    • RE: So called President Trump kicks off re-election campaign with rally in Florida

      @raphjd:

      Puh-lease.

      Not even meth and crack heads believe Trump never did drugs or booze.

      I don't do crack or meth and I will question any one who has been proven to be consistently lying and says something along the lines of "I've never done drugs or alcohol" while they have their own personal cocaine smuggler, their own personal brand of vodka, and had a prescription for speed in 1992 for a medical condition that does not exist.

      There's multiple pictures of him floating around the internet of him holding various glasses of drinks. It really doesn't take much of an imagination to think that he's lying about that as well. I will say that obviously it's not something that's problematic as people would have told the media by now.

      Edit: Oh yeah and Trump Winery.

      Wow…

      I want to be really clear about this: I don't mean this as a joke.

      Trump's immigration policy is political suicide, it's just going to be story after story like this.

      I could easily reword that into a sick joke and that's not what I mean.

      @OklaBalmore:

      @Minerboh80:

      Who is he?

      also my question, but I'm to lazy & don't even care enough to Google 🙂
      Besides, it's more fun to have someone here answer it 😄

      He's a gay man from the UK who likes black men (and is quite vocal about it) who is one the main figures in the alt right movement, which consists of "pro white" minded people, not limited to but including, the KKK, Nazi's, and other far right thinkers.

      He was a writer for Steve Bannon's website Breitbart, which is a great place to visit if you like your "News" with a mix of conspiracies, bullshit, and opinions that only exists because click bait. Here's an example:

      "George Will: Conservatives Will Turn on Trump By Mid-Summer"

      Already happening George.

      Or

      "Retired Women’s Basketball Star Says WNBA Oppresses Heterosexual Players"

      If you've been on the internet for more than a few weeks you should already know not to click it. Don't do it…

      Milo himself wrote or spoke (granted extremely well written) some extremely off-center and borderline insane pieces such as:

      "Cyberbullying Isn’t Real"
      "Master Baiters: The Leftists Keeping America’s Race War Alive"
      "Silicon Valley’s Startup Culture Explains Why Mass Muslim Immigration Must Stop"
      "The Left’s Bloody War on Women: Sending Chicks into Combat Betrays Men, Women and Civilization"
      "Why Equality And Diversity Departments Should Only Hire Rich, Straight White Men"

      I would also like to add that supposedly Breitbart is a "News Organization" and that those would be opinion pieces and not news.

      So it's basically something like what you would imagine; if the National Inquirer was pretending to be Fox News, but it's main focus was liberal bashing instead of UFOs, ghosts, or whatever other bullshit they print.

      I personally read it once in awhile because I think it's funny, but I'm perfectly aware that it's infotainment and not actually a news website.

      DrudgeReport is also pretty bad with this bullshit as well: "Mini horse eating from highchair sparks outrage…" Oh boy, let me click right on that …

      @raphjd:

      Edit: I can't wait for the responses to this, I'm just trying to figure out ahead of time, how this is Obama's fault.

      See, I knew you weren't honest when you claimed to be a conservative in the other thread.

      I haven't heard anyone, even the most conspiracy theory minded, blame Obama for this.  Sounds like liberal paranoia.

      Western morals aren't the morals of the world.  Not everywhere has the same high age of consent.  Usually though, girls tend to have the lowest age of consent compared to boys.

      US soldiers got in trouble, under Obama, for complaining about the boy fucking pedo situation in Afghanistan.  Boys are for pleasure and women are for babies.

      I Read this headline on DrudgeReport today : "Milo backlash latest fault line in conservative civil war…" And I didn't read it because it's a bullshit article. Who cares about that guys opinion?

      You're sitting here telling me political alignment because you don't like what I have to say. Which is hysterical considering we have never met and I'm not impressed by your skills as an "Internet Psychic." You're wrong, not all conservatives support Trump or think that politics is about bashing liberals like you do. Actually, you make the majority of conservatives look bad when you do that.

