Maybe both sides need to come together and start passing legislation that tackles the root causes of crime. Maybe take a look at countries with much lower rates of crime, and figure out what they are doing that we are not?

There may be are some liberals who would like that. But none I know. I am a gun owner (not here in Poland, but in the US). I would like to see the same kinds of regulations to gun ownership as there is to driving a car, for example.
