Not quite apples-to-apples, but I was just recently warned by my Dr to drastically reduce my caffeine intake - as it's affecting my heart rhythm! I don't want to die, so I'm doing just that - and it's very difficult! I love my coffee, and I get rather irritable without it... but I'd rather be irritable than dead, so I muddle through it...

I am sorry this woman has passed at such a young age. I appreciate her devotion to maintaining a positive self-image in spite of her weight (and sharing that with others)... but I am also sorry she wasn't able to do enough health-wise to prevent this tragic ending.

I suspect an apology may come from Kinzinger's office soon - like most other politicians, his twitter account is "administered" by staff, and not himself personally. (Same was true of Trump - and I defended him when Dems tried to make hay out of his tweets, although you could tell that Trump himself did write some of his own tweets - mostly the ones with speeling, grammur, and referee errors LOL)

Justice Thomas notoriously does not believe in the Incorporation Doctrine, i.e., the judicially created legal framework that interprets the 5th and 14th Amendments as having incorporated the Bill of Rights against the states. It is why he so often concurs with the results reached by the Conservative majority, but does not agree with their reasoning.

As for believing gay should be illegal, he dissented in Lawrence v. Texas which struck down anti-gay sodomy laws (previously upheld by the SCOTUS in Bowers v. Hardwick).

As I've suggested you should do in these cases, look for the LOCAL COVERAGE

The attack happened in a Florida Rec Center - an after school program near their Middle School (not in the school) 2 of the 5 children who were arrested were actually white the attack was clearly and obviously racially motivated, but contrary to some reports, there was no specific mention of "slavery" or "1700" - instead, it was shouted "this is opposite day" and "you're white" and "brown power" all 5 children are between the ages of 11 and 15 (15 would be rather old for a Middle School in Florida - but only by about a year or two) all 5 do attend a nearby Middle School - and parents from both sets (victims and perpetrators in this instance) report that bullying is common in the school, and that the school does little to nothing to stop it. Contrary to other reports, all 5 were charged with misdemeanors (common for "scuffles" between children), but the local DA is reviewing the case - there is a potential that they could still be labeled "hate crimes", which would make the charges felonies. In Fla, this is the normal course of action - arresting officers do not make the decision on whether to charge as a "hate crime". The whole event lasted only a few seconds & no one was seriously injured (at least not physically). The 5 children charged have been prohibited from returning to school pending a separate school investigation.

BTW: At least as-of today, the video of the reporter (who interviewed 1 parent of an attacker and 1 parent of a victim) is followed online by a story about a dude who whipped out his junk in a Starbucks in Miami and started following these girls around....literally beating off while walking behind them! The girls took videos while the store called 9-1-1...