      That's what you're not getting here. Trump divided conservatives and it's pretty clear were not on the same side. It's very apparent that your version of conservatism is inconsistent with reality.

      I'm not going to write another essay about my conservative values since it's obviously a waste of my time and I can't communicate with you.

      Edit: To me, you're just a random person on the internet. You didn't believe me, I tried to explain, if you still don't believe me, whatever dude, I don't really care. Especially since I'm fairly confident that you don't actually get off your ass and do anything to contribute to the politics in this country besides rant online. Which, uh, that doesn't do anything … And the reason I'm so confident, is because you would have met Marco Rubio / Paul Ryan supporters like myself sooner or later and realized "Wow, the Republican party is made up of different factions, not every single conservative is going to agree with me on every single issue."

      So you know, I'm still upset by how the primary went and I am not happy with the current administration. That doesn't mean I'm a liberal dude ...

      I just about threw my laptop out the window when Trump made his comments about Mccain…

      The fact that I agree with liberals that our president is a fucking idiot, does not make me one…

      @bebekid:

      I have them and my dermatologist prescribed a regime of creams and glycolic acid to help remove them. It's taking a long time, but I see improvements.

      Same, I got really fat in high school. There's laser treatments available as well, a little bit expensive.

      It's impossible to completely get rid of them but you can get them to the point where they are barely noticeable if you are tan. (Note don't tan after laser, they will tell you that…)

      My main solution to this was to do strength training to "look as good as I can."

    • RE: Fat people going to the Gym

      The easiest way to lose weight is "not to go on a diet". I know this sounds really counter-intuitive, it's not that you won't be restricting what you eat, but you shouldn't try to lose weight by not eating enough. From experience, there's no reason to and diets are more difficult than they need to be.

      Use a calorie calculator such as http://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html
      Put your age/height/weight in and pick Sedentary - little to no exercise
      Check the number for "You need XXXX Calories/day to maintain your weight."

      Now, cut down any on sources of extremely unhealthy foods, mainly refined sugar and alcohol. You can still drink here and there but try to stick to light beer and keep it minimal.

      But the plan is to eat the amount of calories you need to maintain your weight, for a sedentary life style.

      Then add exercise, preferably daily, but alternating routines daily. The idea here is to do what you can and like to do.

      As an example: do a body weight/strength training routine mon/wens/fri (avoid legs) and ride an exercise bike or go for an hour walk sun/tues/thurs/sat. It shouldn't be a hardcore routine, something basic that you enjoy doing. Avoid long ab routines as they are not very effective at burning calories. If you want to develop your abs, that's fine, but it's not really a "work out."

      There's a whole bunch of weight loss routines available for free on Youtube. Just type "XX minute workout"

      As you lose weight, reduce calories as per the calculator.

      Pros:
      If you decide not to work out, you shouldn't gain weight. So, if you don't feel good for a week and don't workout, just don't eat more.

      If you decide to eat a bit more, try not to get into the habit, but exercise a bit more to cover the extra calories.

      It's really easy, you shouldn't feel like it's hard at all. It may be less than you are used to eating, but you shouldn't get that "worn out" feeling.

      It's much harder to regain the weight because now you have to break two separate healthy habits.

      If you get motivated, you can lose weight by eating a little bit less, or working out a bit harder, it's really flexible.

      Cons:
      It can be slow. But if you know anything about weight loss, any time it's fast, usually you gain it back just as fast, or it's mainly water weight.

      You have to count calories and you should try to avoid eating foods where you can't really figure out how many calories you are consuming.
      This kind of sucks around the holidays.

      If it's going too slow you may have to cut calories down a bit more, so you need to weight yourself daily and track the results.

      Note: This is basically what body builders do to cut fat, granted they probably eat a bit more since they usually work out a lot and their diet will be really specific.

      LOL, if you don't care about anything being discussed, then why are you in the thread?   A bit odd, don't you think.

