    • RE: Evergreen students turn on diehard liberal prof for dissent on "day of absence"

      @strangeloop:

      Bret Weinstein is a biology professor at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash., who supported Bernie Sanders, admiringly
      …
      This professor’s crime? He had the gall to challenge a day of racial segregation.

      TLDR: Racist students call for a "day of absence" where they tell white people not to come to campus.  Professor dissents, students RIOT.  (NY Times article)

      The professor is forced off college campus due to tangible threats, college students seek hostages.

      “Police told me protesters stopped cars yesterday, demanding information about occupants,” Mr. Weinstein told The Washington Times. “They believe I was being sought. It appears that the campus has been under the effective control of protesters since 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police are on lockdown, hamstrung by the college administration. Students, staff and faculty are not safe.

      Threats force closure of the entire college campus.

      Are liberals here going to ignore this blatant racism and downplay it because "their side" is doing it?  Or are you going to disavow and apply those anti-racism principals you guys claim to have?  I'm honestly curious on the liberal response.

      It's almost always the libtards being the bad boys.  The majority of fraud, corruption, coercion, pedophilia, adultery, pandering, rape, riots, boycotts, protests, whining, and lying is done by the liberals.  In fact, pretty much ever war that this country has been involved in has been due to the democrats.

    • RE: NYT: How to Raise a Feminist Son

      @inkball:

      Feminism is merely the belief that women and men are equal. I wouldn't compare it to using public money to religiously indoctrinate children, which is what DeVos supports.

      The concept that men are equal to women is ludicrous.  They are different.  Not necessarily greater or worse.
      In mathematical terms..  "8" is not equal to "0" (or if a virgin "o")

      For thick libtards.. the 8 represents balls and the 0 a vagina.

      Everyone is unique.  To label everyone as being equal is a scary concept.. like being treated like a mixed mélange of ground beef.

      It's fascinating how libtard groups are always calling for "equality".  If that is true, why are their feminist groups, black groups, Asian groups, every other minority groups, every special interest groups.  All of these "groups" should be combined as ONE group if they really want to be treated as "equals".

    • RE: GOP Sen. Not Optimistic Senate Will Approve O’care Replacement This Year

      @Drwas:

      Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) on Thursday indicated that he’s not optimistic about the Senate’s chances to pass a comprehensive bill to repeal and replace Obamacare this year.

      “I don’t see a comprehensive health-care plan this year,” he told North Carolina television station WXII 12 News.

      Burr also said that the House bill is “dead on arrival” in the Senate.

      The senator’s comments come after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said last week that he’s not sure how the Senate will pass an Obamacare repeal bill.

      “I don’t know how we get to 50 at the moment,” he told Reuters. “But that’s the goal.”

      https://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2017/06/02/republican-senator-says-deal-on-health-care-unlikely-this-year/?mod=e2twp

      Even though I posted a video thoroughly explaining this yesterday, it seems to have eluded you.
      When a bill passes in the house, it is sent to the senate - where the whole process starts over again.  So, in essence, all bills that arrive at the Senate's doorstep are DOA. They rework them - which I would admit is a silly process, but that is how it works.  Reagan was famous for wanting a "line item veto" in which the President could veto just certain parts of legislation before signing it.  That would give tremendous power to the President and was not enacted.
      Of course it will be tough to get a bill through the Senate.  You know that not one of the libtard Democrats will vote for it because no matter what is in the bill, they will vote NO because they are the party of NO and very tightly unified.  Although the republicans have the majority in the Senate, there are a few flakey republican senators who withhold their support on bills to blackmail the country to get specific changes to the bill that benefit their own state.
      Meanwhile, the democrats are offering NO input on how to fix the failed disaster known as Obamacare.  Obamacare is already dead.  Insurers have abandon it en masse.  Some have suggested that they should just let Obamacare fade away, and not replace it with anything.  That might actually be the best solution.  Socialism and communism haven't been particularly successful in these areas.  I can think of one exception to that.  Communist Cuba has a great health care system.  The reason for that is that they are a dictatorship.. and they control the healthcare industry with an iron fist.  Doctors don't get to be multi-mega-millionaires in Cuba.  People can't sue for mega millions in malpractice cases in Cuba.

      So, once again.. as always.. you have made an ass of yourself Dr Withering Ass.

    • RE: Kremlin-backed bank contradicts Kushner's explanation for December meeting

      @Drwas:

      The White House has been struggling to explain why exactly Jared Kushner had several secret contacts in December with the Russians, including one in which he met with the head of a Russian state-run bank mid-month.

      Suffice it to say, none of the explanations put forward by the Trump administration add up, and now the bank, Vnesheconombank (VEB), has provided an account that is directly at odds with the White House version of events, writes the Washington Post.

