@wholelottagp-0 yeah there's something wrong with the mobile version, it gets stuck doing some random stuff and it freezes the whole page for a couple of minutes. If you put your browser in Desktop mode it loads instantly tho, confirming that it's just poor coding, but it's been like this since the new design was implemented, meaning no one is looking into it and it'll probably stay like this indefinitely.

SMH??? Are you saying that comments about an upload are annoying? Most of my comments seem to appreciated. My point is that unless I can remove a comment to an upload, I'll forever be getting notified of new comments regardless of whether or not the new comment was made to my own. Seems like that would be a desirable improvement here. No?

You can manually type the page you want to go in the address bar. Regardless of if you input any text in the search bar, or use any of the available filters, you can infer roughly where a specific year/month starts based on the total number of pages for your queries.

@plakkerig it's just that you are not logged in the .rent domain. If you log in to both domains you'll be able to switch smoothly from one link to another. Additionally you can use a tampermonkey script to redirect all .rent links back to the .ru domain automatically.

@rosezbornak In addition to john's answer, if you have not downloaded EVERYTHING from that torrent, i.e, if you only selected a few files, that torrent will not count as completed in any circumstance, so don't expect to find it there. In that case you can find it in the "Leeching torrents" list.

First off you need to go to your torrent client and check the torrent's tracker status. If it says "unregistered torrent" that means it's gone and you'll not find it anywhere in the site. Any other status means it's still online, if you don't manage to find it in your torrents list you can just search for it.

@Cram365 Deleted means excluded, removed, ceased to exist. Disabled means inactive, unused, unutilized.

A disabled account still exists and can be accessed at will. A deleted account is completely gone, all information about it is removed, email and username can be used to create a new account.

On the torrent search page, you'll see your username at the upper left. Click on that to get a drop-down menu. From that menu, click on "Details & Stats." On that page, towards the bottom, you'll see "Torrent comments" with a number to the right. Click on that number and it will bring you to a page with all your comments, 25 per page, overflowing onto additional pages.

I think this will only show comments on torrents that are still active (posted) in the system, even if it's dead with no seeders. If you commented on a torrent that was taken down for one reason or another, I don't think that will show up. (I'm not absolutely sure about this, but I did a small random sample of my older comments, and every torrent showed up.)

I appreciate the patience offered by the owner and moderators of this site, when new members are given a second and third chance to learn the rules and to behave in a manner that supports the site, and not actively disparages it.

Equally, I am at a loss to understand why a long-time member is permitted to post the same complaint more than a dozen times -- on a topic that is based on a site rule repeatedly explained to him and all members -- a topic that is now discouraged for further discussion -- along with his comments that would negatively impact new membership.

There have been many very lengthy discussion threads on this topic, and I don't want to start another one...but the most likely reason is that the copyright owner asked the site to remove the torrent, and site management complied with the request. Some studios are very thorough about finding their material and asking for it to be removed. That's their right if they are the copyright owner. This site's management is very thorough about complying with those legal requests.

Thanks, @ianfontinell. That seems reasonable though you could just as easily swap new & old in your approach 🙂 (redirect gaytorrent.ru to gaytor.rent instead, though I suppose that won't work for the forum since community.gaytor.rent doesn't exist yet.).

In any case, I think this is a small bug that will need to be fixed on the path to full migration to gaytor.rent.

@MrMazda I appreciate how complicated--and brittle--internal search engines can be. The sysadmins are to be commended for their work on what is an inherently difficult problem.

Some years back the Dell computer company implemented fuzzy logic/soft comparison processes with its online "help" chat. I remember getting so fed up with it once that I thought I'd ask it if it could sell me Viagra. After a pause, it came back with, "are you having trouble with your VGA adapter?" to which I responded "yes, it won't go in the hole." Things went downhill from there. Unfortunately the screen went blank before I could copy the entire chat.

@mihaig110 Same thing happened to me exactly 8 days ago. The takedown was so swift (maybe 1 or 2 minutes) that no user got enough time to even attempt a connection!
As usual my torrent (2 vids) had thumbnails, description & screenshots, which usually gets through with no problem…

During the 80 minutes preceding that very takedown, I had two more (older) torrents also DMCAed!
(Three unrelated torrents deleted in that short interval of time 😫!!!)
