Hopefully X-Files turns out great. It'd suck if it got everyone back only for it to not live up to expecations.

That's probably half of my problem, I am expecting more than great, I think anything less than transcendent - what's the point?  At least I felt like they were targeting me when I saw the first still shot from the reboot because it involved flash lights.

Perhaps he's not the hottest and part of me will always think of him as crazy Eddie but I've been watching The Jim Gaffigan Show (ya I don't know why either) and Adam Goldberg has been making me switch from watching tv to inspecting the Internet’s latest skin offerings.

Same goes for Michael Rosenbaum appearing as a gay minister in Impastor (I know why I watch it, makes me chuckle).

Funny thing is the actors are both clearly straight and I don't normally go for that.

I recently experienced a torrent that only had 2 pictures and the Upload Pics was still available but after attempting to upload pics I got an Access Denied screen, thinking something might be wrong on my end I restarted the browser and tried again with the same result.  Tried a different torrent and it was okay so went back to try a third time but got the same Access Denied.

Next day I thought I'll check again but same result.

If someone else has uploaded photos that haven't been approved yet is this what would happen?  That was my conclusion when I tried to Blue's Clues it.

I am no expert but I don't think what your asking is possible.  I think that would involve some alchemy or very dark arts but again I am no expert.

Look at you…Fuller has expressly said he saw horrific Chilton as head of the asylum being a key part of his version of Silence of the Lambs.  I've seen a few out takes from Season 3 and apparently the highlight (only saw a bit of) is Raul Esparza cracking wise in costume.  I'll check my history and see if I can't find that again.

I only ever read The Silence of the Lambs (and that was back in the heady days of my own personal discovery of lysergic acid diethylamide) but I understand Thomas Harris's ending was something of a 'fuck you' to fans.

As for The X-Files, yes this 'mini-series' format may well bring forth greater story telling.  I am 50/50 on it though, part of me is really excited but then there is the other part of me who hasn't even seen the later seasons of what was once an extreme obsession.  The Truth Will Be Out There in January I guess  :blind:

As I said I've read a lot of the interviews Fuller recently gave and so unfortunately I can't cite in which one he mentioned Starz being a logical home now if a mini-series comes out of the Silence of the Lambs arc.  Fuller also said as long as he was alive he would be trying to tell more of his Hannibal story but after what you mentioned regarding Pushing Daisies…

I expect good things from The X-Files return but I have been disappointed by this particular franchise before.  However, with Chris Carter seeing what Vince Gilligan accomplished I am hoping he has been inspired.

As for timing, sure, the whole reason Amazon passed on another season was not getting it soon enough due to American Gods.  From how I understand it piecing together what has been said in this interview or that interview (and there have been plenty) Fuller has separate plans for either a theatrical release or another season.  If it came down to brass tacks all he really needs is the Dane.

Also, interesting little piece of info, X-Files filming ended this week.

I would rate it a 9 out of 10 with the caveat that I haven't watched the finale yet (saving it).

Originally what inspired me to check this out was that I had read about playlists that had been curated for each episode, similar to Halt & Catch Fire.  With Halt just ending, my fondness for eighties electronic music and a curiosity to see what a German/American co-production could produce I decided to check it out.  I have a fear of subtitles but figured because America was involved they would be minimal.

I got hooked right away and didn't notice the constant German beyond the fact that it meant I had to devote all my attention to watching.  None of my usual cruising the web while watching TV but with the lead being so damn pretty my attention was focused anyway.  In fact I also may have found my new boyfriend in one of the secondary characters (Thomas).

As an added bonus there is a great gay subplot with Kaposi's sarcoma rearing it's ugly head.  It is 1983 after all.

Great story telling with this one.

I have to believe there will be more and if there is any justice in this world Gillian Anderson will fund it herself.

It really is a shame that such quality didn't get it's proper due.  I am a complete television junkie especially of late with all the great choices available but Hannibal transcends all that, to me it was more like Kubrick's controlled dreaming.

I only tried using a couple times.

A friend also warned me that he took all the proper precautions and still ended up with urinary tract infections when he used them which scared me off, even though I specifically got the stainless steel ones so I could boil them.

I have also had a catheter a couple times so despite being really intrigued by sounding the memories of my catheter experiences trump that.

Given the time and proper incentive I could find the receipts.  I could also show you the pictures from 2 of my Hawaiian trips that were funded by said receipts, again, if the incentive was there.

I have 2 separate sets of sounds but have never been able to do it and now I have fancy & expensive dust collectors in my tickle trunk.
