    • Bill Cosby

      Most people have a distorted image of Bill Cosby.  He has been a lifelong racist.  His comedy has ALWAYS played heavily upon strong racial stereotypes.   The only time he portrayed black people nicely is when he was blowing smoke up his own ass portraying the lovable, Mr. Perfect - Dr. Huxtable.   Cosby often criticized black people and black culture..

      Take a look at this compilation of Cosby's animated show.  Do you think that this show could be aired on public television anymore?  Is it not extremely stereotypical and racist?  Notice that the only "normal" character in the show is "Bill" the character based on Cosby.  The rest of them are an incredibly obese pig, and buck toothed fool, a slick pimp, an annoying midget, some Zulu who is dumb as dirt, and a moron whose head is covered by a stupid hat with his eyes poking through holes.  This is hardly flattering to black people.

    • RE: Trump isn't actually Republican or Democrat

      @abcddddd:

      @mhorndisk:

      I know a lot of you hate Trump just because he ran on the Republican ticket, even though you don't realize this is the reason you hate him. You know he has a history of supporting Democrats. The point is, he is for neither party. He is here to drain the swamp, which is infested by both sides. It doesn't make sense to hate him "just because" he ran on the Republican ticket and "just because" you hate Republicans. He's not a politician, he's a Statesman. He's not a Republican, he's a Libertarian. The only reason he ran on the Republican ticket, is because Hillary had the Democratic ticket, and because it would be useless to run as Independent. He is an Independent. He doesn't support Republicans - he knows they're corrupt, he only pretended to be one. He destroyed John McCain and Lindsey Graham. He has no loyalty to that party. And those parties have no loyalty to us. You have to read between the lines and stop with the idea that he works for the Nazis. It isn't True. I'm sorry you haven't been able to grasp this information yet, but you will.

      I'm curious what you think about this, since you make these claims so confidently. Do you mind answering a few questions?

      What do you think Trump means by "swamp"? What is it about our government that was swamp-like before he was elected?

      While making a distinction between what he says and what he does:

      What do you think Trump is doing to drain it?

      What is Trump doing that makes you believe he has any loyalty to us in a way that other politicians don't?

      Don't treat this like a debate where we're both out to cut each other's throats. Pretend I'm an honest skeptic.

      I think I can answer most of those questions…
      Washington DC is referred to as "The Swamp" because before when it was selected as the spot to put the US Capitol, it was just some nasty wetlands on the Potomac River.  It was never a swamp, but it has always been euphemistically referred to as "The Swamp".  It is an established nickname that goes back over 200 years.  It was land donated by the states of Maryland and Virginia (useless land that they had no use for).
      Trump used the nickname "The Swamp" sarcastically.  When he said he would "drain it", he didn't mean drain it of water, but drain it of all the murky, creepy, underhanded, vermin that infest it.. meaning the overwhelming presence of ultra-liberal, politically motivated moonbats that put their own agendas ahead of the good of the country and the good of mankind.  That is why 97% of the donations from Law Firms went to the Democraps.  As I pointed out earlier today..  Law firms / lawyers prime goal is to find ways to GET AROUND the law and use it for their own purposes.  This is why virtually all legal documents are written in a non-existent language of "legalese" that honestly the judges and lawyers don't even understand.  These laws are written cryptically, leaving them wide-open to interpretation.  The lawyer who is more skilled at interpreting laws into bullshit they can present in court typically wins the case.  Hillary is an EXPERT at twisting and abusing law to suit her own needs.  She could argue that black is white, and night is day.. and WIN the argument!  She is extremely deceptive, and a formidable con artist (one who is skilled at instilling a feeling of confidence in others).
      A big reason that the people who like Trump give him there loyalty is that Trump has nothing to gain from being president.  It really doesn't benefit him in any way, in fact it hurts him personally and financially.  He made it clear that he can't be bought nor influenced, and will do what he thinks needs to be done to fix the country.  Trump has said many times that he would never run for president UNLESS the country was so screwed up that only someone like him - who is not able to be pushed around, influenced, and bribed - can have the objectivity and ability to fix the problems.  Because of the 8 year disaster of Obama, with no candidates worth a damn running for president (Sanders, Hillary, JEB!, Rubio, Kasich, etc.)  Trump jumped into the race.  Trump was the #1 candidate from the beginning of the 2016 presidential campaign, held that throughout the campaign, and despite the Republican party vehemently objecting to him.. the PEOPLE put him up as the Republican candidate with their staggering support.
      Now some moonbat will say "well, not a huge amount of people showed up at the inauguration".  That is because Washington DC and Maryland and Virginia are all overwhelmingly liberal moonbats.. far more than any other part of the country.  The citizens residing in those areas are not keen on Trump.  It was also RAINING which is why former president Bush was making a fool of himself trying to put a rain poncho on with Dick Cheney watching.

