      @twoflower:

      In general I like the new layout. But one thing is bugging me a lot. I mostly use a laptop (macbook) with a touchpad, and when I scroll through the list, and my cursor is on the middle of the page, the scrolling of the page often stops because the small scrollable block with information for a torrent first wants to scroll to the bottom before the page start scrolling again. (I hope this makes sense.)

      Do you see the icons above the result page on the right side? Just click on the icon middle to shorten the description
      Now you won’t see Scrollbars

      @hypir:

      I very, very, very much prefer the compact /browse.php layout. Can you give members the option to have that layout?

      Simpler still, keep the script as a link in the "Torrents" pulldown menu.

      could you please check the changes? i could'nt finish this modul today, but i guess you will like the usage changes.
      now you can toggle thumbnails, fullscreen and short/long description in realtime.

      there is one thing i would like to add: if you click away the pics AND have the short description, then you get the view tweaked like our old view. with those smaller rows…  what do you think about it?

      @leaozinho:

      The website is visually ugly and has layout problems, as the images are above the description and are facing several bugs.

      seems like, you got problems on an Android Device? i do not have one (yet) on IOS it looks fine.
      can anyone confirm, it does not look good on Android?

      @ColinTNM:

      The site feels really snappy loading today and the listings are back to without all the preview images. Just about perfect at the moment.  :police:
      oh, I did a search and the thumbnails are back in the results listing. It seems sometimes it's on and sometimes it's off?

      look at the script name on top .. is it "browse.php" (the old script) or is it "search.php" (the new one) ?

      @leaozinho:

      Please back to the old layout

      snief  :cry2: - no !  :cheers:

      @bartificial:

      I appreciate that you’re trying to make the site better, but honestly I don’t find the new theme to be a huge improvement. On a vertical iPad Pro there is plenty of space for your navigation at the top but it’s all hidden behind the hamburger menu (though sometimes I can actually trigger the desktop version of the nav to appear on some pages, and it’s much more usable). That’s not mobile friendly… Font sizes are also smaller than standard minimum sizes for mobile.

      This feels like an old theme retrofitted with some mobile things vs. a truly new responsive theme that would work at all sizes and have modern icons, etc. There’s  a lot of random borders and buttons styles and old icons everywhere that look like they’re left over from an old desktop theme. None of your icons looks like they’re @2x size or SVGs so they’ll look blurry on any mobile device.

      i have not optimized the site fully yet. seems like there is a lot of work todo. step by step .thanks for your feedback.

      btw. contributions of any kind welcome !

      @eobox91103:

      I would respectfully disagree.  Many commercial webmasters like to make periodic changes to give a new "look and feel," but there's no need to fix something if it isn't broken.  The new frozen pane at the top of the windows is a welcome feature, but I don't see much advantage to many of the other changes.  I suggest an approach of, "What do we need to fix?" and then fix it…not "What can I change for the sake of change?"

      I have plans that you may not recognize yet. I'm not changing the website because I'm bored. I see that almost half of the hits on this website come from mobile devices. This was really not foreseeable in 2006. But I just can't keep ignoring it now. Try to "update" some software from that time. Many things that used to run in the past don't work just because of updates. I cannot stop Chrome, Firefox and others from updating the software and standards as well. Is that why you shouldn't update anything? Like, never touch a running sytem ? This maybe work at home at your desktop. But not for a site like this.

      Hello dear members,
      Again a new day begins for me and I am happy about your numerous feedback. Even though some of you may not always be so understanding of my changes, I am confident that in the end I will satisfy most of you.

      Currently I have left you, with the so-called "Extended View". Sorry for this, but every now and then I need a break. I've been sitting at my computer more than 14 hours a day without interruption for the last week and I can't really take a break. This would only delay everything even further.

      Some people like what they see and a few others find it simply too much information. Now please just wait for the next version. There you can change the view in real time. These settings will remain constant until you change them again. Also on your next visit. So everyone can customize the user interface to his needs.

      With the menu you will probably have to get used to the fact that it will be a little different in the future. I personally don't like this colorful thing from back-in-the-days anymore. And it's really technically not up to date anymore. There won't be any more switching back and forth !!!! this is only possible now, so that during breaks in development, the site doesn't stand still here. But THEN it is over. So I would get used to it.

