
There are consequences to everything. The same civil rights that are supposed to protect people also protect the hoodlums who are committing the crimes.
I'm not sure what you meant by "abolish civil rights". Abolishing civil rights protections from convicted felons might work, however, since 35% of adult black males are convicted felons, people would complain that is racist and say "that's because they couldn't afford lawyers". Almost NOBODY can afford lawyers these days. Even millionaires such as OJ went bankrupt paying his lawyers.
The problem with Catalonia is that this seccessionist movement is un-constitutional by Spanish Law. The referendums are unconstitutional.
No region can separate unless the whole of Spain accepts it and Spain won't. From what I can collect from several blogs and news, Catalonians want to separate on the idea that Spain steals from Catalonia, they say that the high income generated in the region is taken out from it.
On the other hand some Spaniards explain that that's how the goverment works, the income from the provinces is pooled together and then assigned. Also, Catalonia is not rich because of itself, the Spanish goverment invested heavily into its infraestructure (sometimes in detriment of other regions), so to some Spaniards, the Catalonians want to hog all the riches while the rest of the country suffers from unemployment.
And Catalonians aren't pushed aside by the goverment, actually the goverment abides to their whims. there are signs both in castillian and catalonian, but in Catalonia they won't even translate their signs to spanish, there are Catalonian embassies along the Spanish ones, and those are paid by the country as a whole.
It's obvious that the Catalonian leaders just try to promote seccessionism in order to turn the region into their own private minicountry so they can get all the income themselves. Puidgemont even assured them the EU would welcome them with open arms (impossible since it requires unanimous agreement and Spain and France would never concede)
And no, I'm not from the continent but since I have family in Spain I'm interested in the issue.
The fake news media in the USA ignores any story which doesn't have a direct link to USA concerns. Therefore, a problem in Catalonia is completely ignored by the media in the USA.
Separately, I'm concerned about his recent moves to "play to the base," including the push for puritanical religious freedoms that are rolling back LGBT protections:
Now, when you mash these ideas together, and I see Trump feeding on the adulation from his core supporters for these recent "victories," I feel some unease that he will, on the topic of preemptive war with North Korea, think about pleasing the base one more time:
If anybody can explain what lesbians have to do with North Korea, let me know.
What Flozen is saying is that Trump's base, which includes the religious right a.k.a. people who are gunning for the gays, wants Trump to escalate the situation with North Korea as diplomacy has only enabled Kim. Flozen, I assume, is anti-war and would like to prevent the deaths of countless North/South Koreans. (There's no chance of N. Korea attacking the US, though they could have spies who could cause some mayhem.)
Meanwhile, over here in Tokyo, there's very little fuss over the Korea situation. Generally, people seem happy with the tougher stance as no one seems convinced that Kim will actually attack anyone. The news analysis seems to agree that people are happy with Abe's policies towards North Korea (siding with Trump) while all of my students want negotiations.
Me? I've had flashbacks to the early 80's and see the whole thing as bravado, not much different from when Regan and Gorbachev were in a war of words and justification for more military spending.
Flozen is against anything Trump does.
As for negotiating with North Korea… what is there to negotiate? They already have nukes, they already have ICBMS that can reach any city in the USA within 40 minutes of launch. Kim Jung Un has repeatedly said he will attack US cities, Guam, and sink Japan into the ocean. At what point do we stop North Korea? AFTER they kill millions of people and disrupt the economy of the world? Already, North Korea is victimizing millions of people... it's OWN citizens in North Korea, and South Korea. I'm glad that Japan is so confident that the USA will protect them, but consider this.. Kim Jung Un doesn't even need an ICBM to nuke Japan.. he can simply load a nuclear bomb on to a plane or one of his standard rockets and faster than you can say "Hiroshima" POOF! Kim has ALREADY sent 2 missiles flying over Japan in the last year.
Again.. negotiation... to negotiate what? NK has already said it will not negotiate with any country other than the USA.. and now they say they will not negotiate with the USA either. (there is nothing to negotiate).
Representative John Lewis does not consider Trump to be a legitimate president.. and boycotted Trump's inauguration.

What is the point of having MORE gun control laws, when the existing gun control laws are not enforced and are useless?
Consider this, anybody convicted of a felony cannot own a gun. 33% of adult males of a certain race have been convicted of a felony. Do you think that the crimes committed with guns are committed by people who own a gun legally?
Maybe Saudi Arabia has the right idea… if someone commits a crime using a gun, cut off their hands.
The problem is.. you can't enforce the laws without having civil rights lawsuits.
I think this sends the wrong message to North Korea. When the Dems try to undermine the potential for an offensive strike, they show North Korea that we're divided on the issue. This bill is only going to escalate the situation.
Thoughts?
North Korea is hopeless. It's a shame that their people have to suffer for their dictator.
It is incredible that Kim Jung Un (the illegitimate son of Kim Jung Il), Kim Jung Il, and Kim Long Dong all managed to avoid being assassinated.
Now Kim Jung Un's daughter - Poon Tang - is being promoted in NK's government. Here is a photo of Kim Jung Un when he was just Sum Yung Fuk. The older guy is Kim Jung Il.
