On most days I get system generated ReSeed Requests.

When I click the link for the desired torrent

the script that creates the referrer is creating a gaytorrent.ru entry.
I get a 404 error message.

I then have to login to the my ID under gaytorrent.ru. Then I can redo the referrer link and pull up the requested torrent. Any subsequent requests work fine till the old userid login times out and a fresh login is required.

Not a huge problem BUT if at sometime in future the old userids under gaytorrent.ru go away, then yeah a problem

I did a bit of double checking.  The problem below appears to be associated with the old IE 11 browser.  I did the same commands under Chrome (Version 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and the issue DOES NOT appear.
I am leaving info below in Just In Case it helps someone else.

(and yes, I am using the antiquated IE but only with GTRU.  I separate everything else to the modern chrome or firefox  :-))

Just saw a change occur in search that I'm not sure was intentional. The change may have been intended to help phones maybe but from accessing via a PC, it's not a good thing for me.

BUT then I change to Full Screen and the info and links are there.  It appears that the main left column is now a fixed width..

NOTE I Really am getting to like the NEW style especially when casually seeing what the latest posts are.  I will just deal with description results screen when I am doing a specific search by going to full screen as needed.

Almost a shock when the new style popped up when I was doing a specific search in response to a reload request. The search I was doing was
Searchresults for "Eric From Paris "

What confuses me are the scroll bars that appear on some of the entries.

on EricVideos - Eric From Paris 06 it scrolls just a bit and will not show the description
on Eric From Paris (Video Series Part 3 of 3) (12-17 +20) it shows a couple of lines but not the full text.  Switching over to the old view I can hover on the text and see the full description. 
On ones with lots of pictures example Eric From Paris # 5 Amateur Bareback or Eric From Paris # 16 (mp4) Amateur bareback (ericvideos) I can only see top cut off of the description but not readable.

Maybe limit pictures to one row. and show description below.  If the description too long then similar to the old interface show the three dots (…) at the end where I could hover and see the full description in pop up box.

Speaking of Pop Up boxes I have noticed and issues with some of the descriptions I have seen on the new main search format pages.  Most pop up ok and are readable but some are popping up like they are left justified and run off the window to the left and are not viewable. but not be a problem for other entries. It does not appear that the "..." being close to the left side of the screen is what causing the issue.

Also just a comment, I am using the new panels as my primary search.  The set of changes you made in the last day or 2 for improved readability Really helped me a lot.

I spend most of my viewing time on the site using the search pages, my comments are focused there.  I looked back over the forum responses for the design work and decided to open up a 2nd window and reverted so I could have side by side look at old and latest revisions in layout.

I appreciate the change in the description font from the paler shade it had been.  Also, the 2 darker shades for the alternating background strips really helps to make the lettering pop out with very good contrast.  Much easier to read now. Thank you!!

Looking side by side at the old and new design of the search page I do strongly prefer the revised layout. I also really like the new brighter bolder choices for completed torrents.  That color grabs my attention, as I try to reload or activate those recycled from the past.

I have switched back to the old interface due to font and format choices that make the new screen harder to read. 
The old interface had both the torrent name line AND the description line using the same font.  The new interface has the description line in a paler font that does not contrast well with the grey background.

I do like that the new interface has the thin black line between torrent entries.
I believe that increased font size and layout of the paging selector area (1-50 51-100 and so on) is a bit too big. Something between the new larger and the old tiny font is suggested.

BUT ultimately it is the readability issue with the description line that pulls me back to the old interface.

By now I think most are aware that something fundamentally changed in the search functionality.
I have been trying a variety of syntax including Boolean search operators with nothing giving useful results.
Only a few varations having any usefulness. What I have found that can work is limited to:

an  * at the end of word can expand some matches
Skyn*
will match up to
SkynMen - Filthy Fucking Orgy
as well as
[Skyn Media] Pool Party Fuck Fest (H 265)
with a total searchresults of 53
BUT a search using
Skyn Men
will yield nothing unless you wrap "" around the term
"Skyn Men"
produced a listing of 13 torrents
Basically we can search either very broadly and then have to wade through a flood of matches or be very specific. For instance "Hooded long cock" matches only to the one torrent (including dead search option).  But that means you have to know the exact wording and will miss alternate spellings etc.
When I first realized search had changed, I went to the Guides section, thinking that I would find a list of new search terms & operators that were implemented with the new search tool's programming.  When that came up empty handed, the reading of general discussions showed I was not alone in "Search Panic"  :crazy2:

HideRef appears to be back behaving normally.
I had logged back in and had two more re-seed requests. This time all is well. HideRef linkage and process NOT acting like a bad player.  Whew!! Glad but wonder if anyone else has experienced bad behavior on part of the HideRef site?

