If you see that, the Staff will be happy to delete the pictures not relevant for the torrent. Indicate which, numbering from the last (indicate you count that way).

Actually, I don't think it's so much that the pictures aren't relevant.  It's just that they totally change the original presentation of the pictures.  They way they stack now, the last ones added appear first, and the first show last.  So, depending on how many pics are added, the original upload pics will end up at the end, with new pics in the top left order.

I can understand andy32's point.  When I upload a torrent, I load the pics so that the first they see, from left to right, is the box cover, followed by scene grabs from tlavideo and aebn.net.

I know geographer said it's on the "to do" list.  And in reality, I can see where the site owner might not consider it as important as say, if pics weren't appearing at all, which I'm sure would be a priority.

I think two things need to be remembered here.  First and foremost, we're talking about a free site here.  While it's great that uploaders put thought and effort into the presentation to their torrent uploads, pics, descriptions, tags, etc, (as I do), I doubt it changes anyone's mind as to whether they'll download a particular file because of the arrangement of the preview pics.

And secondly, if other users are adding pics, those MAY cause someone to download a torrent that they might not have, especially if they see something in one of those pics that is particularly appealing.

For me, I'm sticking with the "Free is good" motto, and I can live with the fact that my upload may not be the same after I present it.

I can say, quite honestly, that if the info were required, chances are real good that none of the 25 torrents I uploaded so far on this site (in the 7 months since I've joined), would have been uploaded…at least not by me.  (But that doesn't mean I don't put a lot of effort into my uploads, with descriptions, pics, links, tags, etc., which has earned me auto-approval (and no warnings.)

Sure, you're gonna get the occasional "less than stellar" video quality.  But as someone who has approximately 7 TB of porn, including thousands (probably more like tens of thousands) of full videos, clips (short and long), full DVD rips, etc I'd say the number of bad downloads aren't even a blip on my radar.  Hell, I'm more incensed about seeing condoms in a video categorized as "bareback".  Again, that's just me.

Adding "jump on seeding" as a rule is really a tough situation.  Why you ask?

Scenario 1:
What if an uploader is just sharing something I uploaded to another torrent tracker and I happen to come across it here on GTRU.  I did all the hard work of creating the torrent so why should he/she get all the seeding credit here?

I guess that scenario brings up an equally important question in reverse.  Have you ever downloaded anything from another tracker here and shared it elsewhere or, downloaded from another tracker and shared it here?

I will readily admit I'm guilty of both.  And I've a good feeling, that isn't such a small club.  What I do now is, I'll create two torrents, one for here and one for the other tracker.  I launch one on either tracker and, as soon as I have leeches, I launch the second on the other tracker and seed both using the same file.  (For the record, I use a seedbox, so speed and output don't pose problems seeding the same file on two torrents.)

Lastly, I said this in another thread.  In all honesty, before I even used a seedbox, I used to welcome jump on seeding (for torrents that I launched) as it meant more people got the videos quicker.  But that's just my personal opinion.

Luckily, I have no need for either.  I started using a seedbox months ago and have been thrilled with the results.

• or you use a bad torrent client, here I think especially to Thunder (sorry don't know it's Chinese name)

Actually UWE, I think he meant (or at least I thought he meant) what is considered "ratio cheating"?  Not that I want to know how to do it (my ratio is not a problem).  I was just wondering what acts are considered "ratio cheating".

Hi,

Will they be adding the Tracker menu back to the top of the Forums page?  (Or am I not seeing it somewhere else on the page?).  Currently, it looks like the only way to get back to the Tracker is to either manually enter the URL or to back page (with the exception of if I had opened the Forums page in a new tab).

Normally, we frown upon the use of a proxy, however in your case, it is clear that there is no choice in the matter. I have made an adjustment to your account to ensure that during this period, your account will not be affected should you use a proxy to be able to connect.

Why would you frown on someone using a proxy, especially with so many people being snagged by studios and copyright trolls nowadays>

I never even look at the ratings when making my decision to download.  I look at the pics, and if they look good, I'll look for further info from tlavideo.com and aebn.net.  In fact, I can't recall if I've even noticed the ratings.

Like they say, "Opinions are like assholes.  Everyone has one."

Same goes for a news forum I belong to where you can rate with "thumbs up" or "thumbs down".  I never look at the thumbs.  If someone doesn't like my post, if they don't have the nads to address it specifically, it means nothing to me.

Maybe that could be a suggestion with the rating system.  Something like, in order to rate, you have to post a comment saying what you didn't like about the vid.  If they just post something stupid like "It sucked", then I wouldn't give that opinion any value.  But if they post something specific, at least the original seeder would be able to see if what they were saying is true.

Just a thought.

To be fair though, I have snatched some Russian,French and German language torrents. I often have to turn the sound down because not understanding the dialog between sex scenes impedes on my "happy time". So I do understand why you asked the question.

I hear ya.  Many times I wish there were subtitles, but then I think "What makes me so special as an English speaker?"  If they had to provide subtitles for every language, they'd have to charge us so much more for the extra effort.  Oh…wait....  ;D

But seriously, I doubt many of the ones made in America provide French, Spanish, Russian, etc subtitles.

Of the 5, I prefer picture #2 as well.  I really don't care about font size, spacing, etc.  Anyway, I just broke the three-way tie with the (whopping) 10th vote in the poll.  More proof that very few of us actually visit the forums.

I tried grabbing screen shots from a couple of movies like "Plantin' Seed 3" or "Asses Full of Cum", but when I reduced them to 80 x 80, they were virtually undecipherable.  Unfortunately, I'm not very talented when it comes to graphics.

But back to my original question.  I can't see any difference between 1, 3, 4, and 5.  What am I missing.
