@raphjd Pornography should not be allowed in elementary schools. All my friends and family are liberals, many of them school teachers, and not one would disagree with that.

@raphjd Poland and Ukraine indeed have a complicated and tragic history. Many Poles still blame all Ukrainians for Wolyn. But they are the minority. Most Poles (in Poland) completely support Ukraine in Putin's criminal war of aggression.

Certain conservatives fully abandon libertarian ideals and decide they have the right to control what others do, read and, apparently now, purchase. So much for their opposition to "cancel culture."

@raphjd How you decide to see the world is your business. I just find it interesting as I've been working and living internationally most of my life, and in my experience the more educated and well-travelled a person is, the more progressive, tolerant and open-minded they are. You seem to be an anomaly. You are so certain that you can pigeon-hole people (erroneously by the way in my case), that I can't see how you can think that will lead you to factual judgement calls. But like I said, whatever gets you through the night. It doesn't matter anyway. These conversations we are having in this wee corner of cyberspace are not solving anything. They are a complete waste of time.

@raphjd You are right. Thirty years ago the Democrats were getting in wrong. The Republicans were worse. The difference is the Democrats have progressed while the Republicans have regressed. You can't ignore the reality....just look what's going on, mate.