Usually I will get one or more of the system generated messages for re-seed requests each day.  Noticed today (09/29/2016) that it appears that the hideref site has either been hacked or they have changed their business plan…  of the three links that were in the inbox today, only spam or attack sites appear. Tried multiple times and could not get be to the hidden gtru site url.  AND even though I was pretty sure nothing made it through, I shutdown all prgms including utorrent and ran both Malwarebytes and Norton Full system scan, including the 6 TB storage pool.
If hideref continues to route malware and spam pages, I hope GTRu will change to another service.

Thank you very much for this older entry.  I strongly believe in "RTFM" and routinely search the forum for solutions to my usage questions. I had a torrent (XTube.CAM4.GAY.AMAT.MEGABK.1.Ch.28S.-.BERLIN.MUSCLE.BUTT.JOCK.RAW.FUCK.CRUISERS) in FINISHED state when I saw during a routine search that it was "recycled".  When I started it, it would just so go to "QUEUED SEED".  Since the number of active torrents (6) was less than my queue limit of 10, I started trying to get it to seed, especially since I could see from the search page that there were already a dozen leeching on it with only 3 seeds active.
I originally googled for articles dealing with progressing from queued seed to seeding states and after over an hour of reading not very helpful (and sometimes sanctimonious) replies to similar questions, I switched to searching GTru's forum.  Duh on my part. Within a couple of minutes, I had useful information and performed the Force Start and immediately got results. I joined the seed pool and now there are 4 seeds helping the 19 peers get their copy of the torrent.

I also see this error code routinely.  When I first started with this site a few years ago, I noticed that torrent lines would turn red instead of the normal green.  (Using utorrent 3.3.2 build 30303) I selected the "tracker status" column to display and those red lines have a HTTP Error 502 status. If push comes to shove and I need or just want to I right click the error line and select Update Tracker to force a retry. 
IF it does not change back to green in a few second if not immediately, then my first presumption is that the tracker is busy busy and leave the poor thing alone.  ;D
However, when I am starting a download and I get the 502 while it is searching for peers, I will try again rather than wait for the default (appears to be 30 mins) countdown for a retry.

From a client perspective, I believe that reducing the number of active seeding torrents does help.  AND remember that for an individual torrent, the client will retry the connection after the timeout countdown had completed. 
From a tracker perspective, taint much we end users can do. Aside from hardware / software issues, the load is the load, it ebbs and flows with time.

While I do not know the tracker software personally, empirically, it looks like if many requests that come from an individual client, past a certain number those request get pushed to the bottom of the request queue so all clients can get a fair shake at the tracker. (IMHO)

For some reason recently, I noticed torrents that I have downloaded and have been seeding, no longer are showing up "green" on the search list. there are a few collections / topics I collect and seed.  In particular the long series of XTube.CAM4.GAY.AMATEUR.MEGABK.xxxx. On many of these especially the older ones, I appear to be the only active seeder except they don't show up as ones I have downloaded. They show as grey, neither the light or dark green background.
So I asked myself How can I get these torrents to reflect again that I downloaded them?? I have tried reloading the torrent file and sometimes it works and sometimes not.  What am I missing?

I first realized this was happening, when I thought I found one I had missed downloading. When I downloaded the .torrent file and tried to add it to the queue, I got a warning that "The torrent you are trying to add is alaready in the list of torrents. Do you want to load the trackers from it?"  Which I said yes and then checked to ensure it was in seeding not finished state.  Like I mentioned before normally this gets the entry to go light green but not to the dark green. What am I doing wrong?

In the last few months there has been a deluge of posted material that has taught me to start paying attention to quality and or duplicate issues. I am sure I am not the only person trying to be smarter about their downloads.
Yesterday and today, I downloaded a video thinking I was getting a good video quality, even though the file size was exorbitant (Size 3.69 GB) .  Turned out to be so bad, that I downloaded the other version which was sized at  826.38 MB.