      Umm, we discussed that NYC law, as well as Canada's C-16 law in another thread.

      So to be clear, you don't pay attention because you don't care, but you feel the need to tell me off for caring and paying attention.  That says you are either a liar or you are too concerned about me.  Maybe I need to go into hiding.

      Sigh lost my reply. Oh well. Not retyping it. I'll keep it short.

    • RE: Milo Yiannopoulos resigns from Breitbart

      @TheNewt:

      How did he become so popular to begin with?

      Uh, By saying things that were pretty far out there. I think his popularity spiked when he got banned off twitter. I personally never heard of him until I read that.

      @Eridanos:

      Speaking of which…the Clintons and the Bushs (Bushes?) are still active because in one form or the other they are political families.  Will the Obamas take a backseat and chill out from politics after their time in the White House?

      Actually, what do former U.S Presidents do?

      They generally become spokesmen for fellow politicians in their party. There's no rule that says they can't run for office, they just can't be president again. I'm not really sure why they would want to, it's like owning a restaurant and then becoming a waiter at another restaurant, it just kind of seems below you, especially in politics. So they end up as an advisor to the party type of role and do things like speeches. Sometimes they end up in leadership roles at large companies.

      After being president or being involved in a presidential election, I would assume they would take a vacation, I'm sure it's extremely stressful. Romney was looking pretty bad there for awhile. He basically went into hiding and people kept finding him at random places like Costco, looking like he just woke up from a long session of binge drinking.

      @raphjd:

      Obama was President when he said that shit.

      I can't say that I've watched/read those sites, but nice try though.

      I'm fully aware that the election is over.  It doesn't mean that the left isn't still doing ignorant shit all over the western world.

      Talcum X was hired by TYT after the election and they still maintain that he's actually black, despite the fact that it's been well proven that he's not.  They maintain all of his lies, despite all of the evidence to prove he's nothing but a liar.

      TYT still officially deny, due to Cenk being from Turkey, that the Armenian genocide happened.

      CNN, like most of the media, massively downplayed the kidnapping in Chicago.  We know they would have lost their shit if the races were reversed.  Except for the local FOX station and what the left call "fake news" sites, the story was ignored for the first 2 days.

      It's still the law that if if Elliot Cope walks into a business in NYC and they call her a girl, even though she is a girl and presents as a girl but insists she's a boy, the business will get fined $125,000 for ACCIDENTALLY getting her personal pronouns wrong.  This type of shit law is coming to other places in the west.

      In another thread, I'm being called a racist solely based on the fact that I pointed out that a black Congressman lied.  I didn't comment on what happened 50 years ago, just something that happened a few months ago.  That is enough to be called a racist.

      No idea about Milo.  I only saw that his book deal was killed, but didn't read the article.

      Lena Dunham bragged in her book that she used to molester her younger sister.

      You're getting the bullshit from somewhere. Who the fuck is Talcum X? When I google it, I get more results for baby powder. Okay so it's a dude who looks white to me, pretending to be black. Why the fuck do you care? What the hell does this have to do with anything? Why do you care about a Youtube channel? Anybody can go make a Youtube channel dude … #1 channel is a guy that makes weird noises and plays video games ... There's channels about ghosts and aliens and all sorts of other bullshit ...

      As far as the main stream media filtering news to meet their agenda... Why does this bother you? Is this new to you or something? You're acting offended that the media doesn't run every story. You know, people and companies pay money to influence what is shown on the news... Not directly because there are laws regarding the amount of time that is allowed to be commercial compared to the amount of content. But, if I wanted to spread awareness about solar energy, but not directly dictate the content, there are agencies that specialize in that.

      Same deal with the Chicago kidnapping story... Me personally, I read a headline like "Four Teens Held in Connection With Kidnapping After ‘Facebook Live’ Torture Video Airs" and think to myself "There's 300 plus million people in the country, do I really care about somebody getting kidnapped, an event that occurs every day? No... I don't." I can see why some super pac thought that story was a big deal and I'm sure there were dozens of PR specialists going into panic mode to get that story to run in the news.

