    • RE: 100 days: President Trump is twice as unpopular as President Obama

      @raphjd:

      It's almost comical how he is now downplaying the first 100 days benchmark, when he was the one who specifically made a contract and promise during the campaign about all the things he would do.

      Do you really want to go there?

      Obama promised to end no bid contracts, yet he used them.

      He promised to end GWB era spying on US citizens, yet he expanded it beyond belief.

      He promised to protect whistle blowers, yet he did the complete opposite.

      He played politics over equality for gays.

      It's a pretty long list of Obama election lies.

      Yes, in fact I DO want to go there….but not where YOU'RE going. In case you weren't paying attention this thread is about President TRUMP and the failures that have built up to his first 100 days in office.

      Please stick to the topic. Feel free to talk about former President Obama by starting a different thread.  :laugh:

      Also- if you do want to deflect criticism leveled on Trump, or want to defend him in some way, please stop falling into the non-sequitur of listing the failings of Democrats like Hillary or Obama. Don't be intentionally dense. It's like saying- don't jail me for stealing bread- that guy over there stole even more bread than I did. Please.  ::)

    • RE: What is the best way to loose a belly?

      Exercise would be about 10% to 15%- but the real change has to happen in the kitchen. NOT a diet- which is unsustainable- but rather a serious effort to change what you eat in a way that you can keep doing it for the rest of your life.

      The lessons have always been there, and the research has supported it: More vegetables and fruits and lean meat, less sugar, and processed food like hot dogs, etc. You need to drink water. All other sodas, alcohol, and fruit drinks are an occasional treat. We consume a lot more calories from drinking things than many of us realize.

      Eating smart is the best way to lose a belly- not for a short while and then you regain it all, but for the long haul. Good luck!

      And look at all the winning he's done by now:

    • RE: Anti-Gay Purge in Chechnya

      There was a show of support from an unexpected source: Republican Sen Marco Rubio denounced Vladimir Putin for enabling the purges.
      Every bit of attention and condemnation of the atrocities helps. Specially coming from someone who hasn't been supportive of the gay community in the past is encouraging.

    • RE: Peacefulness and calmness.

      @ddraytton00:

      People please. I wish that at least in this topic we could keep it civil and calm. I understand it's hard to get along, but trying wont kill us  :hug2:

      I fully support and respect the intent of you, and your thread, cheers to you!  :clap2: The discussions on other boards can be much more pleasant and far less heated, and for your own peace of mind, may be a good place to engage instead.  :ghug:

      The meltdown and vitriol here on this thread was unfortunate, but it does highlight something really important and dangerous as stated by grover59: losing the ability to empathize with others. As well as being unable to engage in debate without resorting to namecalling and personal attacks is a failing on our part which harms us all in the end. It's easy to give in to anger and hatred of those views which oppose ours, but it's so important to be open to looking at the other side, to consider once in a while if our point of view might in fact be mistaken, or at the very least if our opponent has some valid arguments to be made. It costs us nothing but pride- and we have far too much of that already. Peace!  :hug:

    • RE: Ranking your best porn companies.

      @rfh005:

      1-Men.com
      2-BelAmi
      3-Kristen Bjorn
      4-Raging Stallion
      5-Falcon
      6-Hot House
      7-Studio 2000
      8-Channel 1 Releasing
      9-Sean Cody
      10-Lucas Entertainment

      Just curious- why is it Sean Cody made the list, but not Corbin Fisher?  😄

      Hard to rank them since it really depends on my mood sometimes. But the top ones are:

      Bel Ami
      Helix
      Corbin Fisher
      Sean Cody
      Sketchy Sex
      Frat Men
      Men mainly for Johnny Rapid and Will Braun!  ;D

    • RE: Liberals vs truth

      @raphjd:

      Not surprisingly, the liberals still won't condemn their fellow liberals for telling lies about me, and others.

      It says everything about liberals.