      A 30-year-old Muslim man has been sentenced to death for posting ‘blasphemous’ content on Facebook in Pakistan.

      Taimoor Raza was sentenced in Bahawalpur in eastern Punjab province after being arrested in 2016 for posting offensive content about Sunni leaders and the wives of Prophet Mohammed on the popular social networking platform, the Associated Press reports.

      A Shia Muslim, he had previously been arrested by the counter-terrorism force after a complaint was made that he was showing people offensive material on his phone at a bus terminal.

      Pakistan has strict anti-blasphemy laws, and anyone accused of insulting God, Islam or a religious leader can be sentenced to death.This isn’t the first time the harsh sentence has been handed out in the Sunni-majority country. In 2014, a Christian couple were found guilty of sending a text message insulting the Prophet to the imam of their local mosque.

      Pakistan’s blasphemy laws are a violation of human rights, and are often used against religious minorities, according to a new report by Amnesty International.

      ….............................

      These are the peace loving people you want to come live in the west.

      Does that mean that if I go to Pakistan, I can't call them "Diaper Head" or "Dancing Q-tips"?  (by the way.. Pakistan was the country protecting Obama Sin Laden)

    • RE: Federal taxes and Puerto Rico…

      @raphjd:

      The US no longer needs Puerto Rico.    It has no strategic value with modern warfare, which is why we "needed" it originally.

      Most Puerto Ricans don't seem to like the US much, even the ones living in the US.

      I have also found that to be true.  But I don't quite understand it.  I took a look at the streets of Puerto Rico with Google Maps.  It is.. a DUMP.  Just about every state has it's good and bad parts.  I could find no good parts in Puerto Rico other than the parts with no people living there.  It has some beautiful mountains, etc.
      As for the developed parts.. it is all quite run down, and doesn't have many stores of any significance.  The only buildings worth a damn are the hotels.

      I bet they have very lax drug laws.  Not many drug addicts would like to fall under federal jurisdiction.

    • Federal taxes and Puerto Rico…

      I didn't know this until today.. but realizing that people in Puerto Rico don't pay federal income taxes is a two-way street.
      Even without being a state, Puerto Ricans can move to the USA, but they then have to pay federal income taxes.
      On the other hand, a person living in the USA can move to Puerto Rico.. and no longer have to pay federal income taxes.

      You can bet your bippy that there are a tremendous number of people using Puerto Rico as a tax haven.  Making it a state would eliminate it as a tax haven.  Therefore, don't count on Puerto Rico becoming a state anytime soon.

      Canada as a similar situation with some islands that are tax havens.  There was a huge issue roughly 30 years ago involving online gambling.  It was BANNED in the USA, so they started doing it via Canada.  It was then banned in Canada as well, but the company in Vancouver, Canada got around that by operating out of certain islands.  One of the largest Canadian online gambling companies was also doing live streaming porn shows in which people paid huge amounts of money for subscriptions.  They were actually a money laundering operation with fake accounts paying to be members, and not actually being members.  That site used to allow people to log in without real memberships to watch the shows just to make it look real.  That company is long gone, so forget about looking for it.  One other funny bit of trivia… before the porn and online gambling.. they started out as an ice cream company!  They were also an internet provider - which they needed to control the online gambling and porn through their own secure channels.

      BLM is so entitled that they feel that they can hijack anything and everything.

      Ok, it's an off shoot of BLM called No Justice No Pride.   They don't care about the LGBT community, just the bullshit BLM narrative.

      Last year they hijacked the Orland shooting vigil and turned it into a racist anti white people thing.

      More proof of black privilege.

      I think BLM is actually hurting the democraps.  The people who support BLM were already democraps.. but by going public with a visible group called "Black Lives Matter", they have ignited the resolve of the right to actually vote instead of staying at home.

      Hillary is a champion at lying, covering her ass, obfuscation, and deception.  If I ever needed a lawyer, I would hire her in an instant!  She could defend Satan himself and get him off.

      Amazing your lack of introspection.
      Amazing.
      You are the poster child for hypocrisy.

