Older Gay Misses the Mark
An older gay man was requested by his doctor for a sperm count as part of his physical exam. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, "Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow."
The next day the man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day.
The doctor asked what happened and the man explained. "Well, doc, it's like this:
“First I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, and still no luck.
“I went and asked my partner for help. Like me, he tried with his right hand, and then with his left. He even tried it with both hands at once.
“He then tried his mouth – first with his teeth in, then with his teeth out, and still nothing.
“We even called up Ralph, the old gay guy next door, for help. Ralph had some new ideas… first he tried an armpit, and he even squeezed it between his knees, until we gave up."
The doctor was a bit shocked at these last details and said, "You asked your neighbor?".
The old man replied, "Yes, and none of us could get that jar open."

RE: Terence McNally has died
I'm glad to see your post, drawing well-deserved attention to this remarkable man, Dene.
Along with The Guardian, Terrence McNally's amazing career was covered in-depth, as one would expect, by the standard-bearers in theater media:
https://variety.com/2020/legit/news/terrence-mcnally-dead-dies-coronavirus-1203543694/
Whatever your "generation," you have probably enjoyed more of this man's prolific work than you realize.

RE: Hi from Florida
Well, hello and welcome from a guy who was born in – and still comes down to -- Fort Lauderdale.
What corner of Florida are you from? East or West coast, The Keys, Central, Panhandle?
Wherever you may be, enjoy the many items on display here -- and be sure to read the rules about RATIO, so you remain in good standing when you want to download further.
See ya!

Headlines from the News
It's not a traditional joke, but clearly, there was no gay editor in the loop before this gem made it to the headlines of the online CNN Business pages:

RE: Eight LGBT Movies Coming Later in 2020
I, too, will be watching the remake of The Boys in the Band with great interest on how they pull it off.
Last year, I had the pleasure of seeing Boys on Broadway with Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer and a very good supporting cast.
You might be asking, "Hey, what about Jim Parsons in the leading role? What did you think about him?".
Well, Mr. "Big Bang" Parsons was absent, having injured himself during a previous week's performance. And to give perspective, the set had obvious perils, with the characters running and chasing each other on a two-story set with dimly lit stairs, and a tricky, sunken 1970s "conersation pit" sofa.
But no, Jim was fine with all that. He hurt his leg at the very end of the show, in the "group take-a-bow" line, where he lost his balance and fell over.
The girl can act, but she can't curtsy! :crazy2:

RE: Gay adult film performer Sebastian Young shot dead following high-speed chase
The stars in the sky shine a little dimmer tonight, having lost a violent career criminal – a gay-for-pay who beat his wife, sexually exploited his daughter, injured an elderly person, threatened to kill a federal officer, and had a litany of other felonies and misdemeanors -- DUI, burglary -- really, you name it.
Worst of all, he was unfairly gunned down by police officers for the minor act of fleeing a car chase after wrecking his vehicle, and firing his own gun at them.
I will be collecting my tears and putting them in a little glass vial to wear around my neck, as a tribute to this pillar of society, gone far too soon. :crazy2:

RE: Is injecting one guy’ s urine into your bladder safe to play?
I wouldn't know if even Google would have articles on this quite unusual notion. But if you've "heard that injectin pure water could lead to some side effects on the bladder," doesn't it seem likely that injecting another person's body fluids would be infinitely riskier???
I'd find another fetish less likely to send you to the hospital ER with some serious urinary tract/bladder/intestinal issues.

RE: Re-Seed requests
Hey, K/Lee, I also find that join date and other discrepancies are popping up on certain posts. And then, add these repeated requests. We just have to make each known, and add them to the queue.
We can't allow members (whether new or familiar) to ask five times for the same item. Improper conduct.
It is time for the multi-poster to receive gentle advice or a mild spanking via moderation! :crazy2:
-
RE: Looking for…
He is certainly gorgeous, but I believe such search requests belong further down the page – there's a "Who Is This / What Is This" forum or thread.
But yes, certainly find all his, um, material, lol…!

viagra in a flower vase keeps flowers fresh for a week longer
The day that I sacrifice a Viagra for fresher flowers will mark the end of the world as we know it… :crazy2:

RE: Going back in the closet
Perhaps it's because I'm an editor, and word choice holds especially powerful significance to me…
...but I wish you could speak of this, and consider this, something different than "going back in the closet."
The "closet" is a very sad and painful concept for many, both historically and in the present day. Better for our "out" gay brothers -- some of whom who have suffered and paid a great price -- that you think of your situation as "being more discreet about your private life" or a similar term.
The closet is a dark and solitary place -- don't imagine yourself there, and let's close that ugly door for good. :hug2:

RE: The History of Lip-Syncing
Dida Ritz was amazing. That was my all time favorite performance on Drag Race till Sasha Velour and her rose petals. Brought the show to a whole new level.
Sasha's "third rose reveal" – as you noted, in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgAw66DZ54E – is, indeed, one of the most electrifying drag moments I've ever seen. The crowd collectively lost their minds.
I definitely have plans to buy or borrow the Legendary Children book mentioned in original post – here's a nice long excerpt:

RE: Hetro porn torrents ?
Here's a screen grab for you – look at bottoms of second and third columns for "Straight.".
Now, second screen grab, check your "category preferences" as found on the indicated link:
https://www.gaytorrent.ru/my.php
Did you mistakenly opt-out of Straight in the check-boxes?
-
RE: Hetro porn torrents ?
Good hetero heavens! GTRU is just bursting with straight porn, in categories like Straight Older, Straight Younger, Bisexual, and others.
I strongly recommend that you look through the Browse Torrents list.
https://www.gaytorrent.ru/browse.php
Click on one or more boxes, and receive a "specific" list of only the straight/bi choices on the site.
Oh, and post some dick pics as thanks for the enlightenment.

RE: The History of Lip-Syncing
Bump… to get ahead of people asking for free invites to other torrent sites on the wrong board. :fight:

RE: The History of Lip-Syncing
Thanks, JA, and don't miss the links throughout the article to some of Drag Race's most amazing "lip syncs for your life."
There's one with the late, great Natalie Cole as a guest judge, and she is so pleased by the over-the-top (yet perfectly on-point) performance of This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) that I got a little misty-eyed, to be sure.

Edit: Oh, here's the Natalie link for those of you too busy for reading right now...

The History of Lip-Syncing
If you've got the spare time, this is a well-researched article on lip-syncing, comparing straight and gay origins and uses, etc.
It's a very fun feature – and you will rule the next cocktail party chatter! :crazy2:
Plus, it's an excerpt from Legendary Children: The First Decade of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the Last Century of Queer Life.

RE: Updated category
As a career-long editor, one of the first things you learn about headline writing is that with words, "specific trumps general" for reader understanding. And the same principle applies to Sticky Topics, as well.
"Category Change" by itself is general, whereas employing "Trans" into the headline would have been very eye-catching and related comments would have gathered there.
I don't mention this to admonish, just to share. Still a great change, dare I say, a positive transformation?