      While my leanings are liberal (but not always)- I for one condemn personal attacks since they are pointless and accomplish nothing. I respect that you've got your views and the better you express them, the more respect I have.

      For whichever side you're on- at least be well informed and more open minded. Otherwise there's no point in having a discussion. As for lies- the most frustrating thing is that these past months and years have seen the erosion of the line between lies and truth so much, it's always a struggle to tell them apart- but we should never stop trying.

    • RE: Liberals vs truth

      @Frederick:

      Once again, you are wrong about everything.
      First of all, I said conservatives also lie sometimes.. but usually have the right idea.  Liberals have to lie to promote their nonsense.
      Indeed Hillary should be prosecuted and put in jail.. and that still could happen.  However, Trump decided that as long as she is staying at home baking cookies and cleaning the house, there is no point in wasting time and money on her.
      The repeal and replacement of Obamacare is being revived right now….
      The wall hasn't even been built yet.. they are still taking bids from various contractors (many of whom are Hispanic).  After it's built, then comes time for Mexico to pay for it.

      While you are on your high horse.. name one significant thing that Obama ever did?

      Trump didn't say Lock her up unless she stays home making cookies! Hahaha! He said he will prosecute her and lock her up for her supposed crimes. But you know the real reason he isn't? He doesn't have enough proof.
      And also- try to keep up with current events if you are going to debate here-Hillary is out and about and active. NOT baking cookies- she's criticizing Trump for trying to attack gay rights again. Here: https://www.usnews.com/news/ken-walshs-washington/articles/2017-04-21/hillary-clinton-criticizes-donald-trump-on-lgbt-rights

      They are taking bids yes, but there is no way they are getting Mexico to pay for it. The Mexican President has more cojones than Trump does to fall for that. Again here: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jan/26/mexican-president-cancels-us-visit-border-wall-nieto-trump
      http://www.latimes.com/politics/washington/la-na-trailguide-updates-mexican-president-rejects-trump-s-1485404143-htmlstory.html

      And as for Obama? Aside from winning TWO terms in office, and having a much better attended inauguration that left Trump purple with envy, Obama still managed to pass the Affordable Care Act. Obamacare is something the Republicans have FAILED to replace because they have nothing better to offer. Despite controlling all branches of government. And Obamacare just keeps getting more popular. Here: http://www.gallup.com/poll/207671/affordable-care-act-gains-majority-approval-first-time.aspx

      This is how you debate and discuss politics Fred. Not by name calling, empty rhetoric or alt-facts. Try harder next time or don't bother at all. At least make it interesting.  :laugh:

    • RE: Most common body type that has taken over the porn industry

      Interesting question– I don't have any clear evidence- but my impression is that each of the body types is still represented by the porn we have here.
      Although, I do think the jock type and the twink type seem to be the most popular, which might be why there's a lot of uploaded stuff that features them. They have a strong following which makes it seem like they have "taken over".

    • RE: Liberals vs truth

      @Frederick:

      @raphjd:

      The problem is, it's the liberals who are purposely using lies here on this site to end discussions they don't like.  Why aren't conservatives here using such extreme lies to get other users banned, like liberals are using?  It's a very one sided thing.

      Why is an elementary teacher teaching her students that lieing about "the enemy" (read conservatives) is a good thing?

      Why are liberals still maintaining Talcum X's lie that he's black?

      without LIES..  LIbEralS would not exist…

      Wow. Such insight. Such maturity.  🚽 Why do you need to resort to name calling and childish tactics like this? Did you run out of more creative insults or does the idea that there are also conservatives who lie too much for you to handle?

      Here's an example of some research which shows all of Trump's lies in office so far. And no, you can't call it fake news just because you don't like what it's saying.
      https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/politics/trump-claims/?utm_term=.2a85e1fc8dfa

      And how about Trump's lies about prosecuting and locking up Hillary after the election? Nope, not happening.
      Or his promise to replace and repeal Obamacare? Nope. another lie. Fail!
      And the border wall to be PAID FOR BY MEXICO? Big Lie! Good luck with getting that to happen.

