      @teri40:

      Where does it say that they are located in the US? Did you have a box with seedboxbay?

      "Using the latest hardware located in France and USA."

      @LEVI:

      Seedboxbay is based in Paris, France

      No,  SOME of the servers are in France.  SOME are in the US. More than likely the cheap seedboxes are in the US and the more expensive VPS are in France.  Upon doing some research, this company has a few other names, and they don't have very good reputations over at T-I.  Reports of horrible support, bad speeds, blatant ripoffs..  One of their alter-agos is ssdapp.com, which is where they actually disclose where their servers are.

      Regardless, one should not be using ANY seedbox company that has a TOS that basically says they will rat you out without hesitation.

      For $5, that's a nice deal  😉

      400GB for $15 is cheaper per GB than 100GB for $5.. 😉  Also I believe they are based in the US, and they prohibit seeding copyrighted material in their TOS..  :afr:

      If you're just a light user, that's a steal. Although you can create your own seedbox for the same price.  😄

      Yeah until they rat you out to the MAFIAA and they whack you with a lawsuit, then you'll wish you had paid a little more..  ::)  Like I said, there ain't enough tea in China to get me to use a US based seedbox or VPN.  And I'd love to know where you could create your own seedbox for that price.

      @MrMazda:

      And that is precisely why I disagree with what the DMCA has become. I agree with the whole principle behind being able to control profit loss from illegal sharing of otherwise paid content, but to take it to that extent is just ridiculous to say the least.

      It didn't "become" anything.  That's how it was written from day one.  A lot of congressmen got a lot of lobbying money from the RIAA and MPAA to write it that way and pass it.

    • RE: Seedboxing

      The DMCA was a joke from day one.  It is beyond government overreach, because it does things like criminalize fair use and consumer control of their devices.  Did you know it makes it illegal to make your own backup or digital copy of a DVD or BluRay?  Even if you never share it, the act of breaking the DRM in order to make your archive copy or add it to your digital media library is illegal- and that trumps fair use.  You can't unlock a cell phone (anymore) to use it on another carrier.  You can't legally jailbreak/root a cell phone in order to use non-sanctioned apps or remove carrier bloatware.  You can't legally install a mod chip into a video game console.

      Basically the DMCA took away your right to "own" anything. Under the DMCA you pay a 'licensing fee', and the license owner (Sony, Microsoft, Samsung, Motorola, AT&T, Disney, Paramount, etc etc etc) can modify the terms at any time - they can remove features, disable access to content, impose limits, etc etc, anything they want in order to boost their profit margins.  You as the poor peon who thought your PS3 would do today everything it did when you forked over $500 for it, are shit out of luck with absolutely no recourse.

      Naturally, but then on the same argument what is the point of a US-based seedbox company where it is under full neck-boot of the DMCA??

      You couldn't PAY me to use a seedbox company that has language like

      "The unauthorized submission or distribution of copyrighted or other proprietary Content is illegal and could subject you to criminal prosecution as well as personal liability for damages in a civil suit.  You, not SeedBoxBay.com, nor its affiliates, nor any of its officers, directors, employees, agents, Merchants, Providers, Sponsors, Licensers, or the like, will be liable for any damage resulting from any infringement of copyrights or proprietary rights, or from any other harm arising from such submission."

      and

      "SeedBoxBay.com may elect to monitor any areas of the site or any of its services and may disclose any content, records, or electronic communication of any kind to satisfy any law, regulation, or government request or if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to operate SeedBoxBay.com or to protect the rights or property of SeedBoxBay.com, its visitors, sponsors, providers, licensers, or merchants."

      in its Terms of Service.

      DediSeedbox has nothing of the sort in its policies… 😉

      Holy christ, whatever you do, DO NOT google the word trying to find more pics.  The results that come up are seriously horrific.  I'm serious, like mangled/bloody/surgical.  I love horror movies, and these pics sent the skeevies up the backs of my legs.

      Yeah I have to agree..  Weird and hot at the same time..  One video would clear up soooo many questions..  He claims they are both functional..  I assume he means they both get hard..  But when he pisses/cums does it come out of both at the same time?  Or just one?  Or do they cum independently???  :afr:

    • RE: Need Help: How to use seed box with gtru. Create and seed

      @vanyelti:

      Did that resolve the issue for you?  I'm currently using seedbox.fr and haven't tried to upload a torrent before.  I downloaded Utorrent and did a quick upload the other day but I would before to use my seedbox since I always leave that up.
      My thought on a low tech workaround =
      do the initial upload on utorrent,
      once it's up  goto the torrent and download it using seedbox, now the file will be on the seedbox with the tracker info etc.
      Leave the seedbox up and turn off utorrent.

      Does a GM know if that method would work with providing me credit for the upload & seeding?

      Ok, this is assuming you are using ruTorrent on the seedbox - that's what most of them use..

      First of all you shouldn't be using a torrent program to upload to or download from the seedbox, EVER.  You should be using a secure FTP client like FileZilla, a VPN, or secure HTTP transfer.  Otherwise you are openly sharing the file from your computer and that will spell problems for you.

      When you set up the seedbox, the provider should have sent you an email detailing the settings you have to put into your FTP client in order to gain direct up/down access.

