    • RE: Threesomes

      My experience with a threesome is that someone is usually apt to feel somehow left out.  Lets start with what would happen with two bottoms.  If the single top gets off while fucking the first guy, then second guy is likely to feel cheated.  (Yes, this has happened with a 4 some I was part of after the fourth decided to take off early…)

      It would be interesting to do some of the more acrobatic moves (a double penetration for example) but my experience is that sort of thing barely works in the fantasy land of porn and probably won't work well in the reality of your bedroom...

    • RE: 19 years old and so confused - Need some advices

      Hey, welcome to the site 🙂

      I think its normal to be confused at this stage in the process.  Don't beat yourself up over it.  You're actually further ahead of some people in that you've already had a sexual experience and liked it.  😄

      I think your first step has to be figuring yourself out.  Don't worry about what anyone else wants you to be… don't worry about what society expects...  just figure out what YOU want/need.  This may be a soul searching experience... but I think a lot of gay guys try to convince themselves they are something else because they know that is what "normal" society want/expects.  Trying to be someone else is not going to work out well... so I think it's better to figure out who you really are... at your own pace.  (There is no need to hurry.)

      After you figure it out for yourself, and accept you for you, then you can figure out who else you want to reveal yourself to.  Unfortunately, not everywhere in the world publicly accepts gays as openly as we would like, so there is a separate problem from accepting your own sexuality and coming out to others in a "public" fashion.

    • RE: Major studio movie disapper

      Its a bit legalistic buy you can see the site policy on take downs by reading the DMCA link on the blue bar which links here: https://www.gaytorrent.ru/dmca.php  The basic premise is simple… the site content is provided by its users and the site is operated by volunteers, so there could almost anything [infringing] uploaded, and as its impossible for a machine to know what is okay and what is not, so the site takes the presumption that the content is okay until it hears otherwise… and thus its up to some humans to direct the process by filing take down notices.  Some production companies are more focused on filing take downs than others.

    • RE: Is coming out necessary at all? what is coming out actually?

      At this risk of revealing too much personal information, here's part of my life story:

      I've known I felt urges towards other boys for pretty much all my life.  I remember having a huge crush on a boy at age 6 in grade one. I somehow also knew for all my life that other people didn't always accept that I liked boys, so I sought to control who knew and/or who found out.  I didn't tell anyone myself prior to meeting my first love interest.  And what I told him was:  I'm curious to explore these feelings, but I don't want anyone else to know.

      I think it hurt him deeply, over our four year relationship, that I didn't want anyone to know how we felt about each other.  My not being out to my parents while still living at home, denied him full inclusion into my family at special occasions (such as family dinners for birthday parties and special days like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)  He was there, yes, but the reason for him being there was never disclosed, and I always had another person there, a woman, to cover.   (She was actually older, closer in age to my mother, and I suspect my mom may have thought, for a time, I was a cougar chaser  :blink: )  In the end, my not being out ended our relationship…  or was a major stress factor that heavily contributed to the breakup.

      Shortly after we broke up, I came out to my mom.  On "National Coming Out Day" no less.    😄   It took me quite a while to spit out the words to my mom...  and in the process she was kinda worried about what I was trying to say.  When I finally got it out... she said:  Is that all??  I was worried you'd killed someone or something!  (I think she was joking... but her point was unmistakable:  I was still her son and she was going to accept me as I was.)

      Since that time, I have still tired to control who knows.  Maybe I am a control freak, or maybe I don't want people gossiping about me...  to this day I still don't know why I care who knows?!?  I do know I was fired from a job, more or less because of it, although of course they didn't say that when they said "Nick, it's just not working out..." after 3 years of nothing but great feedback but shortly after they found out about my sexuality.  There are still many days when I think I am treated differently because of it...  but the truth is even if I didn't tell them, they'd probably still suspect and treat me differently if that was their inclination.  The older you get, the harder it gets for others to not see something different about you.  (Than the supposed 90% of society that is not GBLTQ.)

      So the long and the sort of it... for me is this.  You HAVE to come out to yourself.  Say the words "I'm gay" (or bi or whatever) to yourself in private...  learn to accept yourself.  When you're comfortable with that...  decide if you want to tell anyone else...  but if you do, be prepared to help them realize why you want them to know... so they can accept you as you have accepted yourself.

    • RE: Anyone REALLY dislike tattoos?

      I'm somewhere close to your opinion…  I find tattoos distracting in porn, and not in a good way... although occasionally some of the smaller and better done ones are tolerable to me.  I actually once wrote a porn production company to ask if they could produce more porn with less tattooed guys, and got a prompt reply from the producer basically saying that "the guys came that way and there was nothing she could do"  (to which I translated it that she had no control over casting.)  That does beg the question though, whether that tats help the stars lend more work or less...  Some of the guys with over-done tats seems to appear on some of the sketchier sites...

