Of course you can. Some religions don't really mind. Most of the time a certain religion is not against a certain sexuality per se, it's just something their followers turned into their creed. There are even some cults who encourage it.

I personally hate when I hear about those types. They made a choice and they knew the "rules". If they want to support their religion or local community they can do so in a lot of ways, they don't have to become a priest for this.
