Double backed a bit there. But when I was starting out I guess I can see that appeal of pushing through. I think the thing I'm most worried about is if I'm doing too much damage now that it will be IMPOSSIBLE to do it later.

I think it's the implication that parents who are homophobic might see this as validation as a viable option to "fix" their children.

I eventually had to take specialist referred pills that reduced it by a lot SO LONG as I was taking them regularly. Other than that there's lots you can do to minimise acne.

1. Wash your face. Wash it often. When you start to feel really greasy and gross, just rinse your face with water or maybe with a little bit of hand soap. Cause the point is to keep your face clean so your pores won't get clogged/
2. NEVER EVER touch your face and for the love of god resist touching your breakouts or breakouts to be. You are only going to dirty your face with your filthy hands and/or push debris further into your pores which can exarcerbate your breakouts. This is also meant to stop you from scratching and damaging your pimples which leads me to my next point.
3. If you get it really bad like I did, you're going to get some scarring, skin breaking frequently isn't going to heal perfectly. But if you pop your pimples yourself, you're just going to make things even worse than you anticipate.
4. Change your pillow case frequently, all the grease and gunk is going to accumulate on your pillow and make you even more at risk so change it weekly.
