After many months of life, a surprising Copyright claim and the torrent was deleted.

Question: Will I be breaking GT Rules if, now after many months more, I re-torrent it?

I'm aware it might end in another copyright delete. I just want people to enjoy it. The only question here is whether this action is allowed by GT Rules / admins.

Certain torrents, that I find stupid, get renewed as Freeleech every day. I know I'll never download them. Is there a way I can block them out?

"Block user" isn't relevant, since the torrent does not display the user.

I had to set the "filter hardness" quite low, like to 20 (lots of false positives)... but it was fun.

When you have an excess of bonus points, here's a fun trick to boost ratio.

1. Find a torrent that you desire (say from wishlist), that is barely alive / has few seeders.

2. Spend some bonus points to make it Freeleech for all.

3. A second later, start your own download.

Result: You get a desired torrent for free (zero download credit).... and you are "early" in that particular freeleech (good chances of upload credit).

The Exchange page would give you 1 G of upload credit for 100 bonus points. But, with this technique, I can often get several G - plus a free download that I'd been wanting. A better deal.

You do need a proper upload setup in terms of ISP, port forwarding, leaving your client to run overnight, etc.

Unknown, so I would refer to the first point above: if you think the content is good, then you will find it worthwhile to keep it alive. Your effort, so, your choice / your judgment.

What external storage - I guess it might not be HDD - would survive an EMP attack? (likely to happen in the next war or terrorist event)

Not quite: part of the concept, again, is that you're getting laid often (if you wish) with partner(s) IRL.

Have you heard of the "NoFap" movement? They're not celibates. Many are pro-sex. They just think that doing it alone (masturbating to porn, cough) wastes your physical energy, so, either get with a real partner or don't bother. Anyway, a NoFapper would look at my 2 points above and go "Obviously....Duh."

I need something that can look into the human-visible contents of image or video files and tell me about likely duplicates. Matching on file name, byte contents, size, etc. is not good enough.

For images, I've tried Visipics and Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder. They're OK for finding near-exact matches.

But they miss a lot of matches where the difference is cropping: in other words, a human looking at 2 images can see that one crops or overlaps another making them conceptually the same, but Visipics or ADPF will not see the match. What other app would be good?

And for finding video content matches, I have no idea. Last time I checked, apps only matched on file byte contents (not very useful). What content matching app would be good for video?

@pawpcorn Thanks, and it also helps to remember the "active / including dead / only dead" pulldown next to the Search button.

My wishlist was growing and shrinking, "mysteriously" until I realized that some torrents go back and forth between active and dead, dependent on who is seeding at the time.

I made a new torrent with QuickTorrentMaker which uploaded it thru my uTorrent client, except that I get the dreaded "red bar" on initial seeding.

No error messages, 1 peer connected / trying to leech, but nothing going up. What should I do?

I know what a dead torrent is (no seeders). I'm saying, after you Download this one's torrent, you go to its "Request reseed" button and that button is strangely gray/inactive. Why?
