    • RE: Does this finally put the mask debate to bed? 'Gold standard' analysis of 78 studies and 1million people finds face coverings made 'little to no difference' to Covid infection or death rates

@NF16 Sorry but your comment did not come off as Critical Thinking. It did come off as what Mask Zombies say.

Just so you know: Critical Thinkers buck the trend and question why we were suddenly out to damage a generation of kids with these horrific lockdown, mask & vaxx mandates - who has made billion$$ from it - whether it all suspended the Constitution in essence - where it leads - etc.

For no reason - just fyi in general - also know that Critical Thinkers do NOT say things like "I Am The Science", "Follow The Science" when they want to stop questions, etc.

@nix54 I hope that response is some very deep reference or at least mis-typed. Because it says 1) we can't "know" things and shouldn't "worry" ie. try, and 2) being institutionalized by the State would be good. Disagree.

@MrMazda Remember SADS? Used to be plural of SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder, a mild winter depression.

Then in 2022 as people noticed vaxx-related deaths, "they" (media programmers) had to invent SADS, Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, & claim it had somehow always been with us.

      Time for a humor break.

@raphjd "Whataboutism" is what midwits say when confronted with truth, perspective, context.

      Example.

Midwit: "My neighbor had a wood fire on Christmas! Their carbon footprint is killing the planet!"

Truth-teller: "Even if CO2 mattered, what about your weekly private jet trips?"

Piercing questions, shutting up a midwit, often begin with "What about?" It's just grammar.

So the midwit goes "I are super smart person, I can say whataboutism as I plug my ears to you lalalalallalallalalalalalala!!!"

      Yes I laughed too.

But it's a real study from South Korea.

@NF16 The Danish researchers' study IS LITERALLY "experts chiming in".

Was your comment meant as a parody of the Mask Zombies?

I may struggle to detect parody sometimes.

@lololulu19 Indeed. All the masks ever did, was shift some of your airborne infectious exhale to the people on each side of you. So the person in front of you didn't get it all.

Oh and they do stop "large droplets" like spit or from coughing. But covid & flu are spread more by aerosols (your cloud of micro droplets, that masks ignore).

They don't do zero - the researchers did find a whopping 5% reduction in spread, from masking. Oh joy.

P.S. And for that: We damaged a generation of kids.

For language & social skillz, kids need to see faces. Also need in-person group activities, meaning lockdowns hurt them too.

We made a generation of kids more depressed & dysfunctional, compared to their pre-covid benchmarks.

@nix54 They took an experimental tech - something "used for two decades" except only on Stage 4 cancer patients - thus having ZERO long-term safety data for normies - and shoved it into the general public.

I'm sorry (if) you fell for it.

@MrMazda Correct - the push for these vaxx was weird.

They were never safe - from the beginning of 2021, they showed (un)safety signals that got a vaccine product banned immediately, in previous times.

And they were never effective for more than a few months per shot - except now they've driven covid evolultion (variants) forward to the point where these vaxx are ineffective and may perhaps even "boost" your chance of infection, something called negative protection.

I don't know if we've reached the tipping point where more people have died of vaxx heart damage, strokes, etc. than were "saved" by them, but we must be getting near.

@hubrys You've made me feel sorry for you.

      Genuine pity.

YOU PERSONALLY are the victim of much, much, much, bigger liars & lies.

Like an autist watching the paint dry, unable to handle reality, you retreat to your Santos corner & write a list.

@MrMazda Like Hillary, the question is when doesn't Joe Biden lie? In the 1980s and 1990s, he was most famous for having skated through college on plagiarism. And for lifting others' speeches & zingers, repeating them straight-up like they were his own & people hadn't heard them days earlier. Comedians made fun of him nonstop. But nowadays, just put on the TV and watch him talk. "I brought gas prices down" - when they're nearly double Trump's. "If you take these vaxx you won't get infected". Biden would be Orwellian, if he weren't so crude & stupid. P.S. Many a little girl joining him for some photo op, has felt sexually abused by him ie. fondled or sniffed creepily in public.

@lololulu19 And the only one calling for a negotiated end to Ukraine war / stop WW3.

A fountain of common sense. It's weird.

The more so with today's libs LOVING the notion of German tanks in Ukraine to make World War with Russia.

      Really. Think about it.

Parallel after parallel, falls into place.

With cosmetic changes only...mere changes of 1) flag, 2) which race libs hate, 3) iconography.

@raphjd Government official.... saying get rid of some race or ethnic group.... as "the solution".

Hmm what does that remind me of?

      What could it be?

Evidence #2,000,001493 that modern libs are re-branded fascists.

Actual Nazi fascists of past times said, oops our brand is dead now / we better re-brand as modernist libs, after all, we always were science-y progressive socialists. Only thing we gotta change is, which race we hate.

      There's books on it.

Dr. John Campbell (UK PhD nurse) puts numbers & data to it.

Here in Jan 2023, for ordinary people...... the risk of serious injury from vaxx, not huge, but still roughly like 10x greater than the teeny tiny risk of dying from covid.

It should be a no-brainer that we stop vaxxing normies, only vaxx a few people who are medically weak or fearful.

      "Should be."

    • RE: Ivan Provorov controversy

@raphjd We'd have to get more specific about these laws before I could take a stand either way.

In general I believe in freedom of association, freedom of expression, and having things be 2-way streets.

Freedom of expression - What an athlete wears should be a zero-viewpoint team uniform, then maybe add whatever viewpoint the individual wants. Not forcing them to add the viewpoints of others.

Freedom of association - If a landlord or employer is dumb enough to discriminate against me as a gay, I say let them. They're the idiot. It's on them. I'm a grownup, & tons of other landlords or employers will be better.

BUT - Equal protection - if we do have laws on the books blocking such discrimination, fine, let's enforce them equally on everyone. Don't be selective.

Example: if the law is used to stop a Christian's anti-gay discrimination...... but then is NOT used to stop a Muslim's anti-gay discrimination.... that's just wrong.

      Apply same laws equally everywhere.

Likewise, if the law is used to force Christian bakers to make gay wedding cakes, in a spirit of equal application, the law should also force gay bakers to make Christian wedding cakes. I mean, if we're having such petty laws.

That's how I think in general.