      Any Trump supporter condemning Clinton for lying is a hypocrite. Trump lies constantly, as a non-stop flood, as a purely compulsive behavior.

      Hillary Clinton is actually MORE HONEST than most DC politicians- granted, that is not saying much, but an independent analysis showed only one politician with a higher rate of true statements- and that was Obama.

      Trump had only one person who lied more than him- Michelle Bachman.

      Oh shut the hell up Magentas. We ALL know she's GUILTY. PERIOD. Only someone with half a brain cell in their mind could actually think otherwise. She used BLEACH BIT to destroy all the records on her computer in her bathroom AFTER a subpoena. That's downright criminal. How dare you sit here and talk to us like we're retarded. We know she broke the law, and we know she's guilty. There is literally nothing you can say that changes what she did - which was an OBVIOUS violation of the law. You're out of your mind. As a gay man, I stand against you 100% for this egregious bullcrap you're promoting. We all know it's fucking dumb. So just stop it already. It's getting to the level where it's actually embarrassing us as a gay family. You need to check yourself into a mental facility.

      Hillary is fascinating.  She is pretty much.. a LAWYER.  People don't understand what a lawyer is.  A lawyer's function is to WIN regardless of reality, regardless of guilt or innocence, regardless of the facts.  A lawyer is an ADVOCATE for their client.. and is supposed to be completely loyal to their client.  In Hillary's situation, she acts as her own lawyer, and does a fantastic job.  She has dodged and avoided many crimes that would put her in prison for the rest of her life.  She is slicker than her husband "Slick" Willie.    A lawyer is SUPPOSED to be truthful, but they cleverly get around that by avoiding the truth, being obscure, and omitting facts.  If a lawyer gets CAUGHT in a lie, they can be disbarred.  By the way, very few people know this, but Bill Clinton was DISBARRED as a lawyer!
      I actually had a lawyer disbarred once.  She had been convicted of a felony.. yet was still a practicing attorney.  You can't be a practicing attorney if you are convicted of a felony.  This woman pissed me off.. so I printed up the evidence of her felony conviction.. with a letter of explanation that she could not practice law with that conviction.. went to the courthouse when court was in session, and passed out the evidence to her clients, and to the judge.  She ceased practicing 2 weeks later and was eventually disbarred.  What I did might be considered mean.. however.. what she tried - and failed - to do to me was unbelievable.

      Lawyers are mercenaries.  To be more blunt.. they are slime.

    • Who's to blame? Trump or Obama?

      AFTER the election, Obama hit Russia with sanctions to punish them, and subsequently put the blame on Russia for the election loss.
      Keep in mind.. this was AFTER the election.  Why didn't Osama institute these sanctions BEFORE the election?  It's because, they were based on CRAP.  Furthermore, after an election, there is a 10 week period in which the new president (Trump) is the president-elect, and given time to get things organized before officially taking office.  Obama had NO BUSINESS doing anything so overt as instituting sanctions upon Russia during this post election period.
      And of course.. when Trump removed the sanctions.. he got blamed by the moonbats for doing it.  In fact, just about all the brouhaha over what Jared Kushner did with the Russians was AFTER the election, when Jared assured the Russian ambassador that the sanctions would be removed.  Nothing wrong with that.
      And yet.. you can bet your balls that next week, Herr Mueller and his newly hired Nazi interrogators will stand on their heads trying to smear and damage the presidency of Donald Trump with this bullshit.   I wonder if Mueller is foolish enough to permanently stain his reputation by attacking Trump and kissing the ass of his buddy Comey.

      @flozen:

      I think that many men should not occupy positions of leadership because of their far-greater tendency toward violence in conflict resolution.  We could start with Putin.

      Honestly, what a poll question.  Gays who promote "period shaming," and oppose equal rights and opportunities for women?  You are living fossils.

      I suppose you've held these long-antiquated views for decades, what a pity, you must be growing so embittered in your dotage.  Nurse, someone's colostomy bag needs changing.

