I don't agree with it either. Nor, do I think, do the vast majority of activists. And lucky you that you are from Canada. There is no Florida, or Texas or Tennessee, Canada You live in a very (at least currently) fair, democratic and progressive nation. Whereas vast areas of the US are becoming regressive. Canada is what many of aspire to.

No matter how hard the right tries to make "woke" a pejorative, they fail. It's like making "kind," "compassionate," and "tolerant" insults. "Agenda" is dismissive and gets tossed around a lot as well when the establishment doesn't want to share power and rights: gays have an agenda, feminists have an agenda, Blacks have an agenda. It's just an "agenda," so it can be ignored. Trans people just want equal rights. The right to be who they are without stigma, threat of violence, and being treated with disdain. It amazes me that gay people don't get that. We know that the VAST majority of these people are not advocating violence, but there will always be outliers, but they do not define the group at all. Having said that, historically, a lot of "rights-seekers" have only resorted to violence when every else fails. And one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist depending on where you stand on the issue.

I am also very alarmed that any gay person would align themselves with the "anti-woke" groups. Believe me, these people are not our friends.

I didn't "skip" this. I am not an embryologist, so choose not to pretend I know. "The science is clear" does make me suspect that this was not written by an actual scientist, however. I don't think it can be determined that an eleven-week old fetus has the ability to "defend itself in anguish" when a new born child cannot do the same. Does the fetus lose intelligence as time goes on? Maybe you should add that to your research "to-do" list.

If the name "Obama" or "Biden" were in that headline, do you think we'd be having a different discussion right now? Further, if any Democrat involved in any alleged illegality that Trump is facing or has faced. Do you think the discussion would be any different?

I do not hate conservatives. Honest conservatives and liberals with integrity are vital to the health of any true democracy. But this current cancer in the GOP that worships anything Trump and demonizes liberals is inexcusable and un-American. It literally makes me sick to my stomach to watch what he and his disciples have done to the country. I truly believe the damage could be irreparable for a long time.

I've never said that in my life nor know anyone who has. I admitted that this is a very complicated issue, and that I can see both sides. My personal belief is that as I will never be confronted with this problem, it's none of my business. I think women should decide this one. @blablarg18 Completely irrelevant. The disagreement over choice is not a question of science; it's a question of morality. If you believe in God and a soul and believe the soul enters the whatever when the egg is penetrated by the sperm, then I totally understand why you'd disagree with abortion. I get it. But we don't live in a theocracy, and certainly not one dominated by one particular sect. So the question remains, when is it morally ok to abort a fetus? No one seems to be able to agree on that, But it has nothing to do with science. Science does not attempt to define when an embryo "becomes human." Science cannot prove the existence or non-existence of a "soul." That's why this is such a contentious issue.

But I have lived here a long time and talk to a lot of them and read the news here and know how most Polish people feel about this war which is why I invited you to come here and find out for yourself.
