      I prefer at least a lightly trimmed bush- something that will not threaten to smother me when I'm down there. But that's just me.  :laugh:

    • RE: Straights in gay clubs?!

      @semurg30:

      I have a straight drinking buddy who admitted he went to a gay club a few times to "support a friend" whatever that means. I wish I found that endearing…honestly I felt creeped out a little for some reason I couldn't quite articulate.

      I didn't find it supportive...more like that feeling a black person probably gets when a white friend feels they've the right to use the N word.  Not the same thing at all but I don't want straight friends in the gay part of my world and I don't want to be the token gay friend that gets them off the hook every time they do something douchey. With strangers I don't care where they go. But I don't want straight friends trying to bond with me about how supportive they are. I can stomach a somewhat homophobic friend who's at least honest about their feelings and boundaries...I don't want a fake supposedly supportive friend...those are the worst.

      Going to a gay club for the first time, I wasn't feeling confident about it and I didn't have any close gay friends yet at the time- so my best friend who is straight, agreed to come along with me and be my date for the night. I appreciated the gesture, he didn't have to go with me but he did anyway just to make me feel better.

      @mhorndisk:

      If you think she's innocent and didn't commit treason you're fucking dumb. Why would millions call for her imprisonment if it were just a callous thing? She literally broke the law by having a private server full of classified information in her fucking bathroom.

      If the delete and bleaching were really illegal- the Republicans would have had her tossed in jail. How stupid ARE YOU? The fact is she was they had nothing so they couldn't really get her locked up. Simple, and easy to follow.

      Millions called for imprisonment because they swallowed the propaganda. Learn the basic difference between believing something and it actually being a fact.

      You can have BILLIONS believe she's guilty- but if there are NO FACTS to prove it- then there will not be any prosecution. And she is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law- or does even that most basic tenet elude you?  :blind:

      You can throw all your alt-facts at me and it still won't make any of it true.
      Let's just wait to hear what the courts have to say- after all it's illegal and if there was any factual (not made up) proof- then he will be prosecuted any day now. Otherwise it's all just more lies from the conservative propaganda machine.

      Just like Hillary. You can get back to us with links to their arraignment if it ever happens, which is likely never since there is ZERO proof of all the accusations you both have been spouting here about her. Or maybe Trump is just too much of a lying coward he can't even go after Hillary when he promised to Lock her up? LOL! Tired of winning yet?

    • RE: Trump seen from Canada

      You can both keep spouting those statements but that's all they are. You can keep pushing for it but the FACT is there is NO PROOF. Because if there was, they would haul Obama to the courts so fast it would make all out heads spin.

      My last word on all this silliness about Obama and Hillary- why aren't they in jail or being prosecuted if ANY of it has basis in FACT??? Trump is president, the Republicans hold control over all branches of government- so it should be easy for them to take Hillary and Obama to court if there was ANY SHRED of evidence that they are guilty.

      Downfall of Obama? I doubt it. I won't hold my breath. I suggest you don't either.  ;D
      Remember "Lock her up"? The reason he can't even keep that promise is because even as president he CAN'T prove anything. Sad!  :laugh:

      Wow mhorndisk . Don't have a nervous breakdown dude. Read this thread again- it's not about how good Hillary is at all. Find me all those statemtns talking about Hillary in this thread….Right it's a thread about Trump and all his failings, lies and broken promises like the repeal he failed to get through, the lies about the coal industry improving and the embarrassment he caused when the US had to apologize to the UK for his wiretapping lies.

      YOU are the one who has brought Hillary into this thread- the topic is Trump. And stop starting silly threads and then chain bumping them as if anyone would pay more attention to you for doing that.  ::)  😛 You want a new poll about Hillary= you start it and see where it goes.  :laugh:

    • RE: Difficult to find love as a chubby

      Admittedly there's a reason why fit guys are used in advertising- they conform more the societal norms of attractiveness. And yes, fit people would have an easier time on the surface than overweight guys…
      BUT- that's just part of the story. There are other factors which in a way are more important- like your confidence, how you carry yourself, your sense of humor and overall personality. Just don't get caught up in the whole trap of going after guys who are fit and looking for fellow fit guys. That's just asking for rejection. Go out there, have fun and you'll attract the attention of people who are into you. The more people you meet, the better your chances of finding someone who'll find you attractive.

      That said- it never hurts to lose a few pounds if you can- more for health than anything else.  😉

      First off, strangeloop-  I was making a point and used the moon landing as an example. I never insulted you, nor did I threaten you in any way. I even told you you're free to believe what you want.