      No idea about that law in NY, sounds like a bad law if that's true.

      @raphjd:

      I guess you either believe the gender wage gap exists, or you haven't paid attention to what the (now former) President says.    He's also spewed many other feminist lies like the college rape lies.

      Let's not forget how Obama race baited black deaths when if fact they were "clean kills" like Michael Brown in Ferguson.

      It seems even "conservatives" are far left leaning now-a-days.

      So who are the "good feminists" who marched on Washington?  Was it the celebs with their bullshit rants or the crowd who cheered for them?

      Fucking hell.  We have an internet shrink and "patriarchy" screamer.  Says it all.

      Dude Obama isn't the president anymore…

      I'm really serious about this: You need like 30 days of snopes.com rehab. At the very least, stop listening to the opinion's of people who's job it is to entertain you.

      It sounds like you are caught up really badly in the drudgereport.com / breitbart.com / infowars.com camp of bullshit infotainment.

      Republicans control the house, the senate, and the presidency and you're rambling on about Obama and feminists…

      I highly recommend you de-warp your brain, the election is over.

      This ultra partisan garbage has lead you to believe that relatively normal people are now "left leaning" … No, I'm perfectly aware of reality, thank you. But, I think you may have gotten off track ...

      Scientists and biologists have studied childbirth for years, they know that as soon as an egg is fertilized, a sequence of events occurs that leads to a person being born. This process starts at the moment of conception, a new unique DNA sequence is formed almost instantaneously. The pro abortion camp has created this false reality where, "They have a right to murder a person to protect their reproductive organ rights." Okay ... Uh ... Nobody is telling women they can't use their reproductive organs ... There are no mandatory sterilization policies in the US... That line of thought is bullshit ...

      I've already discussed my feelings on both legal and illegal immigration and I'll reiterate: If people want job growth in 10 years, you either need to be pro regulation and for the restriction of automation, or against all immigration, at least until the real unemployment rate is ideally around 2%. This crap where companies import skilled workers just hurts Americans and saves the corporations money. According to the law, they have to pay the same amount as an American worker, but the problem is, that worker doesn't exist in America, so the company would be forced to hire multiple specialists or train new employees. Also, the wall is fucking stupid...

      Many people do not understand basic economics, the government needs to cut spending and balance the budget. This used to be an issue that the Republicans used to be for, but I'm not sure if that's the case with this administration. If the US wants to be "Great Again" then the government needs to cut spending and keep the value of the US dollar high and put policies in place to decrease (or manage) inflation so the money you earn today will worth something in 25 years... The US wasted an astronomical amount of money to go fight the boogeyman in Iraq, it's not over, and we caused more problems that we solved (none)...

      I'm also for protecting religious freedoms (even thought I think religion is bullshit), but the way the current bill is worded, it doesn't do that, it allows people who believe one or more of 3,000 different religions to arbitrarily discriminate against other people. In this country there is separation of church and state, operating a business relies upon entering an agreement with the government and obtaining a business license and potentially incorporating. (And to be fair if you have not done this, you are a second class citizen in the US.) So the current bill is dramatically blurring the lines of that separation, it doesn't make sense, and it's not even really effective at what it's suppose to do, protecting religious freedoms ... (Not to mention, exercising those religious freedom rights, would be totally counterproductive to the goals of the business.)

      As far as energy goes, I'm 100% for completely eliminating the need for foreign oil. Democrats will say that it's bad for the environment and we need to move away from oil altogether, but the reality is, none of that noise does anything to reduce demand. So, somebody is going to drill it, it might as well be the US, so we can stop being held hostage by the oil cartels. But as far as bringing coal back ... You have to be kidding me... It's not happening. The market changed, solar is now cheaper than natural gas and much cheaper than coal, but the problem is limited production infrastructure (read: the robotic assembly lines are still being built.) No big investor is going to pump money into coal, it just isn't financially wise.

