Literally all of Frederick's posts have started with insults just to bait his opposition, this should be against the rules.

RE: Puerto Rico votes in favor of statehood
As someone already said, they only want to become a state so the US tax payers will bail them out.
Just like we bail out the red states!

RE: Puerto Rico votes in favor of statehood
Don't hold your breath, anyone. I lived in Puerto Rico for 8 years and understand the politics there. The 23% turnout represents a boycott by those against statehood. Turnout for gubernatorial elections is usually over 90%. The true sentiment about statehood in Puerto Rico is about 50:50. Even worse, Congress has ignored Puerto Ricans' wishes in the past and has no appetite for granting it statehood.
Welp, USA and colonialism goes hand in hand.

RE: Puerto Rico votes in favor of statehood
Puerto Rico voted overwhelmingly in favor of statehood on Sunday in a referendum that begins the steps toward sending representatives to Washington, D.C.
According to the Wall Street Journal, 97 percent voted for statehood, though turnout was only about 23 percent. One and a half percent voted for independence from the United States, according to Decision Desk HQ, while 1.3 percent voted to keep the current status of a territory of the United States.
Hahaha Trumpkins! A new Democrat state coming! Republicans will never win again!!! HAHAHA!

3 electoral votes for Puerto Rico would not mean diddly squat. By the way, the reason Puerto Rico now wants to be a state is because they are bankrupt.
Trump won the 2016 election with 306 to 232 electoral votes. When you factor in the electors that flipped, that comes to (306 -3 + 5) to (232 + 2 -5) or 308 to 229.. a difference of 79 electoral votes. Trump got 35% more electoral votes than Hillary, which is astonishing because all the polls had her winning by 20%. A gap of 55%! Looks like the polls were quite WRONG.
Anyway.. take you 3 electoral votes and stuff them. he won by 79 electoral votes.
It's interesting that the big push for electors to change their votes backfired. Eight electors attempted to flip their vote from Hillary - with 5 succeeding. Three electors attempted to flip their votes from Trump - with 2 succeeding and 1 more that resigned rather than cast a vote that nobody got.
You are forgetting that Puerto rico would get 5 reps in Congress, which will definitely upset the republicans!

Schumer To Trump: Testify!
The president offered to testify under oath. The Senate’s Democratic leader says bring it on.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) wants to bring President Donald Trump’s show to Capitol Hill, he said on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” Sunday.
During a news conference Friday, Trump offered to testify under oath about his account of his encounters with then-FBI Director James Comey, who told the Senate intelligence committee Thursday that the president pressured him to back off an investigation of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s contacts with Russia and other foreign powers.

RE: More proof liberals hate differing opinions
I like the change, the politics & debate section really flooded the recent forum section of the homepage. But, It makes it a little harder to upvote/downvote new posts/topics by adding more clicks.

RE: Sponsors of terror ‘falling victim to evil they promote’ ‒ Trump on Tehran attak
No US President is going to go against Saudi. It's just not gonna happen.
That just shows you that liberals are FEELZ NOT REALZ.
Down voting a well known fact. Sheesh, you people are pathetic.
Jeez, just think of the downvote as an upside down upvote.

Breitbart hasn't been the same after they lost their provocateur/pedophile sympathizer.

RE: March for HATE! The "Marches against Sharia", are really marches against Muslims
I thought this post would inspire a debate, that's why I shared it. I'm not pro Sharia.

RE: A Geography Class for Racist People
Just because there aren't 2 billion who are radicalized as terrorists, doesn't mean they gel with western society.
Texas banned the use of non US/State laws in Texas and muslims got extremely butt hurt because that includes sharia. All over the west, we have NO GO areas where muslims control the areas.
Muslims get butt hurt because they think that the welfare that everyone else in the country (whatever country it is) isn't good enough for them and that they deserve more.
Most "refugees" are actually economic migrants.
I love how you generalize all Muslims as if different sects of Islam do not exist, or people on an individual level who believe different things; textbook bigotry.

A Geography Class for Racist People
I just stumbled upon this fantastic video by an amazing woman who really breaks down the two types of people during difficult times in the world.
I especially liked when she said there are over 2B muslims in this world and if they were all terrorists, you wouldn't stand a chance.
So True!

March for HATE! The "Marches against Sharia", are really marches against Muslims
An unholy alliance of Islamophobic hate group members, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and armed anti-government militia members will rally against the nonexistent threat of sharia, or Islamic, law in the U.S this weekend.
The “March Against Sharia” rallies are set to place on Saturday in 29 cities across 21 states, and are being organized by Act for America, the nation’s largest anti-Muslim hate group. Act for America has billed this weekend’s events as some kind of noble stand against “atrocities” it attributes ― wrongly ― to sharia.
But a quick look at the group’s origins and its members’ statements reveal that pretext to be a ruse. Saturday’s marches are against Muslims and Islam itself, and they’re attracting some of the most dangerous elements of the far right.
“They are calling them ‘Anti-Sharia’ rallies, but let us call them what they are: ‘Anti-Muslim’ protests,” Muslim activist and Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour wrote on Facebook. “If your definition of Sharia was defined by an anti-Muslim bigot, you might want to rethink it and ask a Muslim who actually follows the religion of Islam.”

