Let's face it. The Republican party is now the fascist party of America. This was not always the case. I have to admit that I admire Geoge H. W. Bush. Uh, loath his politics tho. H.W. could greet the minions of foreign gov'ts BY NAME! This is a good thing. W. and Trump would be hard pressed to tell you who is/was head of Mexico or Canada. This is totally not good. I think we can attribute this whole split to Nixon's 'Southern Strategy'. Conservative Dem's (John Connally who rode in JFK's fatal car) switched parties. Moderate Republicans (hey, did you know that Elizabeth Warren was one? Me neither.) were forced out of the party, or at least left voiceless. We are in a political wilderness and we need a good guide.

RE: Have you ever met some muslims who come out?
Somewhat sadly, I don't think I've even met a Muslim, period. One of these days, as an atheist, I'd like to talk to an Imam about their religion. While I don't believe, religion fascinates me. It goes into the why do people believe weird things category, but millions upon millions do and I am curious as to why. The author Karen Armstrong is an excellent place to start for this type of inquiry.

RE: Is your microwave spying on you?
My microwave can NOT be spying on me. I can't even get its damn door to open now. Hey. Maybe the new one will!

RE: How old is too old?
How old is too old? Eh, probably my age or so.

RE: Guys with long hair: Hot or Not?
Long hair was such a turn on for me. Just, please! No facial hair! The guys in 'Dazed and Confused' were so…..Ah! I went to school with all of them (essentially). At any rate, it took me a very long time to appreciate guys with short hair. Stanley, from Enigmatic Boys, really helped me to be, ah, appreciative of really short hair

RE: What song are you currently listening to?
I just ran into a small special on, I guess, PBS, about the Mamas and the Papas so I am kinda stuck with those songs in my head now. Hey, could be far, far worse

RE: Do you watch porn how many times a week?
First off, I'm getting old. Eh, there's that. Happens, ya know? I am finding that I like single pics. I sort them like my coin collection when I was a boy. Eh, let's just say I have Asperger's and be done with it, waddya say, eh? Oh! As to the question, oh, ah, daily if not more so.
But, by gawd, my porn collection is ORGANIZED!! Well ….. at least the pics are. The vids are still a mess

RE: So Called President Trump Accuses Obama of Tapping His Phone Calls
I would liken the insane mango to Daffy Duck, except that Daffy is ineffectual and does not have the ability to reign horror upon the world. If we aren't careful, we're fucked.

RE: Which type of porn do you prefere?
I think this all just goes to show that good porn, like any good film, is not easily achieved. Any two (or more) cute fools can have sex on camera. And sometimes this can work, much like, say, Baywatch (hey, at least one hottie there). I.e. really stupid shit, but with nice eye candy. Cadinot is a a treasure for making actual films that happened to also be really hot porn. Bruce la Bruce has done it, once in a while (I adore the line: He was a skinhead. I can tell. I'm a hairdresser). An early favorite of mine was Kiss-Off with Axel Garrett. Something of a story there and really hot sex. Now the one movie that will always be in my heart as far as being really hot, having a fine sense of humor and, er, sorta following a Charles Dickens plot is Oliver Twink. I love this film :cool2:

"Butcha are, Blanche, ya are!" I probably say that far too often.

RE: What's your preference …...Briefs or Boxers?
Briefs. Can't stand boxers. They (usually) ugly, too

RE: Silent films
First, yes that movie came out in 2012, but still, it is essentially a silent film. It took me a while to appreciate these golden oldies. The Chaplin stuff, such as 'Modern Times' is just hilarious. In college I got more exposure, once sitting thru something 3+ hours of two of Fritz Lang's early Dr. Mabuse films. They were fascinating. Then there is Abel Gance's epic masterpiece 'Napoleoon' which has a run time of about 4 hours and at the end, requres 3 (count 'em!) projectors running at once to achieve what has to be the first 'wide-screen' presentation ever. Then there is Sergei Eisenstein's 'Battlehip Potemkin' which practically defined film language. In De Palma's 'The Untouchables' he literally lifts the Steps of Odessa sequence for his baby carriage down the steps of the train station sequence. Practically shot for shot. And then there is the granddaddy of all cult films 'Nosferatu'. I got to see this at the Alamo with a commissioned score played live. Loudest damn silent film I've ever seen One thing to note with these very early films is that back then, film speed was not at all standardized, whereas now, most of the time they are shown at a fixed speed, which usually means everything tends to look at bit fast or slow. Criterion probably fixes that problem.
End rant

RE: Saw headline re: SXSW and thought it was a reaction to Trump immigration mess
Yep. SXSW is a major INTERNATIONAL event, so 45's inept 'policies' are gonna be a major kink, much like they've been for certain sports. Not sure if I'm quite looking forward to SXSW this year as they are reopening a large venue that has otherwise been abandoned for the past few years, but it sits directly between me and the Convention Center. I hated it when Snoop Dog played there 3 years ago. A major aural headfuck.

RE: Jeff Sessions Deserves to be in Jail.
This going to get much, much worse and from multiple directions. Rachel Maddow has a piece that is just so damn complicated that it cannot be done with sound bites, which is probably why not many people are familiar with it. Check it out here hxxps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjEunPcmiMo, with the requisite replacing of the x's. But it is horribly damning for yet another cabinet appointee.

RE: How many days have you gone without jerking off?
Mostly zero. Literally. When I was like 3 I tried to remember just when I started jacking off. It was how I could go to sleep. Puberty was a fucking revelation. I had no clue. Needless to say, things ratcheted up quite a bit then.

RE: What is your favorite porn scene/movie?
I am in love with 'Oliver Twink'. surprisingly fine acting, with a director that gleefully breaks the 4th wall and a 'script' based on Dickens. What's not to like

RE: Is there anyone +25 here and still virgin?
Uh, depends on how you define 'virgin'. I'm 62 and 'technically' a virgin. Have I had sex? Hell yes! just not with women.

RE: Bill Paxton dead
Paxton and Pullman were so routinely confused that they were often simply known as The Two Bills. But there was ONE film that they both were in and it is a mind-bender. It is called Brain Dead and it was the last thing produced from a Charles Beaumont story/screenplay. This guy wrote some of the most iconic Twilight Zones ever, so you definitely know something of his work. Brain Dead was definitely obscure, but it is such a joy to watch. "Ooh, NOW I know what's going one!!" Er, nope. Ya don't. Check it out.

RE: To shave or not to shave pubic hair?
Trimming is a necessity. Shaving may not work for some as they may get razor burn which doesn't look all that good. But anything that helps one not to get pubic hairs stuck between the teeth helps.