      I read your feedback carefully and take it into consideration as best I can. You will notice this with the next update ! At least those of you who follow this topic here.

      @ben351500:

      I use a laptop for the site, and I always go to Search, so I can’t comment on Browse.

      i didn't spend much time into the browse module yet.. still working on search/details

      @ben351500:

      Yes, it does seem redundant that you can see the thumbnails and also hoover over the title and see the same pics pop up, but what I’ve found is that while glancing down the list, a thumbnail will catch my eye, and I’ll say to myself “Hmmm… that could be interesting, but I can’t really tell.” Then I will hoover over the title to see the picture pop-up (which is usually a bit bigger) and then decide if I want to open the torrent page. Perhaps the way to get rid of this redundancy is to drop the “picture pop-up when hoovering” function, and make it so that if we hoover over a thumbnail it will pop-up individually? I hope I explained that clearly. Not sure if it’s feasible with your software, but it’s an idea.

      this part will be reworked.. if you see the thubnails, hovering the titles will do "nothing" or maybe show the full description.
      hovering a single pic, will enlarge it a little for better viewing. but just this single pic. and clicking on it opening the picture viewer with this individual pic activated…

      @ben351500:

      I have to second what some previous commentators have said about descriptions and the mini-scroll bar. Accidentally scrolling those, instead of the page as a whole, seems to be happening a lot, and is frustrating. I would suggest getting rid of those mini-scroll bars and if a description is longer than the space allocated on the page, well, then cut it there; someone who is interested in the torrent can open that page and read the full description. The idea of the Search page is to offer a teaser, so that the viewer will become interested and open the torrent page. Joker, you have mentioned a toggle to make the view extended or not; this would also be a good solution.

      this was somehow a quick fix or test… i rethink this

      @ben351500:

      I also find the search page bulky because I can’t see many entries in one glance. But on the other hand, I do like some of the changes that make each entry clearer and more readable. I’m not sure how to reconcile these two opposite things.

      only switches to change the view will fix it…
      @ben351500:

      1. On the search page the “number of files” is not grammatically correct when there is only one file. It reads: “1 Files.” Should be, of course, “1 File.” This has no effect on functionality, but I thought I’d mention. It.

      i can not find it.. you talk about search or the (pic)browser?

      @ben351500:

      1. When finishing a report on a duplicate torrent, the last line says something along the lines of “If this is true, you will get 50 seed bonus points.” Using the word “true” implies that it’s opposite is “a lie” and that if the report is not the truth, it is a lie which then makes the reporter a liar. Might I suggest using the word “accurate” instead? There is no judgement if something is inaccurate, but there is if it is a lie. Small thing, I know, and completely unimportant, but like I said, I’m an editor…

      thanks for clearing this up for me. Im of course not natively speak english.. so if you see stuff like that, let me know

      @ben351500:

      Lastly, Joker, I want to say that I don’t hold much truck with folks who complain about how great the suffering it is to have to make one more click and angrily threaten to revert to the old layout or stop using the site entirely. A learning curve can be a little frustrating at first, especially in software (Microsoft anyone?), but it is exactly that: A LEARNING CURVE. Once people get used to it, they won’t even think about the changes anymore. So keep on making the changes that you feel will help modernize the site and make it a better place. Ignore the bitchy comments, consider all the good feedback, and carry on. You won’t be able to please everybody all the time. You’re doing great.

      i do love  :love: the peeps… so i try my best.. but i like your thoughts about the  LEARNING CURVE
      sorry folks, that i force you to learn something new !!  :crazy2:

      Couldn't switch it back fast enough, takes much longer to scroll down on non-mobile. I don't need to read every full description unless I decide to click on something.  Not better for me, not sure why it's assumed to be better for all.
      A shame this doesn't offer something like a desktop version (old display) plus mobile device version (new display), depending on what is being used, like FB.

      I'm ashamed that as an individual I can't keep up with the development power of Facebook and Microsoft and Co. Shame on me. Sorry sorry sorry

      @beep:

      Since the redesign seems to be a work in progresss I won't comment other than to say it seems to be going well. You'll get lots of noise about it, I'm sure, but people hate change. They forgot that they themselves had to grow up at one time. 😉 I DO like that the site is much faster now. Oh, I still think that Feet should be its own catagory.