RE: Lets work towards finding common ground and build solutions from there
Therefore, it's only me condemning bad behavior on the left and absolutely no one but fellow liberals condemning bad behavior on the right. That has to change or we can't even start to reach common ground in this forum. It cannot be this one-sided.
It is literally only you condemning bad behavior on the left, from the left. The majority of "your side" refuses to say anything. Also, you've yet to say anything on Evergreen. If you want "the right" to condemn something post a link here.
Nope, I've posted bad behavior from those on the right and there was ZERO condemnation by those on here who consider themselves conservative. Instead, I've seen either a doubling-down of the bad behavior or complete deflection from the topic. And at least I am condemning bad behavior by those on the left, even if it's just me. There are NO conservative or conservative-leaners on here that will do the same for bad behavior on the right.
I'm not going to read every single post on this forum, especially when most are shitposts at best.
If your describing your own posts, I agree.

RE: Sponsors of terror ‘falling victim to evil they promote’ ‒ Trump on Tehran attak
Sutieday, sutieday….
I asked you two direct questions solely of clarifying intent about the WORDS YOU SAID.
First, you said that you're "blaming the Trump administration ... for the recent terror attacks that have occured in the UK" [sic]. I'm asking for you to back up this statement with evidence. How is Trump responsible for terror attacks in the UK?
Secondly, you said that you've condemned Obama for his support of Saudia Arabia? Where have you done so?
I'm not making an argument here, and I'm not asking a rhetorical question. I'm simply asking for you to clarify your meaning, based on words you've already felt comfortable to put down in writing.
If I blame the Trump admin, that is a statement, not a fact.
I have said anyone supporting Saudi Arabia is bad.

RE: Why liberals love so much islam?
This thread has me so confused. Wasn't Trump just doing the arab snake dance with the very people who fund all of the worlds Islamic terror. He never once said the words "Islamic terrorism" either. He is a coward.
Ironic, when Trump used to read "The Snake" poem during the campaign trail…

RE: Bernie Sanders Needs to Apologize
The overwhelming majority of Christians believe that Jesus is the only savior and believe in Hell; therefore, Bernie just called the overwhelming majority of Christians "islamophobes." I am a Christian and I am not an "islamophobe," Bernie.
FIrst, is freedom of religion. You are free to believe whatever hateful thing you want to believe, and Bernie never said otherwise.
Two, is the right to criticize other religions. I, and Bernie ,can look at the things you believe in and state our own opinions about them. We do not have to apologize simply because you disagree.
Three, and this is the big one- you think "Freedom of Religion" automatically makes all beliefs no longer bigoted. That is just not true.
I'm impressed Magentas!
Not with your comments, but with the fact you can count to three!By the way.. Religious Freedom is an oxymoron. Here are other oxymorons: military intelligence, hot ice, pretty woman..
Your guy, #45 believes in Religious freedom so I guess he's also an (oxy)moron.

RE: Lets work towards finding common ground and build solutions from there
It is true, that some of the poorest states in the USA are run by Republicans.
Red states are poorer than blue states
Red states are less educated and more stupid than blue states
Red states are fatter than blue states
Red states are more diseased with diabetes than blue states
Red states are more addicted to opioids than blue states
Red states' people die younger than blue statesRepublicans are the party of stupid, the party of failure, the party of addiction and early death. Yet we give them 300 billion in free federal money from blue state taxpayers. We can use that money to pass universal healthcare for everyone in blue states and let the red state-ers die off in their short miserable lives.
You forgot to mention the richest blue states (California and New York) make up a large percentage of the U.S. GDP. California also produces most of America's food. Without them the US would be nothing.

RE: Lets work towards finding common ground and build solutions from there
Democrats still haven't woken up yet. There's a culture war going on between the stupid and the smart. There are tens of millions of people, manipulated by the rich and powerful, fighting to drag the world back to the dark ages. Democrats need to realize that being "smart" or "right" isn't enough, they have to fight and win.
Democrats have 68% of the economy, they give 300 billion in federal taxes to republican states. Kentucky needs handouts from New York to survive - democrats need to stop enabling republicans.
No compromise, no common ground. Don't be friends with republicans, don't hire republicans, don't shop anywhere that has a Trump sign. Don't fix the opiod crisis, every one that dies is one less Republican stealing your Democrat money. Republicans, the party of stupid, must be defeated anywhere and everywhere their fascist ideology takes hold.
It is true, that some of the poorest states in the USA are run by Republicans.
