1. it might affect lots of LGBT
2. it factually "is what it is" & I think it's time to say the facts.

Sometimes I follow your rule & put a second thread in Politics & Debate, to soak up any controversy.

If I think something is not LGBT-focus, or, maybe it ought to be a controversy, I put it in Politics & Debate - avoid Gay News.

But, one time I did it & a person or two flipped out, saying, why didn't I put it in Gay News? move it to Gay News!