      And second, MORE importantly- it's not about ideology. You've got me all wrong. I am about integrity and the truth. So what I feel you are mistaken by is that the NEWS media is NOT ABOUT REPRESENTATION. It's about FACTS. Like when you have scientific studies that prove climate change and report about it– is that liberal? Or is it just plain facts WITHOUT necessarily having a political ownership by the left or right? When I read reports about the US apologizing to the UK about the false wiretapping claims- that is NOT being slapped with liberal propaganda- it's reading PLAIN OLD FACTS> it happened regardless of what the left or right think. Just because facts seem to favor one side or the other does not make it biased. It is what it is.

      The sort of equal representation you're looking for is the province of shows like Stephen Colbert, SNL, Hannity, Bill Maher, etc- these are OPINION shows and BOTH sides are very much entitled to representation.

      So - to be clear (and not condescending)- Actual serious news reports that Trumpcare failed to pass and replace Obamacare is NEWS and not left propaganda. The OPINION about whether Trumpcare is good or bad for the country- that's where representation, and biases can come into play.

    • RE: Post the last movie you've seen and how you rate it

      Finally got the chance to watch Warcraft: The Beginning (2016) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0803096/ and was pleasantly surprised and disappointed at the same time.

      Surprised because it wasn't as horrible as I was led to believe, and disappointed because I saw the mistakes they made with the story. The animation was gorgeous- and really captured the epic feel of Warcraft. But their attempts at building character were sorely lacking- the choice of villains was uninspired and connection with the audience fell flat. In fairness- I really think it was an uphill battle to get mainstream audiences to connect with and be sympathetic to the Orcs- if I watched it without my history background with the games I would've felt little for the Orcs and been utterly confused because they all look alike at first glance.
      Blizzard has proven so capable with making compelling cut-scenes in their games, I wish they could bring that into the movies they make.

      @strangeloop:

      All of these organizations are lock-step in the mainstream narrative.  You don't actually have any diversity of sources.  All of your sources come from the liberal mainstream media and all of them show the same exact agenda and bias.

      Some crazy figure like 96% of all journalists are liberal, and all of these journalists represent the mainstream side of the coin.  Conservatives make up about half this country, yet are barely even represented.  Why do you expect to able to see the other side of the coin from any news organization when there is a vast under-representation of conservative viewpoints in the mainstream media?

      Ah! I was waiting for this. Yes, they are all in lockstep with the mainstream narrative. It's called JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY- and the reason that it works in lockstep for the most part is because it's based on OBSERVABLE and VERIFIABLE FACTS- you know- things like science and scientific studies- that kind of thing which is so inconvenient to alt-fact loving conservatives.

      Vilifying the so-called mainstream media by claiming that they are lying is a tried and true tactic in debate called "poisoning the well".
      Here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisoning_the_well
      By telling everyone that a whopping 96% of all journalists are liberal- you expect people to just dismiss the reporting because of that? If in fact it's even true (which it's not). Historically, when fascists are threatened by the facts presented by the media- they like to discredit the media, weaken it so people don't get the facts and they can get away with whatever they want.

      If you really think all the sources I cited are working together in some grand conspiracy- then that's on you. I can't force you to change your belief. But the fact remains that the US apologized to the UK- it happened and was confirmed by both sides- unless you are telling me they just staged it like the moon landings maybe?

      And the fact remains that ACTUAL EXPERTS in the energy industry have confirmed that coal is NOT going to get a huge boost in job numbers NO MATTER what Trump does. For that one- time can give us the actual proof- we can look at the coal industry in say, a year- and see how many actual new jobs were created? You know, the kind of fact checking that actual journalists do?

      In the end it boils down to controlling the narrative- why else do you think the bible thumping, climate-change denying, vaccine conspiracy believing  conservatives are so afraid of science? So against scientific fact and research…ask yourself why? The only reason to fear knowledge is if you know, deep down, that it is going to prove that what you believe is wrong, and people hate to admit to being wrong. Sometimes they'd rather lie to themselves first.

      Heck, this is a GAY website. Supposedly everyone here is a gay man, yet there are GOP loyalists here. the GOP is a party that has been against every single bit of LGBT rights since Stonewall, and there are gay Republicans. Even now, the GOP wants to end sane-sex marriage, and make it legal for businesses to discriminate against gays, as long as they pretend their bigorty is religious.

      For a gay person to be a republican is like a Jewish person being a nazi, or a black person being in the KKK, or a black person being a republican, or a woman being a republican, or an atheist being a republican, or a Muslim being a republican…

      Wow- I couldn't agree with this more! I was just talking to some friends about how much it baffles me that there are gay men who can blind themselves to all the hatred and vitriol that the right throws at us, and they still insist on supporting the very groups that want to take away gay rights.  ???  I can't figure this out.

      And a special shout out to wohdin for your comment using eschatological conspiracy theorist- three words that I never expected to encounter at a gay porn download site- you made my day, sir!  :laugh: I couldn't agree more with your sentiments as well.  😉

      @Frederick:

      Where do you get this garbage from?   You must watch a lot of CNN.
      His wiretapping claims have not been debunked, in fact, every few days - including today - more comes out to support Trump's claims.  Also, nobody apologized to the UK.. nor do they need to.  Every major country spies on every other major country.. even if they are allies.  The problem is when one's OWN country spies on it's own citizens - which is illegal, and it what Trump complained about.

