    • RE: Losing friends after coming out?

      @z3n1th:

      YES… and YES...

      ON LOSING FRIENDS - Well, turns out I never really needed them anyway...

      ON GAINING FRIENDS - They are still my closest of friends today... and I'm very lucky to have found them 😃

      This is 100% true.  Coming out shows you more of who your real friends are.  Some friends come and go in your life.  It's only natural anyways.

    • RE: I have no idea how to deal with my mom

      @Omerro:

      it appears me being gay crushed her dreams, she cant even say the word gay. I'm so frustrated with her! how did you handle fussy parents?

      Don't take it personally.  This is her issue, hopefully with time she will understand that she should love you for all your similarities and differences.  This isn't your fault.  I hope that things got better for you.

    • RE: Coming out to homophobic parents?

      Religion.  The only reason why we have to fear coming out.  The only reason why we are not accepted.  The reason why we STILL have to fight for equal rights.

    • RE: Coming out to homophobic parents?

      @ChuckShirley:

      This is a late late answer(lol) but for future visitor:

      If you want to come out to your parents you really need to be fully prepare for the worst. Make sure you can sustain yourself, get a job, a place to life(preferably somewhere a far from your parents), some savings, etc. This way when they(God forbid) disown you, you can take care of yourself.

      Coming out can be a bitch when they won't accept you, but it will set you free.
      I wish you good luck mate

      I second this.  Coming out adds to your independence, and makes you more of an adult.  Which means you have to be prepared for the answer.  It is unfortunate you feel like you need to question how your parents will react, I hope that if you did come out that they accepted and supported you for you to be yourself.

    • RE: Are there any advantages to being a homosexual rather than a heterosexual?

      @gatoradeboy6:

      heterosexual men have to work super hard to get sex with women and are constantly rejected
      for the most part

      homosexual men are able to find other men to have sex with with very little effort and are rarely rejected because the whole process is much more transparent from the beginning
      for the most part

      tl;dr
      gays have more and better sex

      Are you trying to stereotype the "female" gender that are not promiscuous?
      Some girls are just as horny as guys.

    • RE: Going back in the closet

      @lostalone:

      The whole point about coming out is opening ourselves to let others inside a previously hidden part of us.
      By that definition, we also invite rejection and avoidance.

      As long as you're not harming others (by having a double life, say), the only metric you should use is how comfortable and free you are with your life decisions.
      If you find yourself enjoying a more subdued life without being out and proud, then by all means, you do you.

      At the same time, I find myself questioning the idea that being out in any way = being shoved in a certain box and treated accordingly. I don't think you're giving your friends enough credit.

      By you coming out you can prove to the people around you that you shouldn't be "shoved in a certain box"  the more people come out the more we can break those stereotypes.  I am certainly not a stereotypical gay man and I have even had people say that I wasn't what they expected.

      Just be you.

    • RE: Are you out at work?

      Yes, and I look at myself as an example of a gay person so if anyone has an issue they will slowly learn i'm just like everyone else.

    • Kicking Balls

      I recently has someone request to be kicked in the balls really hard, is this person yanking my chain?  I don't understand what pleasure could be received by a full on kick or ball stomping.

      I probably would have done some real damage if I hooked up with this guy, if it was legit.

      Anyone else into getting kicked in the balls? ball torture? am i in the right place to be posting this?

    • Bottling Piss

      Has anyone ever done this?

      I'm saving all my piss for my slave and either let him drink it when I'm not around or use it as a shower depending on his supply.  What I'm wondering is sometimes when it sits there is a white sandy residue at the bottom, is this normal?

    • RE: How to make my straight friend piss on me?

      @flozen:

      Of course, I think it's fun to ask GT members for ideas on how to achieve our naughty hopes/fantasies.

      Your description of the friendship is very well laid out.

      I hate to rain on your parade – or perhaps you'd like that 😊 -- but I see any "pee-on-me attempt" as quite likely to call your sexuality into question, and at worst, permanently damage/end the friendship.

      Perhaps you could go on Grindr or other app and search for a bisexual guy with your roomie's general "look," who would accommodate you.

      Weigh your decisions carefully, and good luck!

      Your advice and knowledge is spot on.  Don't cause permanent damage because of a fantasy.

    • Travel: Post Covid-19

      Anyone have any travel plans after Covid is over-ish and countries start opening up?

      Would you go back to travelling? hesitant to travel?  Can't wait?  What do you think will happen in our new world when it comes to travel.

      I personally can't wait to travel again, I would take more precautions in airplanes, but not sure if I would travel wearing a mask the whole time.

    • RE: Lawn-mower care - how do I keep mice away?

      In addition, it is never a good idea to use poison since other animals eat mice they will die all the up the food chain, for example Owls.

      Please done use poison there are always other ways to take care of a pest.

    • RE: Easy Vegetable To Raise With A Small Yard?

      @raphjd:

      Carrot fly is out of control in the UK.  You need to protect your carrots by either growing them in raised beds or have garden fleece around them.  Carrot fly can fly up to 1.2 meters.

      lol
