With all the talk about sexual harassment/rape what happened to this man is really interesting to me.
1. He was drinking in a country where alcohol is forbidden.
2. He touched a man on the hip – who decided to bring the police into the situation isn't stated.
3. He's already been condemned by the people.
I think most people will look at this and (correctly) see how ridiculous this all is. At the same time, Western people are quick to attack each other for using the wrong pronoun, culturally appropriating something, or just saying that they've been made uncomfortable for something appearing sexual (not that we need proof anymore).
It's easy to point a knowing finger at Saudia Arabia but we've become more like them that we're willing to admit.

I sometimes refer to a man who was framed for a murder (and falsely convicted). One time he was raped, but when he reported it, the police did not believe him and instead stuck him in a mental hospital. The doctors at the mental hospital realized he was completely sane and released him in just 2 days. Meanwhile, the police did absolutely nothing about the rape complaint. I guess only females can be raped.

as for North Korea, what option is there to prevent North Korea from nuking the USA, Guam, South Korea, and Japan other than attacking North Korea? 65 years of negotiations have failed. The premise was to supply them with nuclear power in exchange for them not developing nuclear plants on their own which could be used to produce nuclear weapons. That didn't work out very well.

People are shifting the blame for what they do and how they feel onto a scapegoat. In saying X baited Y, Y took the bait and is equally, if not more, responsible. Trump's repugnant words and actions over the past two weeks have shown absolutely zero respect or regard for members of the military or their families.
I was watching Bill Mahar yesterday, who I think can be really funny, but he started his show by saying that the general was a liar who was covering up for Trump. I get that BM is running a comedy show but with so many people turning to comedy programs (like Sam B, Seth M, and Stephen C) they need to more accurate and less inflammatory.
I see no reason to disbelieve the general. I see every reason why someone in his position would be offended by a senator politicizing the death of a military member – to say so is not slander.
If you listen to the whole of what the general said at his press conference, I think it's clear Trump didn't speak out of turn. Simply put, if you dislike someone everything they do is going to piss you off. It was a lose, lose situation from the start.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately and I really think that this isn't going to end well for women. Men are pigs and men want sex. We have all had met "straight" men and I'm sure all of us have had sex with a few of them. If I was a straight guy I would be terrified to even look at a woman these days!
