kairinamine, I hadn't heard this. Thanks for posting.
Hmmmm… I like the feel, music and melody, I'm not crazy about the first line saying she'd rather be smoking weed, but I get it.

I've been a Mac/Apple person for the last 15 years and never see myself going back to Windows. I primarily use my Mac for music production, but I've done video editing, DVD authoring, Adobe PS/Illustrator, spreadsheets, networking, etc. I was brought up on PCs, used to build them, and provide IT support on them. I've used every Windows OS from 3.1 (yes the first one) all the way up to Windows 7.
Why did I initially switch? Three basic reasons:
1. I find OS X more stable and reliable than any Windows OS
2. It multi-tasks better
3. Music production and video software worked more reliably (at the time)
4. OS X works without fiddling with Drivers (for most things)
For me, I don't feel limited in what I can do in OS X. It's setup to be very user friendly out the box and that's a good thing for many. But pretty much anything you want to customize can be done so in the System Preferences or in Terminal (text based command line access to OS X). Deeper than that, there are hacks to change anything else Apple doesn't "officially" support.
A beautiful side product is not having to worry about Antivirus or Malware software. That's simply because most viruses are geared towards PC, but still Apple's security is pretty good.
The last thing for me is Apple has a line of products that integrate well together. The Apple TV, with the computer (desktop & laptop), iPhone, iPad, Airport (for networking) etc.
Hope that helps.
PS.. They have dedicated stores, training classes, and people to help you with your software/hardware. The people are pretty friendly and knowledgeable too.
Ok, I saw someone on here mention Scruff and I tried it. That shit (from my experience and in my area) is like Grindr and Jack'd. I got off of that app after 2 days. I think I'll stick to real life meetings. Thanks for sharing your experiences and feel free to add more.
martin526, you didn't post a picture??? :cheesy2:
kairinamine… "She slayed..." literally in this video LOL
I wasn't feeling the song at all when I first heard it. I didn't like the video until I read what 36605domtop just posted. From that perspective "I ain't mad at her." The accountant fucked with her money and $35 Million or $20 Million (conflicting amounts) is a lot of money. Even getting $11 Million back, she was shortchanged and would be mad.
I still don't like the song LOL... but I like her expression of anger and the video. Really gangsta!!
BET mess up a tribute???????????????????? NEVER!!!! I could never imagine it!!!! LOL
Yes, the Janet tribute was really good and she was gorgeous in her "Unbreakable" diamond line. I just wished she performed "No Sleeep." The BET awards would have been the perfect place to perform/promote an R&B/chill type song.
The Bad Boy tribute was entertaining for me. When Lil Kim came up through the floor I said "Who is this woman? She bears little resemblance to the Lil Kim I used to know." LOL It was great seeing everyone back together though.
Unlike you 36605domtop, "Peaches N Cream" was the only song I liked by 112. I agree the performance was weak. I was never into their music anyway. I can't believe Carl Thomas wasn't there? Man, "I Wish" would have been a great replacement for French Montana
Here's a fun tidbit it seems nobody else has caught.. when Chris Brown was dancing up and down the audience (I think that was him), on his way back down towards the stage he was vouging. How befitting during Gay Pride (at least in NY)?
kairinamine, she released another sound clip (I think before "No Sleeep"), not sure if it'll sound like "Go Deep" but for you guys who haven't heard it I'll list below
Agreed.. Actually I feel that way about many actors in general. It was nice in the old Hollywood days when there was a mystique about them. Now I can get a 24/7 soundbite and sometimes a visual of them farting. Not sexy at all
Wait… wait... He (Cannon) said "I'm attracted to beautiful people.. if that cuts a certain race or type out, so be it.. neither of us (boyfriend Damien) is racist"
bebekid drops mic and walks off the stage with that one .
All I could do was laugh.
I'm not too surprised with Castro. While he got through his scenes with guys and it didn't appear disgusting to him, he was much more passionate in his scenes with women.
Are they doing a 3rd Season??? That would be great cause I loved that show.
The Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack has some good stuff to choose from. I'm adding "Earned It" to my sexy playlist >:D
Yeah, she's about to play Madison Square Garden in September.. and that's no small feat. The new album maybe over but she isn't.
Whoa that's great!!!!! I just finished watching the BET Awards and was surprised Janet has sold around 140 million albums.
Did any of you guys see her tribute/appearance?
I wouldn't marry anybody until I've lived with them for at least a year. LDRs can work and be very beautiful, but marriage is another thing. While your visits may be great, that's not the same as living with someone and in my opinion that's how you really get to know a partner. How does he handle household finances, can you agree on household decisions, how is our chemistry after spending everyday seeing each other?
This is just my opinion and experience.
I think it's always been hard. Just because most people got married and stayed married for years, doesn't mean they were in truly happy marriages. I've known many older folks who admitted while their marriage looked good on the outside, they were miserable. Many got married because of other people's expectations or financial reasons. Not because they wanted to. Today, people are more aware of their options. I personally don't think many people who get married are ready for that type of commitment. Some men and women are stuck in a "hoe" or "immature" stage, and getting married won't change change that.
For those who live in areas that have the parades or events, do you celebrate them?
A guy found me on an online dating site and I was not attracted to his pictures at all. I did it anyway cause he sounded nice on the phone and my friend really encouraged me. It was worst than I thought. We can gloss over the physical because he looked better in his pictures. We went to the movies and I think during the movie or afterwards, he laughed and I was sprayed with snot and or saliva. Not the worst thing in the world, but it felt pretty disgusting. We went to karaoke and he wanted to leave immediately cause he was insecure about other guys checking me out. I wasn't even flirting with them (although I should have LOL). To end the night, we went to eat and I ordered something really light and inexpensive like pancakes or something. He ordered a streak, liquor, and a bunch of other stuff. We were doing the evening dutch. The bill came back and was expensive because of what he ordered.. and you know what happened next. His card declined and he had no money. Because it was a place I frequented and I knew the staff, I paid and he told me he would pay me back… I was never paid back.. (but I politely told him I didn't want another date with him).