      The bank maintained this week that the session was held as part of a new business strategy and was conducted with Kushner in his role as the head of his family’s real estate business. The White House says the meeting was unrelated to business and was one of many diplomatic encounters the soon-to-be presidential adviser was holding ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration.

      First off, neither of those scenarios necessarily plays well for Kushner.

      A diplomatic meeting would have provided the bank, which has been under U.S. sanctions since 2014, a chance to press for rolling back the penalties even as the Obama administration was weighing additional retaliations against Moscow for Russia’s interference in the U.S. election.

      A business meeting between an international development bank and a real estate executive, coming as Kushner’s company had been seeking financing for its troubled $1.8 billion purchase of an office building on Fifth Avenue in New York, could raise questions about whether Kushner’s personal financial interests were colliding with his impending role as a public official.

      https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/explanations-for-kushners-meeting-with-head-of-kremlin-linked-bank-dont-match-up/2017/06/01/dd1bdbb0-460a-11e7-bcde-624ad94170ab_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-low_kushnerbank-7pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.d99aaff0d242

      Did they have a sale on airplane glue at Walmart this week?  I think you've been sniffing it.
      That story is total nonsense including the title you stuck on it.
      You conveniently left out this line:
      "Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that the bank’s activities “have nothing to do with the Kremlin.” Peskov, like Trump, has frequently dismissed revelations about the meetings as “fake news” and “a witch hunt.”"

      But that is not the big issue.  The big issue is that these alleged meetings were in December..  Hmm.. about 6 weeks AFTER the election.  I fail to see how a meeting 6 weeks AFTER the election helps get Trump elected?
      The story sort of answers it's own premise.  AFTER the election, Sheik Obama decided to punish Russia with a slew of new sanctions.. which is something unprecedented in the history of the country.  Trump was elected on Nov 8.. and Obama is very much a "lame duck" at that point, but is issuing sanctions against Russia AFTER the election?  One might assume that Kushner assured whoever that Obama's sanctions would be terminated just as soon as the President elect Trump had Obama's ass evicted from the White House.
      I'm surprised the libtards have not complained that Trump had a black family evicted from a house In Washington D.C. that they had resided in for 8 years.

      By the way.. since when is it a crime to talk to the Russians?  They have not been communist for 26 years.  Obama was doing his best to re-ignite a cold war to dump on Trump.  Since virtually every media outlet had predicted a landslide victory for Slippery Hillary, it would be silly for the Russians to stick their heads out and get punished by that bitch once she took over for the regime of Sheik Obama.  So.. whatever meetings happened AFTER Nov. 8th are irrelevant.

    • RE: Trumpt**** support the Presidents decision to leave the Paris agreement

      @Cole562:

      GHG emissions from volcanic sources make up less than 1% of emissions from human activities. Volcanoes generate about 200 million tons of CO2 annually, on the other hand 24 billion tons of CO2 is produced annually from anthropogenic sources.

      So natural sources can't be blamed for climate change.

      I checked.. and you are CORRECT about the CO2 emissions!
      Thanks for sharing that.
      I blame the History Channel for having shows suggesting that the planet is doomed by volcanoes, calderas, earthquakes, etc.

      As for climate change.  It is still unclear what is causing that, and if the changes are negative or positive.
      Where I live, the winters used to get bitterly cold for a time.. and no longer do.  The summers used to get blistering hot.. but no longer do.  There used to be severe hurricanes and tropical storms frequently.. and there no longer are.  There used to be months when it would be pissing rain every day, and that doesn't happen anymore.

      I'd say that something more important than worrying about climate change is how the oceans are being polluted.  That is being ignored.

    • RE: Trumpt**** support the Presidents decision to leave the Paris agreement

      @gaypraha2:

      We should reject this deal because it's not in our interests.  Period.  It does nothing to curb the two biggest polluters on Earth today: India & China.  They've only agreed to cap how much more pollution they'll emit, but they continue increasing the amounts yearly under the agreement despite the fact China is so polluted you can't even see China from space.

      Not true: China has signed to reduce by 60% till 2030 its emissions, 40% for europe and a mere 28% for US . Read the agreement first.

      I'm sure you are statement is accurate, but you are forgetting something.. There is no way that China would adhere to that agreement.  They don't follow the rules, they never have, and they never will.  Being a communist country, their government controls everything including the media 100%.  At the moment, they are behaving themselves.  It's in their best interest to behave themselves because countries like the USA are their customers.  However, they do whatever the hell they want to in their own country, and there is virtually nobody there that is going to contradict them.  Their government could say tomorrow that they have cut emissions 99%.. and who is going to say otherwise?

