Also just a reminder. As you can see from your screenshot, you have not downloaded ALL the torrent content. Every byte you seed will always be registered and you can check it in real time on your profile page. But that particular torrent will always be showing as "leeching" instead of seeding.

So again, you don't need to download the whole content if you don't want to, and everything you seed will be registered, but while the torrent is active and not fully downloaded it will be listed as if you're leeching even though you're not leeching anymore.

Interestingly I've sat with a video I downloaded here a year ago, it's been dead for months, but it was still in my seeding list showing as "unregistered tracker" (dead by copyright claim). I then used QTM to create a torrent to the same file and uploaded it, and the very same torrent I downloaded a year ago started seeding again.

Actually, the issue I think you're seeing there (I don't know for sure, as I'm not downloading that torrent) is that there are plenty of leechers (people who don't have the whole thing), but likely only the original seeder (uploader) so far - and they may not be seeding it at all any longer, or may just have a really slow connection.

If you "report" the torrent, a staff member may be able to look into the uploader's initial seeding.

This gets REALLY problematic when you consider that other, potentially faster, uploaders are stopped from uploading because it would be a duplicate.

It's REALLY important that: IF you upload, make sure you can SEED!

BTW: This is the 2nd "new topic" about basically the same thing... you know, you don't get credit anymore for starting new topics (or posting at all)... that ended years ago when the forum software was changed...

What will happen if you get purged will depend on the country you live in. You know better how thinngs are in your own country. If the site ceases to exist than we keep whatever we have downloaded and we lose the best source of free and unlimited porn we've ever had.

Oh, man! I feel the pain already. I never had that experience with McAfee before, but Malwarebytes was all up in my grill regarding utorrent, lol! So yeah, I had to do those steps described above. Presently, I have AVAST and I definitely had some firewall issues with them in the beginning, but no issues now. Thankfully.

redownload .torrent file of your own torrent from gt.ru and choose your download file location = where you are saving this file on your computer. ((Your file must be unedited, renamed for example).

This would be really useful - so you can have a preview of the content before downloading. Can it move forward please?

The tracker issues aside, QBittorrent does not behave with our tracker very well because we do not have "Scrape" enabled. I'm going to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it was explicitly mentioned in a training document about QBittorrent acting strangely because of it.

Thankfully the fix is easy, if a download is "Stalled", right click it and click "Force Resume". This should resolve the issue 🙂

The qBitTorrent "scrape" issue only comes into play when you complete a download.

"Scraping" is essentially a re-announce to the tracker that you have the complete torrent and are now a seeder, not a leecher.

In qBitTorrent, there is a simple fix: set your client to force re-check upon completion. It will seed properly AFTER the re-check.

To be completely clear - the part in qBitTorrent about the scrape isn't all there is to a scrape...

But where it comes into play with qBitTorrent is that it "scrapes" at the conclusion of the download - and our tracker doesn't support scrapes - so the qBitTorrent client sits there saying to itself "I'm a seeder" while the GTru tracker says "he's a leecher still"

When you set the force-recheck, and it completes, the qBitTorrent sends a fill ANNOUNCE to the tracker, which is accepted and voila! You're a seeder!
