For ages, I have seen "as a gay man you must agree with me"  "as a gay man you must hate this/that"  etc, etc, etc, etc

I first remember seeing this when Bill Clinton gave us the 2 most homophobic laws in US history.    HRC, GLAAD and the rest of the leftist fag groups told us that we must worship Bill for being so generous to us.

It constantly happened by everyone and their brother.  On a politics site, a fellow gay guy constantly demanded that I had to agree with him because I too was gay.

Fast forward to last week;

Fag groups/orgs were posting on social media that because I was part of the LGBTQOOHIO:LGKJHV:KJGK>JGLK>JGK>J  community that I had to hate Tucker Carlson.

I replied that "as a gay man" that I like Tucker and don't find him to be a hate monger.

Ok, here's the new bit.

Apparently, it's forbidden for me (anyone really) to use "as a gay man" or whatever to justify/qualify my stance.

I'm gay and I do not find Tucker to be homophobic.

So others can demand that I must do something (hate Tucker, in this case) because I'm gay, but I can't say "as a gay man, I don't find Tucker to be a homophobe".

Anyway, the toughest job is always dealing with people and trying to convince them of something, if they have something else in their heads.

One example is when I was QCing a software package.  The workflow was all crap, but the software looked nice.  The devs refused to move the buttons and whatnot to make the workflow actually flow because they spent ages making it look all nice and shiny as it was.  Anyway, the company put out the crap so it could come out right away, but did all the fixes I said over the next year.

In the UK, it used to be that a sperm donor was protected from liability for kids born of his donated spunk.

SIDE NOTE:

In the UK, a married woman 's child is legally the husband's, even when it's blatantly obvious that the kid isn't his.  If the father wants a paternity test, he has to get the mother's permission or a court order.  At that point, he loses the rights to the child but retains all of the responsibilities.  Despite paternity tests being legally binding, judges can reject them "for the good of the child" and ban the child from being told he/she is not the father's child.

Several countries in Europe (Germany, France, etc) have made it illegal to do paternity tests.    They say it's to protect the family unit, but it really protects the mother from being outed as a whore.

Please be clear on this ruling.  It's not completely what the headline says.

The ruling says that the University (or other non-church bodies) CAN NOT force people into violating their own human rights, even on religious affiliation.

The ruling DOES NOT apply to direct church affiliation.

In other words, churches can hang signs saying "no fags allowed" but church-owned businesses can't.

The UK has a breast cancer screening program for women, despite the 52% false positive rate.
