What they're saying is the easiest way to fix your ratio, if you have content not on the website, is to upload it. That's 0 actual download cost and full credit for all your seeding (whereas freeleech still has actual download time, even if it doesn't count against your ratio).

That is not my experience at all, where in the world are you? If anything u=u & PrEP lead to very little worry about STIs, even though PrEP doesn't prevent STIs. In my area, HIV is a very low concern for people within the MSM arena.

It's even feasible to make commentary on performers. I think a comment here is what alerted me to Johnny Rapid's behavior. But it was just a comment about the performer, and personally I think that's helpful information for deciding whether I want to download the file.

But a debate about whether such content should be allowed obviously doesn't belong on the content page itself.

Personally, I think Johnny Rapid represents a good case as to why I'm appreciative of the hand-off (except illegal content) approach mods take here. While I personally don't need to see his content any more, I'm sure lots of people disagree and reasonably so. Playing "whose crimes cross the 'do not post' threshold?" is a silly game. And that's before we start policing on politics. There are plenty of gay-for-pay performers that have political views some here would find offensive. I've said in other threads recently - the problem here is that we, as a society, have "given up" on the idea of mental health. There is absolutely NO infrastructure in place (other than prisons) to treat these mentally ill people.

ALL other 1st-world countries have mental health facilities - and sick fucks like this one can be sentenced - LONG TERM - to a mental health facility and treated and monitored... for the rest of their lives!

What I know for certain, is that what we're doing now - to both prevent and punish - isn't working!

I was born & raised Christian - I practice that religion today - and, I raised my 9 children to be Christian.

There are only about 2.8m trans people in the USA. At your "offender rate" of 0.33 per million, that's less than 1 offender in the USA.

I think we can agree, THAT is not possible....

BUT, I still say, forget about number of offenders per million -- let's look at total offenders. Truth be told, white evangelical christian men are STATISTICALLY much more of a potential danger to your children than trans people are...

But why look at the results without looking at the problem: gay, straight, trans - THAT's just finger-pointing! Those things are not (according to psychologists) causal to these mass murder events! What IS common is that the perps suffer from mental illness - and this country HAS NO - ZERO - INFRASTRUCTURE to help people with mental illness... well, at least not until they commit a crime (and often times, that first crime is indeed, murder!)

Please - stop pointing the finger at one minority group or another and recognize the need for a REAL solution - some kind of mental health care in this country!

It's so easy to take things personally that, even being aware of this, that often isn't enough to stop me. But despite my disagreements with some rules (among some other frustrations), I absolutely love this site, and I come here every day, and I'm very appreciative of the people like you who chose to work for free just out of feeling the same way.

And just like you said, that's how we learn, and I have learned some new technical stuff about torrents along the way.
