@iridium85 It looks like something from He**x studio. I heard someone mention the name "Garrett," although he might not be in this scene. You can search their website on "Garrett" and there are three of them. One of them is bound to show preview pics from this scene and you can narrow it down from there.

RE: Site duplicate rules as applied to AI enhancement
@drekkin Interesting point. I think trying to enhance something scraped off VHS would be a real problem.
Digitising from large format film can indeed produce good results. There are lots of older films that have been re-scanned with good results--even "Wizard of Oz" from 1939 looks good. But as you say, it's an expensive process, and not cost-effective for 1970's porn to be done that way.
I appreciate the good intentions of people re-processing older porn films. It doesn't always produce the best results, but it's nice that someone would go to the trouble and then share with others.

RE: Site duplicate rules as applied to AI enhancement
@drekkin The one I saw was posted today, and is now "unregistered." I downloaded the upscaled version and it's watchable, although I don't have the original to compare. The original was shot on film, with evident dust, fibres, and scratches. That probably plays havoc with software.

1971 SD video upscaled to 4K
I saw that listed. I notice that the "upscaled" version file is the same size as the original, which seems odd.
From the sample still images, it looks like there's an improvement in quality, but video can be different. I wish upscalers would include short samples of the same material from the original video and and upscaled version to allow comparison. 30 seconds would be enough.

Today utorrent warned me of a new update.
I had a similar problem a while back: uTorrent installed a new version of itself (3.6, I think), filled with problems. I followed the process from john321 above and installed version 3.5.5. It's worked fine ever since. Be sure to follow that last step of unticking both boxes under "updates:"
to make sure the software doesn't "help" you again in the future. -

Yes, you certainly have. I'm curious why. Nothing's going to change.

It seems that the OP is advertising a commercial porn site. That's probably not kosher/halal/permitted in the forum.

RE: how can I search my own comments on torrent page?
On the torrent search page, you'll see your username at the upper left. Click on that to get a drop-down menu. From that menu, click on "Details & Stats." On that page, towards the bottom, you'll see "Torrent comments" with a number to the right. Click on that number and it will bring you to a page with all your comments, 25 per page, overflowing onto additional pages.
I think this will only show comments on torrents that are still active (posted) in the system, even if it's dead with no seeders. If you commented on a torrent that was taken down for one reason or another, I don't think that will show up. (I'm not absolutely sure about this, but I did a small random sample of my older comments, and every torrent showed up.)
Happy hunting!

RE: Request: In Thrust We Trust
@kingjamking I'd also suggest that you download the torrent and start it in your client even though there are no active seeders. If I get a reseed request and I see that there's someone trying to leech the stuff, I'm more inclined to jump in...assuming of, course, that I still have the content.

RE: Excessive Load Warning !!!
@lololulu19 I took it from one of the preview pictures at https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=0d48b5058b3ae6573f627acd8bc2072f7e65d4d57e9e146e . There's probably a way to make an animated .gif from bits of the video, although I don't know how that's done.

RE: Excessive Load Warning !!!
Maybe this is an excessive load?
As for the website issue, reloading the page usually fixes it.

I also can't think of any unique or exceptional way that the Church damages gay people.
Really? REALLY? REALLY?
Perhaps you need to think harder. If you want to continue this topic, move it to the Religion forum group...but I won't take part in that.

No worries--I probably shouldn't have clicked the "reply to you" option on that message. I appreciate your steady hand in these discussions and the quality of your posts. I don't think you could ever offend me, but please don't take that as a challenge.
@blaberg said in Pope Emeritus (aka former Pope) Benedict XVI dead @ 95
you're saying he did some sort of special damage as Pope. I can't account for that, except as "Oh there goes the typical incomplete, parochial, gay-lib-tribal viewpoint again, example 1 million.
Oh dear. This sounds like the kind of excrement that one finds in the "Politics and Debate" section. I said above that have respect for the RC church, probably more than most LGBT people. But the fact remains that the church continues to do great damage to LGBT people, and Bennie15 did nothing to stop that.

RE: Pope Emeritus (aka former Pope) Benedict XVI dead @ 95
@flozen I'm not at all defending Ratzinger as Benedict XVI. While he might have been a "theoretical theology liberal" in the 1960's, when he put on a white dress in 2005 he permitted and/or caused a great deal of damage. He certainly had lots of help within the hierarchy in doing this, but as with any bureaucracy, the buck stops at the top.
The whole pedophilia mess is scandalously bungled at every level. (Side note: I have friends who were molested by clerics, and a high school classmate of mine became a priest-pedophile and is now living in Costa Rica or some some place outside of extradition.) One aspect of the social tragedy is that the RC church had/has no monopoly on child molestation--it might be the most public face of it, but some studies (and I don't have a handy reference) say that the most prevalent situations of molestation are schools and families.
In a more perfect world, the RC church could have tried to come clean and say, essentially, "yes, we fucked up, and we're going to clean house. We also want to help the other institutions in society clean their houses." That's obviously not what happened, and the disaster continues. I don't know how it will get fixed. I will say that if I had a child who was being molested by a priest/teacher/scout-leader, etc., I would probably take some rather direct action.

https://www.commonwealmagazine.org/ratzinger-vatican-ii
I don't know about this magazine, merely that the link turned up quickly in a search for "ratzinger theologian vatican 2".Thanks for the link. Commonweal is a reliable source; I remember reading/citing it several times as an undergrad.
The article shows that Ratzinger was what would be considered "liberal" in the 1960's, but definitely changed his views. Those who do forensic psychology could have a field day in examining his motivation.
He will probably be remembered in LGBT circles for his 1986 letter On the Pastoral Care of Homosexual Persons (https://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_19861001_homosexual-persons_en.html ). On a first read of that document, people saw hope when he said that homosexual orientation might not be a choice "in certain cases," and thus the person would not be culpable for engaging in homosexual activity. Unfortunately, he went on to insist that all such activity was "objectively disordered." It's a bit like saying "you were born a bird, and thus the desire to fly is not wrong, but if you do fly, it's a sin." (This bird metaphor is admittedly an oversimplification of the interplay between the very complex topics of free will and sin.)
While I am not a member of the Catholic church, I probably have more respect for it than most LGBT people. I also respect LGBT people who have a long family and cultural rooting in Catholicism, and thus live a difficult life with one foot in each community. My first partner was among that group, and life was a challenge for him.

Reality is a vast mosaic, none of us get to see it all.
Very true! I sometimes use the metaphor of people standing in a circle around an elephant--no one person gets the full concept.
I think it would help the discussion if there were some links or references, especially when an assertion like, "As a young theologian he [Ratzinger] was the key liberal voice at the Vatican." This is not the presumed narrative, so a link to something he wrote/published in that time frame would be very useful.

RE: PIG-PROD Torrents always get removed
There have been many very lengthy discussion threads on this topic, and I don't want to start another one...but the most likely reason is that the copyright owner asked the site to remove the torrent, and site management complied with the request. Some studios are very thorough about finding their material and asking for it to be removed. That's their right if they are the copyright owner. This site's management is very thorough about complying with those legal requests.

It's staged. See https://pbc.xxx/wiki/Category:Czech_Gay_Fantasy_models for a listing of some of the models that worked it.
Too bad it's not real; it would be fun to visit.