      As far as global warming is concerned, I'm not a climate change scientist but I prefer not to breath smog, because it kills people. The US has already done enormous work to reduce air pollution and the alarmists will always forget to mention the scientific fact that water reacts with carbon dioxide, effectively removing carbon from the air. So, if people are concerned about Global Warming, great, I don't want to breath smog, and I know there's countries out there who seem to think it's healthy or something... The climate change alarmists need to get countries like China and India to clean up their act. When those countries are doing their part, if the scientists feel like that's not enough, I'll listen to their points when the time arises. But the US government forcing businesses to spend trillions of dollars to go green, makes no sense when the air is unbreathable in China. Emissions are up 400% in China over the past 15 years (doubling US emissions) and now the alarmists are screaming again, I think it's kind of obvious what the problem is. Send them to the country that produces 30% of the global emissions ...

      Edit: Also, I didn't read it because I don't care, but apparently Milo is a pedo, or pro pedo, or something, and he should go home now.

      @YoungGun:

      Good feminists protested peacefully in Washington, work to educate the populace on feminist issues, act as living examples of the world they want to create, etc.  Your inability to even "see," care, understand them, or acknowledge all the hard work they put in (which is resisted by a patriarchal system, the woefully ignorant, and the selfishly entitled) is actually the issue.  But nothing is your fault of course.  Everything bad happens due to the left!1!!1!

      An excellent observation, it's a free country, if an ideological group wants to do that, good for them. I always encourage people to exercise their rights.

      But the issue is actually, will their efforts make an impact. Some people will just deny reality rather than make an effort to understand.

      Contrary to the belief of some, you can understand an issue and not agree with it. But you will look like an idiot if you attempt to argue the point, with out understanding the issue and there's a pretty clear case of that going on in this thread.

      Alright dude, let's hear about how Obama race baited the BLM and was spewing feminist lies…

      You're spewing Alex Jones / Breitbart / Alt Right crap now...

      This line of conversation might work offline, but we are on the internet, we can just Google it.

      You're just parroting the opinions of far-right writers. You seem to lack the ability of absorb information in an objective manner. You are not reading an opinion piece and asking yourself "Do I Agree With this Person's Opinion? Yes or No?" You are parroting their opinion as fact and seem to expect other people to know somebody else's opinion.

      I consider myself to be pretty conservative, and I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

      @raphjd:

      It's the left that ignores homeless men, while complaining that nothing is being done for homeless women.  This despite claiming to be feminists, which is supposed to mean gender equality.

      Seriously, what the hell are you talking about? I think you need to read up on the subject of political science, you are all over the place with generalizations, and are conflating the issues of different groups. You, over simplifying the issues, is likely due to your own lack of understanding of the subject. Being a feminist does not necessarily mean that a person is a liberal voter. You can most certainly be a feminist and a conservative…

      Is he unable to memorise things what he saw on media one day ago? more: should a president of a nation have more reliable sources for information, and at least have checked for truthfulness what he sais, on a googlable level?
      sorry i am bit confused here….

      Warning Signs of Dementia:

      Subtle short-term memory changes : Immigration Policy Changes Multiple Times Daily During Campaign. Mixing events / locations / dates when speaking, such as #PrayForSweden

      Difficulty finding the right words : "I know words, I have the best words." Don't get me started on his continuous river of word salad.

      Changes in mood : The value of his brand changes based upon his mood. Multiple reports from campaign and from WH reporting angry Trump. Mike Flynn.

      Apathy : He's a complete narcissist… He doesn't care about anybody but himself and his money... Should be obvious...

      Difficulty completing normal tasks : Couldn't find light switch in whitehouse so had discussion in the dark. (Which was reported to be next to the door.)