      The "outdated" coal industry is far from being outdated..  and clean coal is now doing quite well.  I can actually share something about that.   Many years ago… while moving south from New York, and driving through New Jersey,  there were massive chimneys from factories billowing clouds of black smoke.  They have a lot of industry in that area, and it smelled so bad that one had to raise the windows, and hold their nose while driving past them.  A few years ago, I went through the same areas, and the factories now spew out billowing white clouds which are steam vapor, and the windows can be opened.

      Hahaha! Okay you want sources- let's talk sources. You think it's CNN? Here are just some of the sources- and none of them are CNN.
      Read something other than alt-news and be better informed. Your ignorance is showing and really getting sad.

      http://www.vox.com/energy-and-environment/2017/2/21/14671932/donald-trump-coal-mining-jobs

      As for the wiretapping. I said the US apologized and was humiliated. Trump refused because he's just a conspiracy spouting liar. LOL! Again, no CNN here:

    • RE: They thought Trump was crazy in the 3rd debate..

      @Frederick:

      It's amazing that everything you say is wrong.  It is asinine to start assuming things such as any ties to Russia.  There are no signs of that, and even if there was.. so what?  Communism in Russia and the USSR ended roughly 22 years ago.  It's far better to have Russia as a friend than an enemy.  Speaking of ties to Russia… as Secretary of State, Hillary sold 20% of the USA's stockpile of uranium to Russia for her own benefit.  If Russia ever nukes some country, they can thank Hillary for that.

      Not being a politician is a big part of why Trump was elected president.   He's the first president in modern times that is not a political serpent.  Even the republican party fought very hard to prevent Trump from becoming president.  It's refreshing to have a president who is not a puppet of a political party.

      First you say there are no signs of that, and then you say even if there are so what? Well if it wasn't such a big deal then Trump would have nothing to worry about would he? Flynn shouldn't have had to resign then?  :laugh:

      And again with using Hillary as your favorite shield- give it a rest. This is so stupid it's laughable- there was nothing criminal about what she did that was her executing her function as Secretary. If there were the Republicans would have locked her up! (BTW how's that promise of Trump coming along?)  ::) She was investigated and exonerated. That's the process and Trump should be willing to go through the same.

      And for the last time- what Hillary or Obama did does not protect Trump from whatever he's being accused of. It's like you're saying- give Trump a pass for his crimes because Hillary's a crook too! That's just ridiculous yet you keep doing it.  😛

      As my momma used to say: If everyone else jumped off the Canal bridge, would you?

      Just because others have, does not make a requirement. If it was so important, there would be a law!

      Are you seriously comparing transparency with jumping off a bridge? How about this- if everyone brushed their teeth after meals, would you? See?  :laugh:

      There may not be a law- but that's mainly because RATIONAL people with nothing to hide, knew it was important so they did it without having to be told. • RE: Political Civil War

      You're the one who should check your facts-

      Obamacare was NOT rammed by one party vote- it was carefully crafted over a long period to get a consensus from other parties and groups. The bill that was attempted to be rammed by one party vote and FAILED was Trumpcare.

      Trumpcare failed because it had a measly 17% approval rating, was so terribly conceived that all health care providers and medical professionals were AGAINST it, and famously- it would result in MILLIONS of people becoming uninsured.

      The DEFINITION of insurance is that costs ARE distributed- the healthy help pay for the sick. That's the way it works. If only sick people got insured, the insurance companies would go bankrupt. Read more than just talking points from Trumpcare boosters. (What few there are!  :laugh: :laugh: )

      Democrats were united because Trumpcare was SO BAD no one wanted it- (see 17% approval) and that's why it was easy to maintain party loyalty- while the divided Republicans couldn't be convinced by Trump to vote for his bill despite all the anti-Obamacare promises and rhetoric. Talk is cheap- they proved they couldn't do it when it came time to act.

      You seem to think that ramming legislation in a short time span is a good thing… Trumpcare, unlike the affordable care act, was so rushed, it failed to pass and get support from a unified Republican party. It wasn't given enough time to develop properly. It's the sort of shoddy planning that this admin is getting to be known for. That's why they keep losing. Trump will NOT have a plan in place- stop deluding yourself. Even Speaker Ryan admitted that Obamacare is the law of the land, he knows and admits they failed big time. It's so much fun to punch holes in all your arguments.   ;D

      Here- read something other than Alt-facts: https://www.buzzfeed.com/alexislevinson/after-that-health-care-fail-its-not-clear-if-republicans?utm_term=.dsNA6XyM7#.weV2N7yMe
