@raphjd And when you look at murder rates in the US, 7 of the 10 states with the highest rate are very red.

      https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/murder-rate-by-state

Maybe both sides need to come together and start passing legislation that tackles the root causes of crime. Maybe take a look at countries with much lower rates of crime, and figure out what they are doing that we are not?

here's a huge difference between gun control and taking away our guns that liberals want.

There may be are some liberals who would like that. But none I know. I am a gun owner (not here in Poland, but in the US). I would like to see the same kinds of regulations to gun ownership as there is to driving a car, for example. The same kinds of regulations that exist in most countries. where 327 people are not being shot every day.

Hillary Clinton got out of going to trial because she and all of her co-conspirators were granted immunity before they were even charged.

Associates of Clinton were granted immunity in and investigation of her (standard legal practice). Why would Hillary be granted immunity when she was the focus of the investigation? You need to stop listening to Trump. He's making you believe bullshit is real.

Most conservatives support some gun control.

Maybe in the UK, but what gun control measures does the NRA and most US conservatives support?

@blablarg18 A very Trumpian answer: no facts, so resorts to childish taunts. It's only in your deluded mind that you think you've pointed out where I am wrong. I gave you a list of points above, an abbreviated one at that, of examples of policies that would benefit families yet are opposed by most Republicans.

Your simply stating that half are lies is in fact a lie. Most of what you post here is just fact-free CT from the usual "sources." I am surprised that your keyboard doesn't explode when you type words like "intelligence" and "honesty."

@blablarg18 I challenge you to show me which are lies. I also challenge you name any legislation the Republicans have put forward that would benefit children and families.
I know you love to make lists....waiting.

The rifle used to shoot Trump was purchased by the shooter's FATHER.

Irrelevant. He was still ABLE to buy one and (obviously) access one. Republicans are against any kind of gun control, so.........karma.

They can't put Biden on trial because he was found to be too senile.
Hillary Clinton got out of going to trial because she and all of her co-conspirators were granted immunity before they were even charged.

Would you like to try that again?

It shows that the liberal media and Dems are pathological liars, who will rewrite history for political gain.
It also shows that so-called "fact-checkers" are liars, as if we didn't have enough proof already.

You mean like the stolen election, Trump's "perfect" phone calls, and the peaceful protest and tour of Congress on Jan 6?

Again, if you were consistent it might be possible to take it seriously.

@raphjd Not when these "sins" are not mere accusations that can be proved and charged. You didn't hear any Democrats supporting Sen. Menendez when he as found guilty. It was Democrats that forced Sen. Franken to resign, even without evidence.

As for Clinton and Biden....where's the evidence?

Even -if- point 2 would apply to me, I don't mind it being said.

I guess unlike conservatives, liberals are also concerned about their nieces, nephews, cousins and other people's children.

That's a bit grand. He was shot at by a psychopath who was legally able to buy an assault weapon. Sounds more like karma to me.

I prefer presidential candidates that people don't want to kill 🙂

New vid - JD notes, rightly, how Dems have become "anti-family & anti-child."

As per usual, far-right sound bytes lack substance.

      Republicans are against:

      1. Universal Healthcare
      2. Government Sponsored Childcare
      3. Student Loan Forgiveness
      4. Gay Marriage and Adoption (not all...but many)
      5. School Lunch Programs
      6. Raising the Minimum Wage
      7. Building Affordable Housing for Low-Income Families.
      8. A woman's right to choose whether or not she wants children or can afford to have them.
      9. ETC......

They are bringing back child-labor though. I guess that is what they consider "family-friendly." And they are all for school vouchers which diverts funds away from public education and benefits the rich at the expense of the poor.

Republicans "talk the talk" when is comes to families. But they have done nothing real to help them. I think JD Vance should just keep talking and talking. He is doing an amazing job of convincing women to vote Democrat.

In a civil suit, the burden of proof is 50.01%.
The jury didn't find that he put his dick in her, as she claimed.
Somehow the judge found that, despite the jury's verdict that he didn't rape her, her claim that he raped her was "substantially true".

And yet this is a discussion we are having about someone who wants to be POTUS. You don't find that strange? Remember when the minimum requirement for that position was a clean criminal record? I remember when John Edwards had to drop out because he cheated on his wife. But here we are discussing which crimes of the candidate are "not so bad." It's absurd.

@blablarg18 If you were as honest about Trump's very real shortcomings, one might entertain to take you seriously. But you are just another far-right mouthpiece.
She has energized a lot of disenchanted voters and has a very good chance of winning and you people are shitting your pants. It is so much fun to watch 😉

@raphjd Even if she were, what power, as Vice President, did she have to do anything? You can hurl wild accusations and deflect responsibility, but the fact remains that Republicans, under instruction from Trump, cynically killed the bipartisan bill so that he could use it as an issue in this election.