      @miken14:

      I'm sorry but this is awful, all I see is the name of the torrent and pictures with no information?
      I would be hard pressed to decide on what to download with this minimalistics display, the old one was fit for purpose, this is not. If people wanted to see just pictures and little else there was always the browse function, not sure how this is supposed to be the slightest bit better?

      @Yott:

      Hey, I wanted to thank you for the new option to see all the miniatures under the name of the torrent! That makes it easier to browse and find torrents.
      Thanks.

      But people must also understand that after such a long time with a design from 2006, it is time to make some changes. I see the statistics of how many people use the site from a mobile device. The reasons are many and varied. Instead of questioning them, I have long since decided to support them fully. Unfortunately I lacked the time until now. It is not done in a few hours. Instead, I will let you participate in the process a little bit and I will also be fed by your feedback.

      Those who follow this thread here attentively have already noticed that opinions differ greatly on some points. None of you is wrong. With the next update you will be able to customize the layout to your needs. For the next hours, maybe until tomorrow, you will have to be satisfied with the current version. Even then it won't be the final version. But I'm sure that in the end I'll be able to do more than just fulfill your wishes!

      @mcondor:

      Minor bug in browse page.

      Let me finish the search page. then i go over to make the browse page better.

      @Yott:

      I like the new design, but I have a problem in my cellphone: I can't see my stats directly, like in the desktop version. It only shows the "Profile", "Affiliate", "Messages", "Details & Stats" and "My torrents" buttons, but I can't see my ratio, I can't see my seedpoints, and I can't access to the page to trade points for UL GBs, so I have to switch to the desktop version to look at it.

      finally i will make tweaks to the cellphone view of those pages. The Design is somehow "mobile ready" but not fully optimized for the cellphones. be patient !

      Not a fan of the images being on the Search page, but because I think that people should be able to see them if they want to then I'd like the option to turn them off via a setting.

      yeah ..don't worry.. at the end you will find some toggles on that page where you can switch between long and short description, if you want to see pics, all pics or no pics. etc… give it some time. it'll evolve for the better.

      @dswallow:

      The cleaner layout is nice, but it would be helpful, I think, if you provided the ability to control some aspects of the search page.

      • choices of how much description to display, and an option to provide it via hover popup or a click-to-expand button on the item listing  instead
      • choices of displaying the category thumbnail image or perhaps a primary uploaded image related to the torrent.
      • perhaps choosing from a selection of column styles where there are full scrollable description columns as well as shortened minimal description columns; expand this to even having individual columns for things currently combined into one, like the "Info" column, which could also allow for a category image column and a torrent image column.

      For my use, the current new version is exceedingly too spread out and too noisy. I intend to keep using whatever the default is as you develop this, though, just in case it's just something I need to get used to. 🙂

      Also, just to mention, I have never really used the "Browse" option, but I think it would be more useful to me if it offered a way to easily indivicate what I've already downloaded, perhaps like "Freeleech" is overlaid as a banner, or dimming the image until it is hovered over.

      there will come configuration options of this view… at the moment, you see also pics in that view.. i would call this EXTENDED view...

      @Myfever:

      pls go back to how it was. the current one is messy

      super not helpful ! how about use another site then?

      @thatdg7guy:

      Honestly i'm not going to complain much i have only 2 requests (with 1 bonus)

      1. I only use this site on my computer and when i click on the photos while i'm looking to download a torrent, usually the images all come up on the SAME page and i can click from right to left then X it and still have the original page right in front of me. It was neat and easy. Now as soon as i click on a picture, i'm out of the torrent page and i just have the JPEG. So then i have to load the previous page again, and the same thing with every other picture…  Can you fix that please, sir ?

      2. The BROWSE button is kind of... the most important one ? I wish it had been chosen as one of the main tabs at the top of the page.

      Bonus : I wish the option to keep the old version was never taken away from us.....EVER ! And i say that for every site that has updates  :afr2: But is the reasoning that it will start fucking up after a while ?

