IMHO the way you ask for re-seed is what it should be. When we get complains about frequent repeated requests in short time by the same requester, it is what I advise him to do in future (as a first friendly step of Moderator action).

With the high minimum ratio requirements here, I am quite sure that everyone who got the file and knows how to re-seed will do it. However not every member is looking here each day.

Requesters should keep in mind that they send up to 120 PMs out to members they don't know, a kind of "Spam" in some members eyes.

Anonymous members are either Power User, who have chosen strong privacy level in their Profile or higher (read Moderators, Retired Moderators, Administrators, etc …)

Sometimes the Staff members may send Re-seed requests, to see of a torrent is definitely dead. Not all can leech immediately or at all (a question of bandwidth and ratio, I don't mean me). Sorry for that, but you will know it by the requesters name.

C'est relativement simple:

1/ Retéléchargez le fichier .torrent de la déscription sur GayTorrent.ru
2/ Quand vous l'ouvrez, µTorrent va demander [1] ou stocker le fichier, digérez le vers le fichier film que vous avez
3/ Quand le torrent démarre, µTorrent va alors trouver le fichier, vérifier et si complète commence le distribuer (seeder)

Si µTorrent commence à télécharger, arrêtez toute suite, soit il ne trouve pas le fichier ou il ne corresponds pas

par contre ce vision doit être complétée:

A/ Ce qui concerne des torrents pour des fichiers de qualité mauvaise, if faut d'arrêter de les seeder, si possible en vue de son ratio de partage. Si tous le monde le fait, ils vont "mourir" et disparaitre de la base.

S'il y a vraiment des défauts technique de qualité, e.g. sauts d'images, interruptions du son, vous pouvez avertir l'équipe de GayTorrent.ru avec la fonction de "Report"

Attention, qualité mauvaise ne veut pas dire un film que vous avez pas aimé. Les goûts sont différents.

B/ Les fichiers des quels torrents seeder: Pour faire simple, tous ces que vous avez.

Bien sur pas tous avec un transfert des données à la fois, chaque un ira minuscule. Par exemple dans µTorrent / BitTorrent garder la réglage de nombre des torrents actifs en upload et download selon la vitesse d'upload de votre connexion internet (typiquement 3 à 8 en ADSL2+), mais démarrer tous les torrents. µTorrent/BitTorrent va décider toute seule intelligemment quel uploader activement.

Quand vous garder les torrents, vous allez vous apercevoir que des vieux sans leecher, de temps en temps sont téléchargé et que vous faites des bon uploads. Mais il faut avoir se fait un ratio que en peut attendre.

Il en a quelques:

• La possibilité de changer le niveau de privativité  à élevé ou forte (comme moi)
• L'accès au téléchargement des torrents pour des films on format DVD Vidéo (catégorie DVD-R)
• Possibilité de télécharger plus des torrents à la fois (http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/rules.php#96)
• La possibilité d'envoyer des invitations à des amis pour un enregistrement en dehors des jours libre

Et bien sur, c'est une sorte de reconnaissance des membres qui partage bien.

If the small movies are really as good as you say and of some kind of common theme orr have things in common with some of your other bigger files, you can put them into a "Collection" (a torrent created from a folder containing multiple clips).

Please start reading the FAQ about collections and from there the link to the special rules about them.

I see you have uploaded two torrents, however you are not appearing to seed them (at least connected to our tracker).
Make sure you use the small .torrent file re-downloaded from GayTorrent.ru (not the movie file, those you got and don't need to download).
Only that small torrent file works to connect to our tracker and get the torrent reviewed when seen seeded and finally approved.

Well, I use a Windows Vista x64 and Image Grabber II works very nicely on it …. Attention, what I use is the non .NET version:

Which is the case for the two of the couple above the moment he's changing the account used. That's why I mentioned it and advised to contact a Moderator, so that we can make an individual treatment of the case.

The important thing to take attention to are the increased minimum ratio steps, it can be that the stats combined account gets a minimum ratio above it's ratio, while before the two individual accounts were above their minimum ratio requirements.

Using only one of the two accounts won't work, the one of you two who changes the use of account will trigger the "ban" of both.

I suggest in such case, you contact a Moderator (e.g. amice) to find a special private solution.

What you see on your Profile page for each torrent and on the peer list in the torrent description are only the last seeding session amounts, while µTorrents is accumulating all the data seeded or leeched since you first loaded the torrent into it.
The global upload and download amount on your Profile page is accumulating all the torrents and all the seeding sessions.

Then the discrepancy between µTorrent GayTorrent.ru torrents amounts added up and your Profile global amounts can come from inproper stop of the torrents and/or µTorrent (e.g. just shutting down µTorrent without upon stopping the torrents and waiting a minute or so) making loosing the update since last update (every 30 minutes). Stopping the torrent forces such update out of schedule. Lost connection (e.g. WiFi) may result in loss of updates to the tracker, too.