      By the way, the USA already does have a lot of emission control laws in place.  Countries like China have virtually none.  So cutting our emissions even further is a lot tougher than them doing anything at all.

      Also.. other countries utilize nuclear power plants far more than we do.  Nuclear power is a great way to reduce CO2 emissions, but has the danger of nuclear contamination.

      DiCaprio reminds me of the late singer John Denver - who portrayed himself as being a conservationist and lover of nature..  while at the same time buzzing around drunk in private planes and luxury cars (he died alone piloting a plane while his license was revoked for drunk driving).
      Mr. Denver wasn't exactly the nice guy either.. he beat his wife "Annie" (made famous by "Annie's Song") and put up nasty signs all over his property to keep tourists away.
      When there was an oil embargo and gasoline was being rationed.. Denver had an underground tank the size of a bus installed on his property.  Conservation didn't apply to HIM.

      It's True. The Democrats needed the African American vote, so they promised jobs under FDR's New Deal. The African Americans didn't like getting in bed with the enemy, but felt they had no choice.

      Bringing up FDR… FDR also needed to reach out to African Americans for a blunt reason.. as "cannon fodder" for WW2.

    • LBJ and the democrats view of "n*ggers"

      LBJ  (no not El BJ aka Monica Lewinsky)  LBJ the democrat Lyndon Baines Johnson was quoted saying to a group of governors:
      “I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.”
      What he was referring to is fooling black people into thinking that democrats support civil rights.  Democrats use minorities and women to get votes so they can win elections and pursue their agendas - which mostly involve acquiring power.  Liberals are infamous for grabbing power, abusing it, profiting from it, and using it to get away with criminal acts.  Yes, some republicans do this also, but only a fraction as much as democrats do.   Politicians are like lawyers - in fact many of them ARE lawyers.  They don't care about anything but covering their own asses and furthering THEMSELVES.

      That is one of the appeals of President Donald Trump.  He already has far more money than he could ever think to spend.  He sacrificed a life of luxury to be president and be attacked, insulted, and threatened every single day.  Nobody is going to bribe him or coerce him with money.. unlike Ms. Clinton or Obama.. who will say or do anything that gains them financially or garners them support from minorities.  Every black person I have ever spoken to about Obama agrees that Obama did virtually NOTHING for them, and just USED them for their votes.

      Whatever you think of Trump.. he was the best candidate.  Who do you think was a better candidate?

      Trump is actually quite smart.
      I don't care for his strong support of pigs (aka police).  There need to be new laws to hold police accountable for their actions.  They have a tremendous amount of power, and most of them abuse their powers.  The one's that don't abuse their powers are not much better, because they are complicit with the actions of the pigs that do.
      Trump's biggest fault is probably that he leaves himself open to being attacked by libtards.  In his life, he's never had to defend himself.  He could just fire or disassociate from anybody that was giving him grief.  He has not yet learned how to fend off the maggot libtards and piranha fake news media.

      If the president does this, it will make him look guiltier. Keep in mind, this is just an investigation to see if any wrongdoing was done. No one is being charged with anything and so far absolutely NO collusion has been found or proven; therefore, it will look very strange if the president takes this action to silence James Comey this early on into an investigation that so far hasn't proven a thing. If there's nothing to hide, then why not just ignore what's going on let James Comey testify? Maybe what Comey says will be in supportive of the president and his administration. Then again, this administration is known for making things worse on itself  :crazy2:

      http://www.cbsnews.com/news/will-trump-stop-comey-from-testifying-spicer-doesnt-rule-it-out/

      Please, no "libtard" this and irrelevant Hillary talk. Can we have a discussion without derailment for once?

      More libtard crap from you.  Are you getting paid by Hillary's new "resist Trump" PAC?
      Having nothing to attack Trump with, you just imagine a scenario in which Trump MIGHT do something such as invoke "executive privilege".  Executive privilege exists, and some libtard reporter asked Sean Spicer if the president was going to use it.  How is Spicer supposed to reply?
      He can't say "YES" because it's not Spicer's place to be announcing what the president is going to do in the future.
      He can't say "NO" because Spicer can't eliminate an option for the president.
      So, he gave the only answer that he could "it has not been ruled out".

      Libtards are so proficient at imagining things.. so let's imagine that a reporter asked Spicer "is the president going to attack North Korea?"
      Spicer couldn't say "YES he is!" for many obvious reasons.
      He couldn't say "NO" because then if he did, that would not only let Kim Yung Fool off the hook, it would also portray Trump as a liar if he then did attack North Korea.

      Reporters need to confine their questions to what has already been done, and what IS being done, and avoid asking questions about what will the president be doing in the future.