      Once you have transferred the files you want to share into a working folder on the Seedbox, you have to create your .torrent files in the Seedbox GUI.  Torrent files created on your computer WILL NOT WORK.   In the ruTorrent GUI, click the Star icon (Create New Torrent) and when the dialog box pops up, select the folder that contains your video, then click Private Tracker, and in the Tracker box put http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru, then click Create.  It will hash the file, then once it says Done, click Save.  This will download the new .torrent file to your computer.

      Once you have the newly created .torrent downloaded, go to the GT.RU Upload page and click Manual Upload (you CAN NOT use QTM with a seedbox).  Fill in the page with your title, description, etc, and upload that newly created .torrent file to the form. When you are done, click Do IT!, and you will be taken to the new torrent's page.

      Click Download to retrieve another new .torrent file (this is DIFFERENT than the one you created earlier!).  Now back in ruTorrent, click the Earth button (Add New Torrent).  In the box that pops up, select the folder that contains the file you will be sharing, then under Torrent File click Browse, and find the .torrent file you downloaded from GT.RU - NOT THE ONE YOU CREATED BEFORE. Then click Add File, and the torrent will start automatically.  If you followed the directions properly, it will say "Checking" for a few seconds, and then it will say Seeding.  If it says Downloading, then you did something wrong, most likely you selected the wrong directory.

      **NOTE:  If you download a torrent from another site directly to your seedbox in order to start seeding it on GT.RU, there are a few extra "gotchas".  You CAN NOT use the original .torrent file that you downloaded from the other site.  You MUST create a new one using the seedbox's GUI.  You also MUST stop and Remove the torrent (DO NOT click Remove + Data!!!) BEFORE you can upload the GT.RU-generated .torrent, otherwise it will not load.

    • RE: Seedboxing

      Theres no reason an FTP should take that long unless the host company is throttling it.  I have tried a few seedbox companies, and I ultimately settled on DediSeedbox for a few reasons.  They offer 1Gbps dedicated links with no metering, the space they offer is reasonable for the price ($15/20/25 for 400/600/800GB), and allow unlimited active torrents.  They also preconfigure it with ruTorrent, FTP, and BTSync.  I am more than pleased with the performance.  I uploaded several new torrents recently and saw upload speeds topping over 50MBps (yes, MegaBYTES per second) during the initial seeding.

      I can max out my internet connection (15Mbps/1.7MBps) downloading files from the seedbox via FTP, so a 600MB file would take about 7-8 minutes.  It is also a secure/encrypted connection to the FTP so your ISP can't see what you're moving.  You also have the option of using OpenVPN. The company is based in the UK and seedbox servers are in the Netherlands, and their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are very short and to the point - they don't release info to law enforcement except in the case of payment fraud, and they don't care what you host as long as it's not fake or contains malware (most seedbox companies, especially those in countries which honor DMCA notices, explicitly ban copyrighted torrents and will terminate your service upon receipt of a takedown notice: ahemKIMSUFIcough)..  They do use Paypal, but if you are paranoid you can set up a dummy account with fake info and load it using prepaid cards.

      BTSync is kind of a neat option because it allows you to set up automatic downloads from the seedbox to your computer once the torrent has finished.   The software is still being worked on, and it is missing some (to me important) features, but it does work.  You can also manage your torrents using TransDroid, and you can even stream content directly from the box with the DivX Web plugin.

      I keep mine trimmed.  I hate when it's fully bushed out, but I don't like being totally shaved for a number of reasons.

      Basically I use a #2 guide on a cordless beard trimmer for the bulk, and I have found that those micro-trimmers are fantastic for mowing down the scragglers at the root of my cock and on my sack without nicking.

      @ciremage:

      I definitely think after a certain point an adult should have less acne. If you are older with acne it looks like you have poor hygiene.

      Sheer ignorance.  I am 35 and still have it.  It gets bad at times when I stress out, and it has nothing to do with my hygiene.  In fact, it really seems the more I wash my face - regardless of the product I use - the worse I break out.  My doctor refused to prescribe me Accutane when I was in my teens, citing dangerous side effects..  And now that it has been recalled, if I start it now I have no grounds to sue if I develop side effects later.

    • RE: A redesigned Firefox is coming soon

      @trentreviso:

      @leatherbear:

      Are browsers really just used to surf the net anymore? They're used now to access web apps, have deep social network integration and more. So, while the browser's functionalities have changed, how can the design remain stagnant?

      Mozilla is first in line to embrace change. "Maybe we shouldn't even call it a browser anymore," Jonathan Nightingale, Mozilla's Vice-President of Firefox Engineering told TechCrunch. "'Browser' is really an antiquated word. People don't really browse all that much anymore."

      Mozilla has been working on a project called Australis, named after a star system, the company's version of what the future of modern browsing could look like. You can expect to find parts of this product incorporated into Firefox release channels, starting with Nightly, as soon as it hits version 25. Australis will also make its way to the web through the usual release channels thereafter.

      Firefox is just trying to mimic Chrome browser and OS.

      The whole idea behind Chrome OS on netbooks is to have the entire OS embedded within the browser. Google anticipates a future where almost everything we do with a computer will be done online. Apparently, the Mozilla people agree, and don't want to be left behind.

      I am surprised at how much the new Firefox visually resembles Chrome.

      Why would you be surprised?  Considering how Chrome is an almost verbatim ripoff of Firefox, it's a given.