      1. can you clear your browser cache? this still should work as expected.
      2. Other people think the "search" button is the most important one. DAMN is it so hard to click one more time?
      3. if anything changes in your life… do you complain or try to get used to it?!

      @hobert:

      I do like, as the screen width gets smaller, that the stats "disappear" in sections and then all together. A small minor suggestion that might help, having the up and down numbers on top of each other (Stop it, just, no. Stop.) instead of side by side (as the others are stacked) would eeck out another few pixels before disappearing.

      i have no final ideas yet, but i like to add also the messages to the view. so you see again ALL informations as long your browser size allows it.

      @fawert:

      I generally like the new layout but:
      1. I'm seeing more and more pictures in picture view that are either too long or too short. (You cant click on the picture if it's too short since the hover popup covers the whole thing. And the long pictures just takes up too much space unnecessarily)
      2. The search view on pc is spanned across the whole screen which makes it very hard to take in the information because you have to move your eyes a lot while there is too much white space in the middle. The old layout got this right but there is no option to turn off search 2.0.

      I look forward to the final version of this but for now please let me change back to old search view. Thank you!

      1. i have to work on that module…. actually i am on search2.0 how you call it.
      2. it is ment to be fullscreen. you just could decrese the size of the browser window. i have plans to add some of the pictures here too. so you see even more of each torrent without to have to click. maybe there will come a switch to toggle between a "smaller" view and the lets say "extended view"

So and like the others I don´t like the colors of the fonts. Furthermore everything I try to go back to the old layout, next time I am here, the new layout is back, and I have to click back to the old layout again.  😕

      i increased the size of title and description in the search results a bit. is this now ok to you? any other "to small text" you see ?

      Font colour is an issue too.  Now that the background is dark, fonts have to be light in contrast to read.  e.g. Ratio darkens as health dips.  I believe the colour scheme was meant to highlight poorer ratios.  It becomes counter-intuitive against a dark background.  The worse the ratio, the harder it is to read?

      seems like.. this will get tweaked

      I love the new design for the most part.   My only issue, is that now torrents with a large horizontal preview image get the entire image loaded in browse…   The old layout didn't do that.   And now I sometimes have to scroll quite a ways to load the next batch.   I fiddled with it and couldn't seem to find a toggle to affect that specifically.   Am I missing something?  Otherwise...great stuff!

      you are talking about the pic browser. Yes… this module needs some rewrites. the popups dont work as expected and a lot other stuff.. actually i have more focus und the menu and the search page.. but i will get back to this also !

      I miss having the upload date in the search results.

      Also, this is old feedback, but before the query optimizations a year ago or so, I could do a wildcard search. For example, if I wanted hypnosis videos, I could search "hypn" and it would bring back results for hypnosis, hypnotist, hypnotizing, hypnotize, hypnotized, hypno, etc… Now I have to search each of these separately and I'm still probably missing some. Any way we could get a wildcard search operator like "hypn*" ?

      the upload date is visible: the column "added" !?!
      just tried the wildcard search for 'hypn*' without a problem. got more than 700 results

      @pmrrk:

      I like the new look, but I really do miss the rainbow flag at the top of the site. It added some personality and some pride to the site.

      wow, i did not expect this reactions. That people even get feelings for a design from the year 2006.
      It is not finished yet. First i would like to have the functionality. People miss some direct accessible functions in the Menu.
      When the menu is final, we might consider adding some pride to it. maybe with a new logo. i did not have one, so i re-used the old one.

      @smuttinata:

      The new interface is kinda inconvenient. As when I am on the SEARCH pages and I want to go to pages 251-300, in the new interface, I have to click through 1-50, then 51-100 and so on. Kinda inconvenient though.

      In a future version there will not even be a pager. Just like in the Browse page, the contents will be loaded while scrolling. In the meantime I'll see what I can do with the pager.

      @nydude25:

      The "Added" and "Size/Infos" columns are too close together.
      The page skip "1 - 50  | 51 - 100" is missing some ranges.
      The "Search" button at the top is now a two click (Click Torrents then click Search) process, but that's the button I click on most often.
      No message counter displayed on header, requires two clicks also.
      I'm sure the new design will come along eventually. :clap2:

      Thanks for your comments. I will tweak the Menu. Most people miss the "search" button i guess. Also, the "new message" from the title of the page will get removed - as requested elsewhere.