The 3 giger file was a DVD format but upon viewing the data stream was very low resolution at 352x240.  Which surprised me since I have gotten movies from Zyloco same time period which were at 480 or at least 360. So I decided to download the 826 MB file. Low and Behold…running them size by side at original or 2x video size, they are virtually identical.  I believe the limitation is source material. Which is too bad since the fucks and penetration shots are enjoyable viewing. .
I will be keeping the 826 MB file in my porn library and will dispose of the 3.69 GB version.

Which leads me to the why of my posting.
Is it bad form to post negative or warning comments as to quality or to suggest different torrent file for quality reasons?

A few months ago, after downloading and viewing a torrent, I added a comment about my issue with the poor video quality and referenced another version of the same video that I had downloaded and found to be much better.  While I tried to be polite and thanked the uploader for his effort, I guess he was pissed off because the torrent was gone an hour after my comment. I think he deleted his own torrent instead of it being gone due to a takedown request, since all the other version of the video were still there.

Some of you may be aware of this torrent and the issue with it not having an active seeder and setting at 99.9 % completed. The three remaining problem files are

The torrent was a "recycle"  of an 2010 torrent.
If the seeder is truly gone, then is it possible for the torrent to be "repaired" or re-issued and bring closure. The thumbs file is a throw away file.  Both of the video file are complete enough to be playable.   BTW Darn nice cock in the xtube_video_30.avi video.

HOWEVER IF any member had one or more of the three missing files on their hard drives , they could copy their complete good copy into the torrent's folder "Xtube Anal Collection" and let it populate out to the hundred in the swam.

This isn't the first recycled torrent to be stuck due to one or two missing files.  Is there a protocol or place to shout out for a individual file to complete a torrent that is stuck?  (other than the reseed button for the complete torrent)  I understand that many delete a torrent but keep individual files outside of the torrent download folder.

If there isn't a resolution, at what point does the staff decide to unregister the torrent and we minions carry home the goodies in our bags and ignore the empty wrappers. (Halloween still in brain)

For the first time for me, I noticed a pretty clear duplicate but had never clicked on the Report Duplicate link.  I had opened in separate browser tabs both the original posting from 21 weeks ago and the 2nd posting 1 hour old. I clicked on one of the report link thinking that it would be taking me to a form to report the IDs of the original and the duplicate. But that turns out to be not how the process is implemented. Instead it immediately reported the one I clicked on as a duplicate, leaving it up to the moderator to search out the original and duplicate pairing.
Would it not help the moderator to have the reporter of the duplicate give the ID numbers or at least the torrent title of original and duplicate(s) in a form that opens up?
OR request the reporter of the duplicate to click "report" on each of the torrents then the moderator decides based upon age of torrent (while still checking that it is meets the duplicate criteria.) I still think that giving the moderator a page with both original and duplicate will help in their efforts

While trying to determine that an upload I may do is not a duplicate, I find that the Where to Search options on the Search panel are not working like they used to.
On the Search panel there are the four options to limit where to search (name, Description, filename and freeleech). While I had my profile defaults to select name, Description, filename, there are time I choose to unselect one or two of those to tighten the search. For example to search only filename or torrent name.  When I hit the Blue Search / Refresh button, the where to search options reset back to the profile defaults and the resulting search is not limited to the options selected.  To get around this I have changed/saved default search option which then lets me do the limited search. Not what I hope is a long term solution. (Browser is Chrome and I did the crtl F5 combo.)  I then tried Firefox.  In firefox got the same results so I do not think the issue is browser dependent. The Where to Search options are having the default option turned on after hitting the Search /Refresh blue button and the resulting search isn't focus as desired. Thanks,youngla

Happily found the watersports group while getting ready to upload a piss movie.
I love the favor of my piss and just got back from the kitchen where I grabbed a large tumbler and filled it with my piss.  Only medium yellow and taste strength 'cause been drinking lots of coffee this afternoon.  This morning I had a taste of the morning stream of strong yellow.  Flavor? I describe mine as a taste of Hominy Corn, sweet, a bit fatty and a slight after taste of alkalinity. The basic flavor stays the same just either diluted or concentrated. 
What gets me curious is that I from time to time will have a strong scent which seems a little bit medicinal / chemical in it's nature and highly attractive to me.  But I have tasted the piss from those exact flows and there is no hint of medicinal in the pee. I guess I have some compound that has a very low vapor point.

I love peeing in the backyard on cool days with hot vapor rising. I love the smell of piss in the morning. Will find the section for piss stories and tell one from my college dorm days.