      Actually.. Putin has shown great restraint.  In regards to the Crimea.. the Crimea is an island off the coast of the Ukraine that was in a severe crisis bordering on civil war.  Nobody within the Ukraine was able to contain it from getting out of control.  Putin did.. and stopped.
      The Crimea is but 1 of 30 regions that make up the Ukraine.  By the way, the last time we heard of the Ukraine it was when a guy POISONED HIMSELF and blamed it on Russia, to generate support and sympathy for an election - which he won.  It wasn't until AFTER he won and recovered that it was determined that he poisoned himself.  If someone dares to refute that, I can take the time to dig it up.

      http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/russian-mastermind-behind-online-suicide-cult-held-by-police/ar-BBCqPe1?li=AAmiR2Z&ocid=spartanntp

      The alleged mastermind behind a suicide cult targeting vulnerable children through social media has been arrested in Russia.
      Ilya Sidorov, 26, is accused of encouraging youngsters to self-harm and kill themselves in a twisted game likened to the "Blue Whale challenge" that has been linked to more than 130 deaths.

      Children who join the morbid groups are told to cut themselves, watch horror films, and go without sleep as they carry out a series of "tasks" apparently aimed at damaging their mental health.

      On the fiftieth day of the "challenge" they are told to commit suicide.

      Mr Sidorov is said to have recruited up to thirty-two schoolchildren to his group before his dramatic arrest in Moscow.

    • Using the "gay" label when it's convenient.

      When I was in college, one sure way to get out of the military / ROTC was to say you are "gay".  This was done more than people shooting themselves in the legs and feet or threatening suicide to get out of their commitment.
      I know of many cases where the person was completely straight, but just used the "gay" label to get a ticket out.
      This is not unlike "Klinger" in MAS*H who would dress in drag hoping to get a "section 8" discharge.

      It's sad that no matter what rule or law is made, that someone ALWAYS finds a way to abuse it and use it to their own fraudulent advantage.

      It's a shame that many things that would be good are tightly regulated to avoid abuses.  For instance, with medications.. there are a lot of very effective medications that do many wonderful things.. that you can't get, because a few idiots abused them, resulting in fatalities.  A few examples:
        Fen-Phen was a popular weight-loss drug combination, which contained fenfluramine (which was marketed as Pondimin) and phentermine. Side effects of Fen Phen have been shown to increase the risk of serious and potentially life-threatening injuries, such as pulmonary hypertension and heart valve problems.  Some people grossly overdosed on Fen-Phen hoping to lose more weight, faster.. and wound up having fatal heart attacks
      Oxycodone has it's uses.. and misuses.  Rush Limbaugh was famous for illegally obtaining huge quantities of the stuff that had the side-effect of making him nearly DEAF!  He had to have major surgery to restore some hearing.
      Various cocaine derivatives - if you have ever had PRK which is the same as LASIK only without a flap, you know that the post operative pain lasts for WEEKS and is crippling.  LASIK has no post operative pain.  Anyway.. there is a cocaine derivative called Tetracaine that is an eyedrop that eliminates the pain.. but getting any from your doctor is damned near impossible because it is SO good that everybody would be abusing it.  I happen to know that some doctors get a supply of that stuff.. and keep most of it for THEMSELVES.
      Provigil/Nuvigil - this stuff keeps you awake and alert with no significant side effects (other than to your wallet), and is safer than caffeine.  However, it is extremely controlled, because it was getting abused by people, including college students, who would take it to improve their scores on exams.  It is considered a "Smart Pill".  Imagine if such a pill was prescribed to moonbats!  They would all turn into republicans!  Therefore, it is almost impossible to get.

      Ironically, some things which SHOULD be controlled such as minoxidil and Viagra, etc.  which were manufactured for heart related issues are freely available even though technically they are controlled substances.. because nobody is going to restrict someone's right to have hair on their head and a boner.

      @pppucci:

      @raphjd:

      As someone already said, they only want to become a state so the US tax payers will bail them out.

      There has been a strong statehood movement in Puerto Rico for more than 50 years.  The main argument is based more on security than economics.  Most Puerto Ricans would suffer financially under statehood since they would be liable to pay federal taxes.  Under the no taxation without representation concept, they are exempt from federal taxes now.
      It could be argued that statehood with give them protection under Title 9 of the bankruptcy clause, but Congress could do that alone by law.  There is certainly no guarantee that statehood would prompt a bailout.  Remember President Ford and NYC?

      You hit the nail on the head there…    NOT being a state makes them exempt from Federal taxes, and who wants to pay taxes?  A LOT of people move to Florida to avoid state taxes.
      One thing about taxes.. tax RATES should technically never change.  However, in Florida, the sales tax used to be 4%, and now it is typically 7%

      I think the conditions now that make Puerto Rico WANT to be a state are the same reason why they won't become a state anytime soon.  They need to be more enthusiastic about being a state when they are not in a state of bankruptcy.
