      @sutieday:

      Do note that Communism is not dead in Russia. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) is one of the largest political parties in Russia.

      As of 2015, there are 570,000 members of the Communist Party in Russia.. that is not a whole lot considering the population of Russia is 144 million people.. that's 144,000,000 people..  they have been out of power for the last 26 years.

      We all have our crosses to bear.  The USA is stuck with the Democratic Party, which is about 50% of the country, and they have only been out of power for 7 months.    (And the economy is now at an all time high!…  Trump is taking on the moonbats and winning.. so hold on tight.. let the fight.. begin!)

      @Frederick:

      Anchorman Scott Pelley suggested that Republican Congressman Steve Scalise's gunshot wound that left him in critical condition was self inflicted.

      I guess the media is only allowed to make these sort of implications so long as the person who was shot is black.

      Media: Martin Shooting Was "Self-Inflicted"
      by Benjy Sarlin and Aliyah Frumin of MSNBC
      July 19, 2013
      A number of media personalities have vicariously described Trayvon Martin's death by gunshot as being self-inflicted, in that he invited trouble the night he was shot and killed by dressing like some sort of street criminal. Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera said Martin’s hoodie was "as much responsible" for the teen’s death as Zimmerman was because Rivera believed it was associated with law-breaking young black men. Before Zimmerman's acquittal Rivera said “I was right about the hoodie, wasn’t I?” on Fox and Friends. “I hate to brag, but I got criticized by every pundit in America when I said Trayvon Martin would be alive today but for the fact that he was wearing thug wear. He was wearing the hoodie. Turns out now that we look at George Zimmerman’s interviews with the police; he didn’t profile Trayvon Martin because he was black, he profiled him because he was wearing a hoodie.”

      Televangelist Pat Robertson said that Zimmerman was right to tail the “fully-formed young African-American male” the night he was killed because other criminals had been seen “wearing these hoods.” These sentiments have been offered in print as well, most recently in the Washington Post, courtesy of Richard Cohen. In entertainment media, musician and National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent declared in a column for conservative website Rare.us that Martin was a “dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe” who was responsible for his own “bad decisions.”

      Trump is the most "hopeful" person I know.  He "hoped" Comey would drop the Flynn investigation.  "Comey had better not 'hope' that there are 'tapes".  You also need to read up on history.  While taping was common in the White House from Kennedy to Nixon, Watergate put an end to the practice for obvious reasons.  That is why there was such a stir over Trump's suggestion that they might exist.
      And why did he wait 6 weeks to deny their existence?–-apparently he was amused by all the press attention to the matter.  I prefer a president who tells us the truth promptly and does not get his jollies from throwing out innuendo.  What will happen when there is a real crisis?  We will have to wait for Rex Tillerson or General Mattis or any ot the other "grown-ups" in the cabinet before we believe a word from Donal Trump.  His track record is just too poor for anything else.
      You say I'm sniffing glue, but you are drinking Kool-Aid.  Good Luck with that.

      Conservatives/Alt-right love to lower the reputation of their opponents, especially on this board.

      So says the person that made it his mission to down vote everything his enemies said, no matter what it was.

      @pppucci:

      Hard to comment since you give no clue about what the story is about.  The only thing I can offer is that major news outlets often rely on news services for their reporting, especially in other countries.  It is usually attributed such as AP, UPI or Rueters.  More details?

      Oh.. I see what you are saying.  Yes, reporters used to rely heavily upon information from AP, UPI or Rueters.    What I am referring to is quite different.  Reporters at one horrible news outlet copying information from reporters at another horrible news outlet (or even from within the same news outlet).  Sort of like the National Examiner getting their information from the National Enquirer.  "Yes, the government has captured a dozen aliens from a crashed UFO.  10 of them were 9 foot tall bigfoots, led by a clone of Hitler, and the captain of the ship was the real Elvis - who is not dead!  We got this story from the Weekly World News.. so it MUST be true!"

      The story I am referencing would take too long to explain.  The story itself is not relevant to this topic.  It takes place in Canada.  Very few people are aware of this, but most of the media in Canada is controlled by FRANCE!  Their biggest news outlet, which has a veritable monopoly on the media in Canada - is the TVA - which is owned by France!

      Despite massive, overwhelming, record breaking, leftist support for her opponent Jon Ossoff,  Karen Handel defeated him.