      Confusion : Basically every time he speaks #FakeNews

      Difficulty following storylines : Basically every time he speaks. Leaks reveal that he basically has to be spoon fed tidbits of information.

      A failing sense of direction : Hard to tell since he gets chauffeured around everywhere.

      Being repetitive : Every time he speaks. He's back to campaigning as well... Can't seem to stop going to the Mar-a-Lago every weekend.

      Struggling to adapt to change : This seems to be the entire theme of the presidency.

      "In addition to difficulty remembering, the person may also experience impairments in:"

      Language - He makes up words and speaks gibberish...

      Communication - I believe I covered that above. He can't seem to process information unless it's being fed to him in tiny tidbits. His attacks on the media are pretty clearly an issue as well. He won't even let them ask questions and tells them to sit down if the question is too complex or requires too complex of an answer.

      Focus - Weren't we suppose to be making America great again? Can anybody even tell me one thing the guy has successfully done he said he would do? Edit: That Matters, I can see the WAPO campaign promise tracker...

      Reasoning - Don't even get me started. Build a Wall? Cruz father Kennedy assassination conspiracy... I would be here for days listing the issues.

      Well it's that time again…....actually it's not but so called President Trump thinks it is as he kicked his 2020 Presidential campaign today at a rally in Florida.  This is a man who is just clearly addicted to the adrenaline of these rallies and has very little interest in actually being President.

      I believe the problem here is that so called President Trump has never done drank or done drugs.  Now at the age of 70 he has discovered his drug of choice......large crowds cheering him.  If this man had just done some blow in the 80's like all of the other rich white guys in New York we wouldn't be in this mess.

      Either that or it's the farewell tour.

      You believe his comments about drinking and drugs? LMAO… Scammed again...

      @TheNewt:

      Those countries do not hate the United States, and when I asked my friends what they thought about how the United States' media claims that Russians hacked the elections, and that Trump is connected to Russia, etc. they just laughed at this.

      Dude, you can't be serious…

      I'm not going to argue either way here, but who the hell cares about the opinion of a random person?

      This is like asking a bum on the street about stock trading strategies... How the hell would they know?

      @aadam101:

      She has been banned from Morning Joe now too.  I haven't seen her on TV much this week.  I would hope the Trump administration is smart enough to never let Stephen Miller on TV again.

      And get who? Alex Jones?

      Edit: I was going to say, at some point the Republicans might want to reconsider their pro assault rifle stance. You know, liberals can buy them too …

      The truly wealthy (the 1%) don't know what work is other than a game of competitive tennis and tire easily

      Oh, come on now, be fair… There's 1%'ers who started out in their garage... Most American Billionaires are self made... https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/269593

      Also, the ability to "Go Play Tennis" is an important concept in big business called "Sustainability." If you own a company and you employee 10,000 people, you run the show and there's no board/upper management level, and you unfortunately die. Now what? 10,000 people lose their jobs? It's critically important that the ownership and leadership are not the weakest links… Also, for many people who do end up getting wealthy, at some point in their journey, they've made their dreams reality, what are they suppose to do? Fire everybody and call it a day? So they built a company, they can't go play golf when they want to?...

      @raphjd:

      Unlike Nixon, who faced both Houses of Democrats, Trump will face both Houses of Republicans.

      Well, if the rumors are true, which to me, it's starting to seem likely they are, Trump could face a judge and a possibly a prison cell.

      Edit: Don't think it isn't possible, Christie could be going to prison for far less. http://nypost.com/2017/02/16/judge-finds-probable-cause-to-charge-christie-over-bridgegate/

      I also think that you're forgetting that many Republicans already turned on him prior to the election. I'm 100% confident that if the actual Republicans (Remember: Donald was once a Democrat) ever perceive Donald to be a threat to the party, they will quickly eject him. They have plenty of reasons already and I foresee a power struggle either way. It wouldn't be hard to catch the guy lying under oath as I don't think he's capable of separating fantasy from reality.

      At this point, not much would surprise me.