      See- all those examples are fact. Not lies, because as adults, we can tell the difference between reality and fantasy.
      But, I guess it's way past your nappy time Fred. I won't borEu with more reasoned and thoughtful discussion. You're just too clever for me.  ::)

      @Dene:

      I STILL haven't seen that - I have not seen a horror movie in a lonnggg time…my mind set is very much sticking to very intellectual things now.. like DC Universe cartoons and a lot of badly acted gay theme films LOL

      You have got to watch The Mist! Just be prepared with some nice DC film to take the edge off after. Have you seen Justice League: Dark? That was pretty good and tons of fun! Have it on after watching Mist. You'll need it.  :laugh:

      Besides, there's also going to be a Mist TV series coming- and it looks REALLY good too! Be sure to watch the movie first.

      I forgot about Carrie!! There have been some really good adaptations of Stephen King books- but the one that really got me and totally horrified/sucked the life out of me at the end was- The MIST! Daaamn.  :afr2: :afr2:

    • RE: Liberals vs truth

      If you're sincere about arriving at an answer to your question raphjd, I respectfully advise you to look at the flip side of the coin and ask the same question of conservatives.
      Because the fact is for every CNN, there is a Fox News. Both sides are guilty of biases and of spinning things to benefit their side. But the responsibility is ultimately on YOU- the one reading the news- to actively seek out both sides to any big story and come to a conclusion based on that.

      So- to modify your question: Why do liberals AND conservatives find it hard to tell the truth? Because it's so easy to think that our side is completely right. It's so easy to demonize our opponents as being liars. Because it's human nature to fall prey to our biases and this in turn leads us to think that anything that disagrees with our world view is a lie.

      We can all fall prey to confirmation bias- to just read all the news and articles which supports our way of thinking. That's a sure way to be blind to the other side, the other half of the story and the main person to be hurt by that blindness would be ourselves.

    • RE: Joey Stefano Film

      Joey Stefano had a tragic story and if it's done well, it can be a really compelling movie.

      I'm glad to hear Jeff Stryker is currently doing well- there are enough tragic stories out there of former porn stars. Having an occasional one with a happy(ish) ending would be nice for a change, and Stryker is a true legend. I'd love to see his story as a movie too!

      @JerodParker:

      OMG Nebula!  I thought I'd hate her for being just there in the first one but I loooove her here.  Her contribution turned the movie around for me.

      Yondu, he has a much bigger role.  That one, I'm not sure if people will like where it is leading.  He got a badass scene tho.  Part of it was shown in the trailer, sorta.

      Mantis was played for laughs as a clueless 'foreigner doesn't get social or cultural' cues.  I know her from the comics but she isn't a spiritual martial artist in the movie.  She was cute but could have done more.  I didn't get her motivations.

      Glad to hear the gave Nebula more depth- as a character she really became more complex in her later comic book appearances.

      Let's go Yondu! Yakka Arrow FTW!  ;D

      Too bad about Mantis- she's supposed to be the Celestial Madonna….but then I guess she'll grow into that in later installments.

      So EXCITED to see it! I will catch it as soon as it comes out!  :cheers:

      It's not an "EMBRYO" after FIVE WEEKS when the BRAIN develops ELECTRICAL CURRENTS. What is your definition of EMBRYO anyway???

      You can't even GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. The fetus us after the EIGHTH WEEK. Hahaha! Here, I'll give you what you asked. You do your own research next time: http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/embryo

      embryo [em´bre-o]
      a new organism in the earliest stage of development. In humans this is defined as the developing organism from the fourth day after fertilization to the end of the eighth week. After that the unborn baby is usually referred to as the fetus. adj., adj em´bryonal, embryon´ic.
