Russian based VK was a great alternative to Facebook, UNTIL the Russian government took control of it away from it's creator.  Now it is just as bad as Facebook.

HOWEVER, there is an even better alternative to Facebook called Mewe.com  which was created by a group that HATES facebook, and funded by extremely wealthy people.  Mewe is gaining 30,000 new members every day.  Facebook is in TROUBLE.. They are currently backing off of their planned crypto currency "Libre".

In the forums.. there is a box to check to receive NOTIFICATIONS of replies..

I have NEVER gotten a notification to one of my forum posts, and I have been using this site since it began in 1912.. (or something like that)

I DO  get notifications of messages in the main site.. such as for reseeding requests, or from moderators chatting to me, or messages sent direct from other members.  But as for the forums?  NEVER.

The admins and mods are volunteers and already seemed stretched to keep the site functioning and aren't likely to want to take on something like that.  I am guessing that they don't need points, anyway.  I would imagine they all have excellent ratios, can make torrents freeleech without spending points, etc.

I definitely wasn't disagreeing with you about the need for better documentation of torrent collections and of course asking on the "Who is this? What video is this?" board should NOT be necessary but was just offering a practical alternative to downloading an entire collection to find one video.

There is already a rule requiring a minimal number of photos and on torrents that don't have a lot of photos, members already get points for adding photos.  Not sure how many points, though.

I'm sure there would be plenty of people who would like to be admins to handle the pictures.  They could be admin/mods with "powers" limited to ONLY that function. 
The points currently awarded for pictures are VERY minimal - and there is no distinction between relevant and irrelevant photos.

My main issue about this is when people upload a collection that is something like 200 GB.. which is 199 GB of garbage with ONE good video, and they post a picture from that one good video with the torrent, but there is no indication of which file in the collection that picture is associated with (if any).  That makes that one good picture work as "bait" to get people to download the 200 GB torrent.

I don't expect a poster to include pictures for every file in their torrent. But if they are going to post a picture - I would like to know WHICH file it is associated with so I don't have to get stuck downloading things I don't want, and searching for hours. I think the maximum pictures per torrent is something like 10.  Again.. if someone is going to post a picture that acts as "bait", I want to know which file it is associated with.

I just installed PLEX, and it's searching my computer to create a gay porn library.  It might take weeks for it to complete that library!  (hehe)

I am not sure how PLEX works.  I have a guess..
1. It comes with EXISTING libraries of "mainstream" movies
2. You can add various libraries that typically correspond to a studio
3. You can create a library of all your own movies

Am I right?

I'm also confused about whether this has to be paid for or not.  What's the difference between the "free" use and "premium"?

I have an MS in CS.. but I am ashamed to admit that I have no idea how to set up a seedbox!  Are their instructions for someone as stupid as me to make a seedbox?

This site has a very good library of nearly every good video there is.  If you can't find it, I suggest clicking on "SET ALL", "TORRENT DESCRIPTION" and also "INCLUDING DEAD", and often you will find it.  Just because a torrent is "dead" doesn't someone won't start seeding it again to fill your needs.

It is mystifying to me how a small number of movies are not available anywhere.. ever.. for no good reason.  The best example of that is the movie "Drilligan's Island" by Manville.  Who wouldn't want to see a parody of Gilligan getting his ass fucked by the Skipper?

As far as I am concerned, it's a clear violation of the rules, as we have a forum section specifically for that.   Also, it violates the minimum size rule.

You don't have to download the entire collection.  Most or all torrent clients allow you to choose to download only some of the files in a multiple-file torrent.   If you are downloading an entire collection to try to figure out which video a photo goes with, try asking on the "Who is this?  What video is this?" board instead.  https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?board=108.0

Posting individual photos to the forum hoping that someone (which is often ME) can identify what movie it came from is a lot of work and can take several days if ever to get a response.  That is not practical. 
If someone is too lazy to post one scene or movie per torrent.. they can at least indicate which picture goes with which video in the collection.  They are not helping anybody.. and wasting their own time by not doing so.. because very few people are going to piss their hard earned credits away on collection that is 200 GB.. 100 GB.. or even 10 GB.

While we are at it.. the people who included filmstrips of tiny-low quality images that can't be viewed without running the magnifier over them are also quite lazy and wasting their own time and ours.

In fact.. I just thought of ANOTHER solution to this mess with a suggestion for the amount of points to be awarded instead of the current insignificant points awarded for pictures.
–-----When someone uploads a torrent...  award them 100 points per photo.. (a filmstrip of 15 images counts as ONE photo). 
Then, have THREE buttons for other members to use..

Button #1 would be ADD PHOTOS which if approved, would give that member 100 points per photo.

Button #2 would be REPLACE photos which if approved would give that member 200 points (100 for their new photo, and another 100 for replacing a crappy image with a relevant good one).

Button #3 would be ASSIGN photos which would award the member who made the effort to assign the EXISTING images to the files in the
torrent 100 points for doing the work that the lazy uploader didn't do to begin with.

I would also suggest - deducting 100 points for each image that the uploader was awarded for the photo they stuck on the torrent.  The uploader wouldn't be losing anything, but rather having what they were awarded rescinded / taken back.

Finally, this process would be a bit of work for an admin.  I suggest that the admin handling this should get 100 points per torrent they evaluate for proper images.

Am not sure if this a taboo topic or not, but here goes. Is there anywhere a list (I've looked and can't find one) of studios that are routinely asking for their content to be taken down? I often post collections, and it would be great to know that in advance, so I don't feel like my effort is for nothing   I know of a couple…LE, Chaos, WH...so I avoid those. But I still am not getting all of them right. Thanks

Not so much anymore, but in the PAST - I noticed that virtually everything I was uploading was being removed for a DMCA violation - only to be uploaded by somebody ELSE!  I think some people looking for points downloaded MY torrent, got MY torrent taken down, then uploaded it as their OWN.

Also, this site has a LOT of members.  If a MEMBER is reporting DMCA violations - that member doesn't need to be on this site.  They can invest in a stamp to send in their DMCA violations.  One violation per letter.

One solution to that would be.. when uploading a FOLDER..  QTM would cycle through all the MP4, AVI, MPG, and WMV files, and prompt the uploader for one (or more) pictures from each of those files - and associate it with that file.  If they are too lazy to make those associations, fine.. don't upload a picture.  But don't upload a bunch of pictures to use as "click-bait" to get people to download a 200 gig collection.. of which 190 gigs of it is unwanted.

Also.. very few members here are willing OR able to download massive collections, so those massive collections are a waste of time to the site.

Downloaded both WinRAR and Powerarchiver and neither will work for me. It is upsetting since I am only able to download due to my donation. Beware of RAR files, they often contain malware.  If Winrar won't open them, then they are probably fake files.
Perhaps the only good thing Microsoft has ever done is come out with excellent antimalware that blocks just about everything.

What torrent are you downloading that has RAR files?

ALSO:  there is ONE video format that can contain malware.. WMV.    Avoid that format.

Well put, but expecting someone prone to conspiracy theories to be rational is, um, optimistic at best.

I don't know that much about it.. but.. it seems MORE likely that it existed in primates, and was genetically adapted to be weaponized.  Possibly to kill off black people.. possible to kill off gay people.  I'm speculating based upon who the VICTIMS have been.
