      @cteavin:

      The verb bar, as in exclude.

      So I wanted to ask what the solution would be excluding war. At present, it seems that accepting a nuclear NK is the only option as everything else has failed up to this point. Further sanctions will not solve this, or will they? They haven't yet.

      OH!  I should have caught that.  You said "baring" missing one R.  Should be "barring"
      Baring would mean exposing..
      Barring is excluding.

      My brain was not functioning earlier today.

      The wold, but especially the US, panders to NK with cash and other things every time NK starts threatening the world with nukes.

      The world needs to stop pandering to these ass clowns and deal with them harshly.

      A rarely mentioned aspect of North Korea is that the handful of leaders are oppressing over 25 million people.  The people suffering the most from Kim Dung Pu are the people of North Korea.

      So are you saying that the US has the role of world police and therefore the authority (or obligation) to overthrow Kim?

      There is another problem there, because a couple of months ago, China said that they would not allow Kum to be removed from  power now will they won't allow regime change.    Kim is a fun guy.. he not only executes his own friends and family with artillery cannons, he also uses flame throwers and dogs to tear them apart.  I wonder if Kim ate the dogs that ate his enemies?

      If that's actually true then that pushes the conversation back towards the main topic: What would a world with a nuclear-capable NK look like? Baring war it seems more like the option no one is talking about.

      I'm not sure what you meant by "Baring".  I'm guessing "Bearing"?  in other words.. accepting an ongoing state of having a nuclear conflict at any moment with no warning?

      This is incredible.. now football players get in trouble when they DO stand for the National Anthem!

      http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2017/09/25/steelers-coach-mike-tomlin-raps-alejandro-villanueva-for-standing-for-national-anthem.html

      Trouble is a strong word. Simply, sports is dividing along political lines.

      Personally, I watch tv, go to the movies, and see sports games to be entertained, not to be preached to. I'd like all such entertainers to put a lid on their political beliefs. I think a solution is for there to be a clause placed into their contracts that they can no longer do such things or be fined and suspended.

      But why do you think they're kneeling in the first place? Is it a legitimate complaint or just a trend because it's popular to hate Trump?

      Colon Kapernick started that kneeling thing during the regime of Sheik Obama's occupation of the White House.  Can't blame that one on Trump.

      I have personally messaged several celebrities to stop their hateful political comments.  The basic reasons I gave them are:  it divides their fan base - roughly half of the population is republican or democrat - so they are offending about half their fans with their comments;  They are ruining their own careers;  they are making it difficult for their  fans to be entertained by them knowing that they have those strong political views;  they are jeopardizing the careers and success of the actors they work with, the productions they work on, and the studios they work for.

      One that seemed to take the advice to stop being so political was Bryan Cranston.  Gotham's Robin Lord Taylor (Penguin) and Corey Michael Smith (Riddler)  are both so stupid they don't understand why anybody is upset with them for calling for the impeachment of Trump.  The show Gotham is going into the toilet this season and you will never see nor hear of either of those 2 boobs again.. so doesn't matter.  Actor Justin Berfield (Reese on Malcolm In The Middle) and his husband Jason Felts are the mindless minions of Richard Branson.. their movies are a consistent stream of box office bombs.. and they don't give a damn.. it's only Sugar Daddy Dickie's money going down the drain.  It doesn't occur to them that by offending nearly half the country, their movies might not do as well at the box office.

      @raphjd:

      Obama was a massive liar.

      He promised to end all the GWB era spying on citizens, but massively inflated it.

      He promised to end no bid contracts, but kept using them.  It would be sorta acceptable in cases of time sensitive matters, but he kept doing it even with routine things like mothballing ships.

      The only budget CUT I can thing of under Obama was that he tightened the screws on NASA.  Not only did the space shuttle program end under Obama, but nothing to replace it was started.
      HOWEVER, the Aurora project DOES exist.  Those are the huge triangles.  I live near an air force base and saw one flying VERY slowly - about 40mph in broad daylight about 4 years ago.  It was less than 500 feet above me (and 2 other people).  It made virtually NO noise.  Unlike on many TV depictions, the bottom was NOT black, but a dull nickel color.  The perimeter had a thin strip of slightly tan color.  There were no markings (letters or numbers) on it at all.  The only lights were some very small white lights which did not blink.  The 3 points of the triangle were rounded off.  It made a sharp turn - more of a rotation.  If it did not turn, it would have gone right over a major street.  As it was turning, I got back in the car and drove to get a closer look.  When I got up to the point where it made the turn, it was GONE.  One other odd thing that I can't explain is that when it turned, the SIDE view of it was black.  There USED to be various small drones that looked like conventional drones flying over at night, but I haven't seen any of those for about 3 years.
      At the time, an air force pilot lived across the street from me.  I mentioned this to him and he seemed shaken up about it.

