What more? Opennic + DNScrypt
Now that I'm writing, does anyone know good (free) dyndns/no-ip type of service that's not/located in the US/NA?

Cool pic MrMazda!
Does the laptop connect to the server or to linkboxes? Are efficiency and exposure reasons to lose few extra steps or?

Btw, I have a bunch of adsl2/vdsl2 modems that I could donate away.
I'm pretty sure it's weekend. I post pics to tmblr and amount of people accessing them is vast compared to the "minuscule few" who surf mo-fri.
hmm those are some Cadinot titles I don't recall ~
First I used utorrent but then I got this craze to go after open source apps. While qbittorrent is a good program, I'm going back to utorrent because there's much more tiny features that are handy.
I sent a report through ^helpdesk that tracker down, I reckon it will be fixed in ~ about time.
you could use less obvious titles for stuff that get's fast/frequent DMCA…
I was thinking that what it would be like to have crowdfunding for new HDD, I desperately need one! I've been reshuffling files to here and there and everywhere, I just added 0.5TB and it's full already.
But I don't have possibilities to get new 2 or 3 TB HDD anytime soon. I'm afraid I have to leave torrent world, I can't help but get more and more and more from a lot of sources, always looking for the version with best quality or convert myself from mkv/dvd, I use h264 so those are always crystal crisp clear.
I mostly only collect full movies. I like military theme, outdoors theme, twinks theme, hung… :cool2:
I have tons of MEGA cloud accounts that I've stuffed full of vids.
I need some solution. I'm saving money for sure.
What I have researched I think one of most cheap (and rather good quality) at the moment are probably Verbatim HDD's, I drool for one 2TB or 3 TB or so Some day, some day
I wonder what happened to that guy here some weeks ago who had crowdfunding for new HDD(s).

So the suggestion is to keep them spinning?
Back up to cloud in the future, get AirExplorer, I'll up it soon.
More than 5 TB
And on the attick some drives with movies about 10 TB
So more then 15 TB (TerraBite)
Wow your awesome
I'm about to add 500GB space - but I'm afraid that will be full in no time due to reshuffling, getting better versions (quality), and getting DVD's as to convert (rip them myself) that way I get best quality (h264!!!) and van share pristine crystal clear videos.
I wonder what happened to that guy who was having a crowd funding for his new HDD.. hmm
No you don't need. Remember that the user is the best AV. Viruses rarely actively seek to enter your system, but rather the user downloads/give access.
In Win 8 & 10 Win Defender is more than pretty basic, albeit bare bones. Disable the cloud option if you don't want to "submit samples/files" without your consent.
3rd party AV's:
i) take system resources
ii) scan your files
iii) phones home
There was a time when I used an AV. I had Avast, but when it got bloated I changed to Panda AV. Even today Panda AV free is one of the most lightweight
Any ideas on how to make HDD's last longer? Some new HDD's have some "intelli" stuff, but I'm talking about a bit older HDD's.
I had my disks to be turned off after 15min idle. Now I increased to 30min. As HDD's are mechanic almost eventually those start to crack and ultimately just brake completely.
Apparently it's not good for HDD longevity the more a disk has to turn on and off? Start and stop spinning?
With constant spinning there's something to be taken into consideration: i) power usage ii) higher temp = can lead to compromised longevity?
Any ideas?