      That brings the liberals to 0 wins and 5 losses in the 5 special elections since Trump became president.

      @Frederick:

      Some yoyos keep posting polls indicating Trump's popularity sinking.
      Have we not learned about polls yet?

      About 2 years ago, the corrupt fraud conservative Stephen Harper was supposed to easily win another term as Prime Minister of Canada.. he LOST!

      7 months ago, Hitlary Cliton was ahead 20% in the polls and seemingly everybody (except me) was convinced she would win.. she LOST (despite spending 4 times as much as Trump).

      Last year with Brexit, the polls said that Britain would vote to stay in the EU, but surprise surprise.. they voted to EXIT the EU.

      A couple of weeks ago.. an election was held in the UK that was supposed to be won by Elizabeth May by at least 20%.. however, she lost so many seats in parliament that she no longer has a majority and is scrambling to figure out how to govern.

      In a special election in Georgia that is taking place today, this dweeb aniti-trump moonbat Jon (Ass Jackoff) Ossoff running against Karen Handel and was supposed to win by a huge margin, and had spent over 10 times as much as Handel.. yet it looks like Handel will win.

      This silly polls that bozos keep referring to are worse than useless.  Polls have become a tool of propaganda.

      On the other hand.. take a look at a REAL measure of popularity… the Dow Jones Average.  From 18,332 on election day.. and now an all time high of 21,514.    An increase of 17.4% in just 7 months since Trump won the election!  Whoo hoo!   :cheers:

      Okay, so the stock market doing well is not an indicator of #45's popularity increasing. If anything, his popularity with investment bankers and wall street is going through the roof!

      Not just the stock market, but the entire economy.  That is a major indicator of a president's popularity and success.
      The sniveling snots who still can't get over not having their bitch witch Hillary as president have nothing but their moronic opinions.
      An opinion and $8 will get you a smoothie at Starbucks.  Those polls are garbage, and have been proven over and over and over and over and over and over again to be wrong.

      Otto Warmbier, the student who went to North Korea as part of a group of tourists.. and was imprisoned for stealing a poster from his hotel.. tortured, and remained in a coma for over a year.. and returned to the USA days ago.. has died.

      Imagine in hotels in the USA did that to people who stole towels!

      Something I wonder about..
      Why was there a camera pointed at the poster in that hotel.
      Why did the people in the hotel report such a petty theft?

      Unless he uses the  :police:, raphjd's comments are basically from him as a regular user of the forum. He actually hasn't misused his moderator position from what I've seen. When he makes statements like the one in this thread, that's him speaking as a user not as moderator. When he stated the forum will no longer accept the use of libt*** or trumpt*** in any discussions, he was speaking as moderator.

      I think  libt*** and libturd are allowed.. but not libtard.

      :police:  The use of "tard" (as well as "retard") is banned.     You MAY use it if it's a quote, like with Trump and that reporter.   :police:

      @Frederick:

      I don't consider calling a piece of crap "shit" an insult.  If I were to make up a word.. such as "Wagdoodle" and apply it to posters such as Sutieday and DrWas,  they would consider "Wagdoodle" to be an insult.   On the other hand..  any label they made up to apply to me would be a compliment!   If they started calling me a "Wagdoodle", then "Wagdoodle" would be elevated to the status of being a positive compliment.

      "Shit" is an insult because excrement is unpleasant, not because of the sentiment behind using it Stick to wagadoodle. It is much more entertaining.

      @Frederick:

      Seems that Comey stole a lot of top secret / classified / confidential documents that are the property of the United States after he was fired.  That's a massive no-no.  Bad boy, bad boy.. what's he gonna do?  What's he gonna do when they comey for him?   :police:

      http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/06/16/judicial-watch-seeking-documents-unlawfully-removed-by-comey.html

      Youtube Video

      The article refers to the unclassified memos that Comey wrote himself about his conversations with the President.  No matter what you believe about the deliberate release of these to the public,  don't imply it is more than it is.

      Don't know the specifics.. however, Comey had no business removing anything.  Even his own memos are the property of the United States.
      There is more to this.  After being fired, Comey handed over a big fat package of documents related to Trump to Herr Mueller.  It was illegal for him to do that.  Those were not his documents to give.. he stole them.

      I actually find this witch hunt amusing.  A witch hunt that goes nowhere winds up making fools of those perpetrating it.