      And it's really sad because if you actually believed Trump was racist, you would be screaming about it. Because that would be something really fucked up. But the cold fact of the matter is that it's not True, and you know it, that's why you aren't screaming about it anymore.

      Trump is a successful bussinesman and he may turn out a successful president!

      ;D

      … and I think people are finally realizing that Obama was one of the worst, if not the worst president of all time.

      @cteavin:

      @Frederick:

      NFL kneeling during national anthem began with Colon Crapondick during OBAMA.
      North Korea nukes and ICBMs began with OBAMA.
      ISIS began with OBAMA.
      Losing AAA credit rating worldwide happened under OBAMA.
      Incurring as much debt as all 43 previous US administrations combined happened under OBAMA.
      .. and by the way, it is now known that Trump's claim the the Trump Tower was wiretapped under OBAMA is TRUE!  Which also makes OBAMA a bold faced LIAR!

      Obama, like Trump, is just the face of the problems that have been festering.

      I argue that Obama is not the first black president, that we've never had a black president. Obama is bi-racial. He should have been a bridge between the racial divide. Instead, people have maintained a truly racist belief that black blood contaminates white and so he became our first black president representing the 13% of African-Americans in our country. That alienated many in the remaining 87%.

      That's not Obama's fault. That's the tenor of the times.

      Kapernack is just reverberating that base sound.

      The Middle East problems you mentioned have their sources deep in the colonial past with each generation picking up some of the blame. To single Obama out doesn't solve the problem, neither would allocating Bush, Clinton, Regan their portion.

      And wasn't it Clinton who gave North Korea the means to begin their nuclear program in earnest? Again, each generation in the swamp deserves a share of the blame.

      These aren't partisan issues, but the result of corrupt politics in both the US and the UN.

      In the TV show Kung Fu.. Master Po teaches Grasshopper that everything has an effect on everything else, just like a pebble being dropped into a pool of water.  The further away from the pebble, the less the effect.  All the things I mentioned were simmering before Obama.. but went to the BOILING point during Obama.

      You didn't hear about Tesla in school, yet he gave us the internet, and hundreds of other things. That's because he was a genius. They don't want you to know about those guys. They want you to believe in fake crap.

      There is a lot of truth in that.  Edison is given credit for inventing quite a few things, when in fact, he was merely the boss of a large team of inventors including Tesla.  What happened is that when electricity became available, there was a massive door opened to new devices.

      As for Einstein, pretty much everything he is known for is a result of what he did when he was 28 years old.

    • The heretic pope!

      More than 60 Roman Catholic theologians, priests and academics have formally accused Pope Francis of spreading heresy after the pontiff opened the door last year to allowing divorced and civilly remarried Catholics receive Communion.

      In a 25-page letter delivered to Francis last month and provided Saturday to The Associated Press, the 62 signatories issued a "filial correction" to the pope — a measure they said hadn't been employed since the 14th century.

      @Shami94:

      So when you said 26 days ago "Looks like North Korea is going to get zapped", what exactly did you mean by "about to be" in terms of time scale?

      The nuclear state the USA continues to threaten North Korea and now Iran again, and when they build the same weapons that the USA has in order to defend themselves, the war monger,  fake enemy industry that is the USA uses that as an excuse to threaten them further.

      However, this time China, Russia, Europe, India and increasingly the Japanese people and South Koreans are seeing the USA for what it really is: the primary cause of violence and terrorism in the world. Intelligent and sophisticated Obama was able to fool the world. Everyone sees through the mentally unstable childish micro-penis Trumpanzee.

      It is because Trump is showing incredible patience and restraint with North Korea.  NK already needs to be attacked for what they have already done.  Trump might be waiting for the navy to stop crashing their ships in accidents before attacking North Korea.

      @royalcrown89:

      Yeah, let's ignore President Bigot threatening to violate the deal that our country AND OUR ALLIES AROUND THE WORLD came together on. Why would Iran honor the deal if President Bigot is saying he'll attack them anyway?

      That Iranian ICBM did not get manufactured, fueled, and moved to the launch pad in just 3 days since Trump spoke at the UN.
      Oh, I forget.. in moonbat logic, only the terrorists are allowed to violate deals.  Also, Trump did not violate the deal.  Nor did he say he would attack Iran.  He indicated that the bad deal made with Iran would not be RENEWED when it expires.

      @royalcrown89:

      Starting 2 expensive wars while cutting taxes on the super rich was one of the dumbest things George W. Bush did as president. Well, that and not responding effectively to over 1,000 people dying in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina. President Obama added to the debt because he had to get our country out of the worst recession since the Great Depression. Overlooking that fact would be highly ignorant of recent history.

      You call doubling the debt to $20 Trillion merely 'adding to the debt"?