Well, you can't download from other members data (movies, music, pictures …) but even with suspended download rights, you can still download from GayTorrent.ru the small .torrent files of the completed downloads or own uploaded torrents listed in tour Profile.

The trick is to let Transmission "know" where you've got the data files.

Two basic was:
a) You place the data (movie, …) into Transmissions download folder
b) You change the download target location to your dat file's location

You may need to make a re-check.

When Transmission finds the data, it will not download, but check and if 100% matching, start the seeding (upload).

Our tracker got scrape switched off. Therefore that error message is normal for all torrents being Queued (i.e. not "Downloading" or "Seeding"). You need just to change the settings as in the below instructions marked blue.

Here another short Guide, assuming you know to create a torrent with Vuze/Azureus already.

Make the following setting in Vuze/Azureus > "Tools" > "Options" > "Files" > uncheck " Automatically download files to the default directory (no prompt)". This setting is usefull at the steps which follow.

Do not load the torrent you've created into Vuze/Azureus ! <– part of your trouble comes from the fact that you load the created torrent automatically after creation, see the original and 3rd post of this topic.
Just upload it to GayTorrent.ru via the "Upload" in the blue band and then:

1/ After you upload the torrent file, you need to get it back downloaded from GayTorrent.ru. (only the small torrent).

2/ Open the re-downloaded torrent with Vuze/Azureus and it shall show a small window to confirm or change the download location (see above preparation setting). Use there the browse button and navigate to your movie file location. Save that as the target download.

3/ Do a "Force Recheck" (right click on the torrent in the library), Vuze/Azureus should find the file and check it to 100%

4/ Start the torrent, it should go to seeding.

If Vuze/Azureus doesn't keep seeding, the setting of Azureus/Vuze are wrong, use these:

Tools > Options > Queue -> Seeding  > First Priority > A share ratio under [1:1], set the rest to ignore and uncheck Torrents with 0 Peers

and

Tools > Options > Queue > Seeding > Ignore Rules > uncheck Ignore torrents with 0 peers

Well …

Regular original torrent uploader should not need the seed bonus points for ratio keeping, however of course they merit them. They just should not beg for them as they were the poorest of the world, e.g. by putting:

SEED BONUS HIGHLY APPRECIATED. THANKS!

or worse seen in the first line of the torrent description, then visible in the list, too (instead of the start of the description of the upload content).

Actually original torrent uploader are rich by what they offer all of us  :hug: and need our love.

and as I said they can put it at the end of the description in not capital letters or a comment (which will reveal their share ratio and seed bonus account  >:D )

Did you do the "Advanced" > "Set Download Loacation…" > navigate to the file > "Save"?
Then do a "Force Re-check" and if 100% status "Finished", re-start it

That button is active only on torrents which are STOPPED. So stop it.

Dear Original Torrent Uploader,

Though we do not have (yet) a rule about asking and thanking for seed bonus points, I'd like to remind our dear members and here especially the so much loved original uploaders (torrent posters), that the torrents got a Description box and not a seed bonus points begging box.

As well general customs on forums on the web find ALL CAPITAL LETTERS writting impolite and as yelling, shouting or crying. Therefore it should be avoided, except to highlight a single word. I think we have a rule about this …

Therefore, please do not ask or thank for seed bonus points on the top of the description and/or in all capital letters.
Please place, if you really think to need to do, a thank you for seed bonus points at the very bottom of the description only.
You can as well use the comments to thank for received seed bonus points.

There are some basics to understand:

A/ With most internet accesses the download rate is much higher than the upload. This can only be compensated by seeding longer (without downloading, about 10x) or limiting the download rate in the torrent client programme

B/ It does not help to set it's torrent client programmes upload rate higher than 80% of your real internet access upload. In opposite. Nevertheless, make sure it is set to the 80% (or less if there are other P2P programmes sharing the access, the total of the  setting should amount to 80%)

C/ The torrent selection impacts the upload. Many leecher and few seeder are good for upload, the opposite bad. The ratio is important not the absolute numbers. You could try to "surf the wave" as a member expressed, i.e. jumping very early on new torrents you like, others shall join and you seed to them

D/ Re-seeding (read restarting seeding) old torrents left by most seeder and having from time to time a downloader helps to keep ratio, too.

E/ Best is of course to upload a torrent for something missing here. Just keep the upload process in mind:

1/ Gather together the movie file, description and pictures of what is liked to upload a torrent
2/ Create a torrent from the file (or folder) you like to share. Use the built-in utility of the torrent client programme (e.g. µTorrent)
3/ Click "Upload" in the blue band on top, read carefully and choose "I have read and understood" on the bottom
4/ Fill in the web form. Each step got advise what to fill, at the end hit "Do it!"
5/ You will be lead to the description page. There re-Download the small Torrent file
6/ When you open the torrent, it shows likely a window with the download location, set it to your movie file loaction alternatively put the fie (or folder) into the default download location of the torrent programme before you open the torrent
7/ Start the torrent, keep seeding it, though no data traffic and wait for approval.
