It's sad that the GOP has to rely on the Democrats' accomplishments back in Washington while campaigning back home in their districts.

You support a rapist, incestuous fuck, and a child sniffer.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
You support a sexual abuser, who grabs women by the pussy without consent, and peeps on little girls at beauty pageants.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
I don't care about the Somali stuff. I just came here to point out that you believing she married her own brother is nonsense.

TRUMP stated he supports gay marriage, no qualifiers, & told GOP to get on board.
Lesley Stahl: One of the groups that's expressing fear are the LGBTQ group. You--
Donald Trump: And yet I mentioned them at the Republican National Convention. And--
Lesley Stahl: You did.
Donald Trump: Everybody said, "That was so great." I have been, you know, I've been-a supporter.
Lesley Stahl: Well, I guess the issue for them is marriage equality. Do you support marriage equality?
Donald Trump: It-- it's irrelevant because it was already settled. It's law. It was settled in the Supreme Court. I mean it's done.
Lesley Stahl: So even if you appoint a judge that--
Donald Trump: It's done. It-- you have-- these cases have gone to the Supreme Court. They've been settled. And, I'm fine with that.

Saying "It's settled, move on" is hardly a ringing endorsement, especially when the SCOTUS justices appointed by him are champing at the bit to overturn Obergefell.

I thought congress was on the verge of passing bi partisan legislation to help alleviate this issue?
They were, but then Trump told the GOP to stop because he wants to campaign against Biden on the issue. Basically, don't solve the problem so I can campaign that Biden didn't solve the problem.
Just shows you how much the GOP really cares about the issue. It's just base pandering.
@blablarg18 said in The U.S. Should Apologize to Gay People:
First USA President to run & get elected as pro-gay marriage: TRUMP.
While it was more "gay marriage ambivalent" than pro-gay marriage, I will admit that he was at least braver than a lot of politicians on both sides of the aisle in telling people to get over it and move on.
That being said, I wouldn't say that Trump is pro-gay people. I mean, within minutes of his administration taking office, nearly all pro-LGBT messaging was removed from government websites. Despite having said he would continue Obama's administration's protections for LGBT workers, his administration slowly and consistently destroyed them.
@blablarg18 said in Sex Criminal Ordered to Pay $83.3M:
Or are you calling for Clinton trials?
If the SOL is changed in Arkansas, D.C., or elsewhere, then I certainly hope that anyone Bill Clinton has sexually assaulted, harassed, or raped does sue him.
I'm not sure why you dumbasses on this board keep thinking I carry water for the Clintons. Why not stop attacking the strawmen liberals living in your imaginations, and instead, actually engage with the actual community here on this Forum.
LINK: THE U.S. SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO GAY PEOPLE
I find it sad that many of the more conservative members of the Forum are ignorant of the US's history vis a vis gay persecution and are gleefully advocating positions likely to trigger new witch hunts.
@raphjd said in Sex Criminal Ordered to Pay $83.3M:
Let's not forget that the state of New York created a temporary law change specifically so she could sue Trump.
You act like it was a Democrat ploy. The ASA passed unanimously in the NY Senate, and was passed 140-3 in the Assembly...meaning it was bipartisan and nearly universally approved.
And it wasn't adopted to punish Trump. NY changed the criminal and civil Statute of Limitations for certain sexual crimes in the state, but that change only applied prospectively. In fairness, they granted a temporary retroactive expansion of the civil SOL for a period of 1 year.
And it was a success, as thousands of claims were filed by adult survivors of abuse. Most suits were brought against prisons, jails, hospital, and similar institutions for harboring sexual predators and covering up their crimes.
Wow, imagine being pro-sexual abusers. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Weren't quite a few of them "unmasked" when dozens of them were arrested for conspiring to riot at a Gay Pride event in Idaho a couple years ago? I'm pretty sure many of them have already been tried and convicted.
Why don't you check the employment records of those fellows?
@raphjd said in Epstein document dump - bad for Clinton, Prince Andrew; sorry libs it's ok for Trump:
That still does not say that he did it with the Miss Teen.
According to Pageant Planet, Miss Teen is 13 to 17.
While 18 and 19 are technically "teenagers" they are legally adults.
As I have pointed out in previous posts, both gay men and hetero women have been shown in photos of young male models in various states of undress backstage at fashion shows. No one seems to care. Is it because it's not Trump or they believe that it's ok because it's boys, therefore "feminism."
Wow, you're making excuses for a groomer. Trump's behavior is groomer behavior.
Where's the other nutball with his groomer memes, or does he only post those against gay men out of his self-loathing?
@raphjd said in Epstein document dump - bad for Clinton, Prince Andrew; sorry libs it's ok for Trump:
The 4 anonymous sources can't be verified. They could be lying to make Trump look bad. We can't verify if they were even in a pageant.
Don't like anonymous sources? Okay, how about the source being Trump himself. To quote Trump from a 2005 Howard Stern interview:
“I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone’s getting dressed and ready and everything else... You know, no men are anywhere. And I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant. And therefore I’m inspecting it… Is everyone OK? You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. And you see these incredible-looking women. And so I sort of get away with things like that..."
Remember, the contestants at the Miss Teen USA pageant ranged from 14 to 19.

Also, your quote doesn't include the infamous "grab them by the pussy."
Scroll back up and read the post again. It clearly includes the quote.

I haven't heard of him concerning anything "teen" but I have heard of him with the adult version.
LINK: Donald Trump boasted about meeting semi-naked teenagers in beauty pageants
Comes from his statements on the Howard Stern show back in 2005 before he'd even thought about running for president. He was a lot more honest about his sleaze before he had presidential aspirations.
@raphjd said in Epstein document dump - bad for Clinton, Prince Andrew; sorry libs it's ok for Trump:
"Grab them by the pussy" is missing the 2nd part, as always. The full quote is "You can grab them by the pussy because they let you."
I think you need to read the transcript again, because that's not what he said.
Trump: Yeah, that’s her. With the gold. I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.
Bush: Whatever you want.
Trump: Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.
He's describing sexual assault; not pre-confirmed consensual activity. He's relying on post-act retro-consent because he's a celebrity. And judging from the number of Confidentiality Agreements he's paid women to sign, I don't think he always got the post-act retro-consent.
And I notice you ignored him looking at naked little girls at his beauty pageants.
@blablarg18 said in Media Matters gets 75% of budget from 5 megadonors:
cry more
I don't care about Media Matters. As far as I can recall, I don't think I've ever seen any video they've made.
My comment highlights your absurd reasoning, i.e., high executive pay and funding from megadonors makes an organization questionable.
I do hope Musk adds the donors to his lawsuit, but I'm pretty sure his attorneys will explain to him how stupid that is before it happens. Not only is that not how liability works, but also I can guarantee you that all of their donations were made thru a trust (likely a Delaware Trust), which is a legally distinct person and won't get at the individuals whose name is on the trust.
But maybe Musk will make his lawyers do it, in which case I wonder how much money those trusts will extract from him in damages, sanctions, and attorneys' fees when they are summarily dismissed.
Wait until you discover that the president of the Heritage Foundation made twice what the president of Media Matters, and that it received most of its money from mega-donors like the Koch Brothers and Philip Morris. If we're using high executive pay and large donors as evidence of a non-profit being biased and bad.