    • RE: Coming Out Bi: A Life-Long Process

      I can see one aspect of being bi that would probably be more complicated.  I believe we are all still coming out all the time in some respects because what we're coming out of is their "shadow" of expectations of being like them.  As a gay man, when I tell a straight man my sexuality, I often get the sense and even the question, "but you're not hitting on me or into me right?"  Basically I find that all straight men seem to assume their instantly attractive to all gay men.  If this happens to bi's then they would get it from men and women… and that would likely be even more annoying...

    • RE: Coming out via text message

      @thekingdom:

      Is it bad to come out via text message? I've moved far from home and likely won't see some of my friends for a long time. I just want a quick, painless way to get it over with.

      Well as someone who came out to my father by email, and it didn't go so well, I'm gonna recommend against this idea.  While you haven't actually changed, its just their perception of you that will change, they might still have questions or concerns that you could help provide answers for more readily in person.  (Remember that text messages lose a lot of emotion, and the lack of immediate response can make for over-thought and over-wrought communication.)

      Basically, either these people matter to you, and deserve your honest effort, or they're not that important, and if/when they find out doesn't matter so much.  For the less consequential people you could let them figure it out on their own by other means, such as a facebook update or similar.  Hell, you could post a message about your decisions on coming out etiquette on a blog and see who pays attention 😉

    • RE: "Please exchange personal information by PM only with members you trust"

      I'm going to play the devil's advocate and say that maybe people who have set their security permissions think they don't want to hear from random other members…?  I know that is certainly my general take on the situation.  Even when I have sent a helpful message to another user (usually a newbie because they need the help and don't have the means to set privacy on their profile) that has resulted in subsequent unrelated reply messages that have led me to regret making the initial contact.  (I would vote for a default feature whereby the ability to reply to a message would expire after some time like 2 weeks to 30 days.)

      I'm not being difficult, I just don't understand your use case.  The staff are very reachable via either the Helpdesk (preferred) or the staff listing page.  You can contact the poster of a torrent via the comments on the torrent.  You can reply/quote to forum messages and anyone participating in the forum will be able to find the reply via "replies to my messages" at the top of the forum page.  So what is your use case that leaves you wanting to contact people otherwise?

    • RE: Can't stay logged in

      @deeteedub:

      I've had the same problem and it just began recently.  As in the past couple of weeks.  If I log in and then come back a few hours later to see what's new, I find that I've been logged out and have to log in all over again.

      How is this even such a big deal?  Are you exceptionally lazy?  I am pro security in general, and I don't find having to log in again once every few hours to be that big of a deal.

      If it really bothers you, why not use a free password manager like Last Pass?  Mind, in my case, I still get the CAPTCHA on re-login attempts.

      Some people seem to think not being logged in will somehow affect their ability to seed/download their torrents, but that is not the case.

      I didn't think what I said was a violation of the rules or I obviously wouldn't have said it…  Telling someone how to preserve their privacy when joining a web site SHOULD not be a violation of any rule, IMHO.

    • RE: Warning regarding posting content from Deviantotter.com

      @raphjd:

      I think what they mean is that they put an invisible watermark on their videos and can trace that back to your account on their site.

      There are certainly sites that do this exact thing.  The only way to detect such a thing would be to download a second copy of the same video in the same resolution/file size and compare the two files.  If they don't place tracking info in the video, then any two downloads from different users would be expected to be identical.  If they are not identical, then there is probably a reason, and the file is being modified or customized for each downloader.

      The really good watermarking tools will survive a transcode of the video or a resize or whatnot…. basically as long as the quality of the video survives, so will the watermark, at least in theory.

      Its probably possible to circumvent such restrictions by downloading from such sites using a  :cens:.

      To those that say "It's okay because it's not up to me to judge":

      Intravenous drug use is a criminal matter in many places because society HAS judged it so.  It's for this same reason why I don't want to see snuff videos on the site…  because murder is a crime.  I don't want this site to become known as a place to go to get your fill of depictions of illegal activities...

    • RE: Maybe i'm gay?

      Not everyone holds a lot of faith in Kinsey and his scale, but the one valuable thing to take away from it is that nothing about human sexuality is black and white (although it is very common for youth to feel and/or want it to be.)  Do a little Wikipedia search on the Kinsey Scale… and take this test if you think it will help:  http://vistriai.com/kinseyscaletest/

      But really don't worry about the label… worry about developing your understanding of your own sexuality... if you need a label later (because it helps to find sex partners, maybe) then that will come in due time.  If someone, even your family, rejects you for being your true self, then you need to realize they're the one with the problem and not you, as you have been you all your life, even if you haven't fully expressed that to everyone up to this point.