      @urx585: apologize accepted.

      @urx585:

      1. If more of the torrent title was included before being cut off and replaced with ellipses.  There is a BIG difference between torrents that end with 480P and torrents that end with 1080P, but this often gets cut off.  There is no reason to truncate the torrent title.  Simply wrap to a second line, if necessary.

      i need to break the design for this.
      On the left side you can see the picture of the main category. It has always been the goal to never need more space than this picture takes. 80px in height. Meanwhile I think this is too little. What would you think if I would show the 4 subcategories under the main category picture? Then you would have twice as much space on the right side for information. This would solve your issue as well.

      @urx585:

      1. The torrent title and description should be in readable fonts with high contrast to background.

      look how it is now: dark background with white text.. this should be readable enough

      @urx585:

      1. If more of the description was shown without having to mouse over the ellipses, that would be helpful.  When we do mouse over, we should see as much of the description as will fit on the screen.  It doesn't matter if it takes up most of the screen, because it will disappear when we mouse away.

      i will take care of it. be patient

      @urx585:

      1. When we mouse over the torrent title, the pictures should be shown in as large a box as possible.  As above, it's OK if the pictures are so large they cover most of the screen, because they will disappear when we mouse away.

      depending on the different screen sizes, this make a lot problems. this has to be completly rewritten as well.

      @urx585:

      1. The "gtru :: 1 Message" notification in the page title MUST GO AWAY.  Because the site alters and obscures ALL of the tabbed page titles every time some !@#$-%^&* sends yet another reseed request, it makes it impossible to find the tab you were looking for… unless you open your Inbox and then wait minutes for all the stupid warnings to disappear.

      i turned this off. nobody told me, that this can be annoying. maybe we need a switch like "notification settings" were you can turn this on/off

      @urx585:

      Finally, when we click on "File List" we should see the EXACT FILE SIZE in BYTES.  That is the precise size of the file, with no conversion or truncation – exactly as it is shown in the torrent file itself.  Converting to base 10, then truncating and adding KB/MB/GB makes it IMPOSSIBLE to detect duplicates based on file size.  I can still do it if there is only one file in the torrent -- the main page shows the exact size in bytes (THANK YOU!!!) but if it has two or more files, I can't see the exact sizes of the individual files unless I download the torrent.

      If the UI redesign effort was to make it easier for mobile phone users, why not just allow users to choose the interface based on how they access it?  Most of this site's users don't access it via phones.  The screens are too small, and the keyboards suck.

      i tweaked this as you might already noticed. and here we have a problem. i cannot tweak this jusr for the "new" version. so i had to change this sidewide. i dont want to mess around with more than 1 code base. Im working as a single individual on it. I am not Microsoft with 1000 developers onboard. hope you understand, why i will put the old layout offline sooner or later and try to make you guys happy with the new design. Just complaining and then turning it off is just mean and not helpful. I hope you realize that now.

      those changes need to be done. it is not just about a new look. it is the possibility to continue developing new features for the site.

      Photos are not necessarily clear in meaning or representative of a broad category.  For instance, the "Daddy" photo above might be mistaken for "Tattoos", "Grey & Older", "Daddies & Sons", or "Straight Older".  What races should be in the photo for "Interracial"?  One of each?  Then it might be "Group Sex".

      yeah.. so right.. if we use pics again, we can keep the existing icons.. it should be real icons without pics in it at all.
      btw. "daddy" is a definition we all see our own version of it in our mind. This guy looks for not like a "daddy". Its more a hunk

      @tempdownload:

      Hello, Transmission says the Tracker has timed out.  And I can't reach the URL https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/stmdd
      It returns "d14:failure reason30:502 - Backend is not reachablee"
      I think hyperfilter is blocking me.  My IP address is 184.75.223.90. Any chance you can unblock my IP please?
      Many thanks

      this message: "d14:failure reason30:502 - Backend is not reachablee" tells me, that you are NOT blocked. It is the answer from our Proxy who directs the request to the backend. It was another problem with the backend which run the site slow today.. network issues. Please try it again now. It should work. btw. it sounds stupid, but reboot your machine
