Yes, that link needs to be corrected.

I'd be curious to know if the images are all of clothed Mormon guys unaware that they will be fetishized, or if you see them also wearing less.  But I'm sure there's an audience, even for a clothed book.

My best friend, a non-Mormon, lived in Salt Lake City for a while and developed quite a taste for those young men, lol.    😊

    • RE: One star spammer!

I have noted one-star spammers in a specific context:  Members who don't like a certain Category such as Older, Trans, or a particular OnlyFans celeb – and add their single star long before any downloads are complete.

It's a childish and unhelpful way to behave, of course.

One way to stop this would be a system edit where members must wait until an entire download is completed, before that particular star rating system becomes "unlocked" and available to them.

Would such a change be helpful if honest ratings are the goal?  My thinking leans toward "Yes."

Some may claim a right to vote if they have already seen a movie or clip that they love or hate, but as they haven't seen the viewing quality of that particular upload, I think they have less standing than those who have actually downloaded.

In any event, whether this change is possible with GTRU system formatting abilities, I haven't the slightest.

I say "hoped for" shirtless pics, as I have already Googled that poor search engine until it almost imploded.

You would think that in the hot, dry Afghan climate, there would be at least a tank top!  No luck as yet.    :blownose:

I find Pete exponentially more sexy with facial hair – he sported a mustache and full beard in the Reserves era.  Along with the camouflage gear, it was... something.     :crazy2:

Where are the (hoped-for) photos of shirtless Pete?     :cheesy2:

As Pete's chances for U.S. Cabinet confirmation are very good, I choose to be optimistic about this LGBT landmark.  Once he is on the job, he should be evaluated on performance, and not a thing to do with LGBT.  That, to me, is fair.

The outgoing Administration made a staggering number of senior-level appointments and hirings that ended as tense resignations or firings – most recently, U.S. Attorney General William Barr.  How could so many of these people end up as not "best for the job?"

Graduate of Harvard, and Oxford via Rhodes Scholarship.  Eight years as Intelligence Officer for U.S. Naval Reserve, with seven months stationed in Afghanistan.  Twice-elected mayor.  And someday he will turn 40.

I'm all for breaking down barriers at the highest levels of government, and giving leadership opportunities to LGBT politicians who demonstrate intelligence, drive and commitment to service.

Congratulations to U.S. Cabinet nominee, Pete Buttigieg.

They still have some catching up to do, but Bolivia now has its first LGBT civil union.

    • Anti-LGBT Groups Cash In on Covid Business Aid Program

Born of the Covid pandemic, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) did help a number of small, independently owned businesses.

The U.S. Administration, however, also provided potentially forgivable loans to many highly questionable companies, as well as large Fundamentalist organizations which seek to implement rules and legislation where religious liberty trumps (burp!) LGBT rights and protections.

Among this list were huge payouts to Christian schools with horrible anti-LGBT policies and connected to U.S. VP wife Karen Pence and new U.S. Supreme, Amy Coney Barrett.

And now, a month later, cause of death revealed.  Connery – like most anyone at age 90 -- had several comorbidity factors, including heart failure, senile dementia and pneumonia:

    • RE: Old age and desperation for sex before expiry date?

To begin, I'd be very concerned at the thought of anyone having public gay sex in Bahrain, if that's where it's happening.

The Internet gives anyone many options on meeting first online, and then in a private setting.  So I'd say to anyone:  public (urban) sex isn't wise, and if it's bathroom-type stuff, you will, eventually, be noted by straight men or kids that just want to take a piss, and they don't deserve that.

As for age, rest assured that there are lots of guys – from your own age to just legal -- who have a thing for sex with older guys.  Again, the Internet with the various dating/sexting apps, is a tool in getting a specific match.

Yes, your contacts may have a fetish, but who cares?  Enjoy with confidence, and if they start judging you on age, end the encounter.    :cool2:

There is no "reveal" here, as Smithers has been out since 2016 – the same year that your HuffPost "news" citation was published.

In the past 5 1/2 years since this was actually news, there have been numerous subplots concerning Smithers and the gay angle.  You may like The Simpsons, but you seem not to follow it.

Sweet Christ, you sure do post a lot.

Welcome, welcome, and please take some time to review the "Forum Boards Page" all the way down, where you'll find goodies such as "Requests - Porn," which is where this message should go.

    • RE: Ear cleaning

I can't resist using one cotton swab for each ear about twice a week after a shower, despite most of the medical sites I Googled recommending to let it be unless you have a (rather rare) blockage.

Be sure to not push any wax inward with your swab – dab gently in an outward motion.

Yes, earwax apparently performs a moisturizing function, but I find it unappealing and am willing to risk my dear life to be gone with it.

    • RE: Hey all!

Well, sim, looks like you're making a good effort to say "I'm Here !", and of course, welcome to GTRU.

My first advice is to become familiar with the full range of Board topics – we have a separate Introductions Board (right down from Discussions!), and perhaps an Admin or Mod can relocate this message to that area.

      https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?board=147.0

Your first Poll (for laughs, or intentional?) is currently giving us a choice of the same two answers -- "hey" or "hey" -- so I'll need to think carefully before I cast my vote!  On a more serious note, the site has a Test Board, I imagine you could review your next Poll before posting, so it has different choices -- making it a poll...!

      https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?board=30.0

Above all, take time to review the "How-To's" and Rules, and you'll be able to use the site like a pro.  Cheers.

    • RE: Sean Connery died

After a couple days of reading retrospectives on Sean Connery – both good and not-so-good -- I found this article that balanced the "creation and durability of Bond" as well as his later, non-Bond roles.

Lots of interesting and lesser-known details, from a site generally known for its conservative reporting...

    • RE: Sean Connery died

Farewell to Mr. Connery, for me the essential Bond, never equaled.

My favorite "non-Bond" Connery film is The Offence (1973), directed by Lumet and a grim, ripping role that showed Sean's acting range went far, far beyond vanquishing supervillains.

      https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070468/?ref_=tt_urv

Born to a hardscrabble life in Edinburgh in the bygone era of 1930, perhaps that sheds some light on his unfortunate remarks about slapping women.

      https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainment/entertainment-celebrity/sean-connerys-controversial-comments-about-slapping-women-resurface-after-his-death/ar-BB1aCmhs

Later on, I would howl with laughter when Connery was played by Darryl Hammond on Saturday Night Live's "Celebrity Jeopardy."  The first of that long-running skit is embedded in the article below, but as years passed, Hammond's Connery got better – even saltier and more hostile to Trebek.

      https://movieweb.com/saturday-night-live-sean-connery-darrell-hammond/

      RIP, RIP.

    • RE: RE-SEED REQUEST (BUTTON) ABUSE… FINALLY EXPLAINED! OUR GUIDELINES:

OK, so there is a member who is adhering to the new "once per day" re-seed guideline, but even so, he is now on his fourth or fifth consecutive day of requesting the same upload, and I would prefer not to see it in my Inbox going forward.

I blocked him, but the upload requests are still coming through, which leads me to ask whether a block should include all forms of messaging – as it apparently does not cover re-seed requests.

Any input from senior staff appreciated, thanks...    :cool2:
