      Woah! I have been dying to see Dear Evan Hansen so you SHOULD go see it!  :cheers:

      The cast is so cool, they even made a video as Ben Platt passes the torch to Noah Galvin. (I find Ben Platt adorable and would love to see his performance. Sadly it isn't meant to be.)  :cry2:

      SIOSI go out on a date this Valentine's weekend, or just hang out with friends?

      Thankfully, no I don't.
      While there are lots of books and opinions about love, I guess all I can say is you'll know it when it happens to you.  :love: And not in the idealized dreamy Hollywood way. In the end, love is a choice.

      TPBM has been or is in a relationship that has lasted one year or more.

      An interesting choice for this season… A hymn to the one that got away.  :blownose: Well, flozen, I'll see your version and raise you this version by my favorite Canadian indie alt rock group.

      Nope, I live in another tropical country, where traffic can put your life in peril, or at least it seems to.  😛

      TPBM has fallen in love.

      I prefer to roll in the hay sans clothing, so I'd go with white long socks.

      Great looks or great personality?

      @flozen:

      Like the Weather – 10,000 Maniacs (1988)

      Such a big song in university towns and alt radio, such a big video on early MTV, and yet only reached #68 on Billboard Hot 100.  Go figure!

      Youtube Video

      Loved that song! It became so popular over here, it's really a shame it didn't reach higher in the charts.

      In the spirit of this season of hearts, I'm listening to:

      Gah! I'd be more than happy to have all three, tyvm.  :cheesy2: But if I had to choose one, I'm picking the Mimosa but only because i haven't had one in a while.

      (Agree with you on wealth, it can "cure" loneliness but that wouldn't buy you love)
      (JohnA it can be challenging, but being poor shouldn't stop you from getting into a sci-fi convention. Hopefully you'll get the chance to.)

      Now for a dip into horror:
      Stephen King or Clive Barker?

      Aww..!I love them both!  :hug:
      But, since I've got a thing for blondes I choose Tweek!

      Love and poverty or wealth and loneliness?

      I sure did!  :cheers: Waited for it then slept and missed half the day, but still managed to grab almost a dozen wish listed vids. My poor hard drive is about to burst…  :afr:

      Choir rehearsal sounds fun enough, so you shouldn't skip it.
      Been thinking about binge watching on Netflix this weekend, though I've been asked by some friends to go out instead. SIOSI?

      Nope, haven't watched it. Not particularly attracted to Christian, but I have to admit he's attractive.
      [flozen you will enjoy all four seasons of Bojack. I guarantee it gets even better with each passing season. Thanks for the link to Amy.]

      TPBM has watched, and is a big fan, of Black Mirror.

      I liked it in the past, but got tired of it tbh. I'm a big Bojack Horseman fan nowadays.

      TPBM is a Rick and Morty fan.  :cheesy2:

    • RE: Trump vs Bannon

      @Frederick:

      @brianboru72:

      Bannon was blasted to little pieces because Trump overreacted and felt disrespected. Like the baby he is, he just couldn't let his former trusted adviser and campaign manager off the hook no matter how much he apologized. In the end, Bannon got kicked out of Breitbart.
      Trump just didnt want to give Bannon a break. The truth hurts, specially when it's spoken by someone you trusted as a top adviser who helped you win the presidency.

      This is ripe.   You are defending Steve Bannon… whom you previously have always condemned.
      By the way, Bannon's apologies came AFTER Trump blasted Bannon.
      Also, Bannon didn't help Trump.  He was always a liability.

      You can go back to your cave now.

      Aww is that the best you can do? Tsk. You've gotten soft having no one to bother to argue with you. 😁
      First off- your blatant lie about me condemning Bannon… Please point to even ONE instance before this thread that I even mentioned him.  He's always been unimportant to me since he's just your run of the mill alt right nut. Uninteresting.😴
      Second- if Bannon was such a liability... Why did Trumpy  himself pick him to lead the campaign? Why did Trumpet hand pick and appoint him to be part of the inner circle in the White House? Deny the truth all you want, but it just looks silly and desperate since all of these facts are readily available in the public record.  😉

      So fun to relive old times Fred. Too bad mhorn is gone. Ciao!  :cheers:

      Silence= Vindication
      :haha:
      You can declare all you want, but the facts are clear: it's satisfying enough to know that Trump has slapped his Republican allies in both Congress and Senate and decided to make deals with his new pals Chuck and Nancy.

      With his new Democrat pals working with him, that's the fastest he ever got anything passed. Results speak for themselves.  :cheesy2: Just wait and see- a deal on DACA will be next. It's more fun to watch things unfold now than to get mired in petty arguments over here.  :banana2:

    • RE: Royalcrown: Hillary deleted 30K AFTER subpoena: "It was mistake." Give me hammer

      If, as you say, she is guilty of all that nonsense- I just have ONE QUESTION for you:

      WHY HASN'T TRUMP LOCKED HER UP LIKE HE PROMISED???  :cheesy2:

      Either she's guilty and the Republican controlled Congress and Presidency would have had the Justice Department drag her to court by now-
      OR
      they (and you) are grasping at fake conspiracies with no substance so they CAN'T LOCK HER UP.  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

      Oh- My rep is still in the 20's? Tsk. What's slowing you guys down? I thought I'd be in the red by now. Hahaha!
      And so you know- I NEVER downvote out of spite or just for the sake of dragging down. When you get a thumbs down from me- I mean it. Or a thumbs up too, for that matter. LOL!
