Far left sites are shifted to the right to make them appear less extreme, while conservative sites are shifted to the right
If these far left sides are "shifted to the right" then how come they're still called "far left?"
Once again, they are part of the leftist bias OPINION spewers. They do not state any facts, per Facebook in 2 lawsuits.
Who's "they"? and what do "they" have to do with Facebook?
We know the org of leftist "fact checkers" have no issue with allowing direct competitors from "fact-checking" someone they admit to wanting to drive out of business
How do "we" know this?
IF they tried claiming they were stating facts, CO would have won the case.
Who's "they"? And what do "they" have to do with Colorado?

@raphjd
I've got a dozen more examples of leftist sites that they rate poorly. Care to see?I'd say media bias fact checker is an equal opportunity abuser, handing out poor ratings wherever they're deserved.

Ah, so that means that you get to use a leftist site to derail every topic you don't like?
Hmmm. If they're so left biased, then how can they rate CNN like this:
CNN is rated moderately left-biased based on editorial positions by TV hosts that consistently favor the left, while straight news reporting falls left-center through bias by omission. We also rate them as "Mostly Factual" in reporting rather than "high" due to two failed fact checks in the last five years.
Failed Fact Checks on CNN:
"If President Trump decides to deploy the U.S. military domestically, he would be “mobilizing U.S. military troops on American soil for the first time since 1807.” – False
"Greenland’s ice sheet has melted to a point of no return, according to new study” – Low Scientific Credibility

Then the question remains, why don't you post that original source when you place the information here in the forum? It seems that would save you all the trouble of having egg on your face for posting such ridiculous clickfarm links.

Altho boy circumcisions are normally about 1/50 the damage level.
Please elaborate on this "damage level" you speak of. It sounds as if there are some levels that are more appropriate than others? so some children are worthy of receiving damage at lower levels? I love this idea of a person who cares about the welfare of children but ----not all children---as some of them can apparently receive some damage level as long as it's low enough?
What would your "damage level" graph look like Please describe it

RE: Republican Admits Key Informant Against Joe Biden Is Now Missingposted in Politics & Debate
@raphjd
So him requesting it when he already knew what the answer was going to be was just merely a bit of theater on his part.The subpoena was for exactly one document and any accompanying attachments dated from July 2020. I find it hard to believe that the entire Biden corruption probe is based on only one document. Also the subpoena was dated May 3rd so I don't know what you're talking about when you say he denied it at some congressional hearing.
The subpoena can be viewed here

It goes without saying that comer would have known about that FBI restriction for releasing those types of documents before he even sent the subpoena. He knew exactly what answer he was going to get from the FBI.
-
RE: Republican Admits Key Informant Against Joe Biden Is Now Missingposted in Politics & Debate
@raphjd You're partially right. The FBI responded in a letter Wednesday, with Christopher Dunham, the acting assistant director for congressional affairs, saying that while the FBI was committed to "beginning the constitutionally mandated accommodation process," it was also bound by Justice Department policy, which "strictly limits when and how confidential human source information can be provided outside of the FBI."
"Often, even confirming the fact of the existence (or nonexistence) of an investigation or a particular piece of investigative information can risk these serious harms," Dunham wrote, adding that it was "standard practice" for law enforcement agencies to decline to confirm or deny such facts.

Republican Admits Key Informant Against Joe Biden Is Now Missingposted in Politics & Debate
Representative James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, admitted on Sunday that his fellow Republicans lost track of a key witness in an investigation about the Biden family being involved in an alleged bribery scheme. Comer tried to get records from the FBI that he said he believes could reveal whether President Biden allegedly received bribes from the foreign companies, basing his allegation on information he received from an anonymous whistleblower. That whistleblower is now missing.

RE: USSA 2020 election: CIA rigged, at Blinken's behestposted in Politics & Debate
@raphjd
According to Justice Department records, the odds of being charged for lying on this form are virtually nonexistent. In the 2019 fiscal year, when Hunter Biden purchased his gun, federal prosecutors received 478 referrals for lying on Form 4473 — and filed just 298 cases.A 1990 Justice Department feasibility study noted how difficult it was to bring cases against people who falsely answer questions on Form 4473. Unlike the rich paper trail that exists for felons, no such record exists for drug abusers.
The data released by the Justice Department does not show how many of the 180 cases which were not pursued and which might have been successfully prosecuted for falsely answering the question about active drug use. But a review of such cases in Delaware shows that in fiscal 2019, only three Form 4473 cases were referred for prosecution in the state — and the U.S. attorney opted not to bring them.

RE: USSA 2020 election: CIA rigged, at Blinken's behestposted in Politics & Debate
@raphjd
What's interesting is that the section where Biden lied in his gun application, ATF form 4473, was a section that the gun industry and most GOP PAC's opposed being added to the list of gun purchase requirements. In one lawsuit to prevent form 4473 being implemented, the gun lobby stated:*"The ATF is not the appropriate agency for drafting, modifying or amending the 4473 nor is it the appropriate agency for defining or clarifying what constitutes an “unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance” or “fugitive from justice”, because the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) is empowered with the interpretation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g), and as such ATF cannot proceed in this matter. See, United States v. Mead Corp., 533 U.S".
You would think then, that biden's lying on that question would be championed by the right, since the question itself was argued to be illegal by the right.

The 2 questions are
- is content factual
- is content on topic
A basic start in determining #1 is by asking where does the information come from. If it comes from a clickfarm run by the good people of Macedonia in order to make money, and that website is the only one provided in the discussion where that claim is made, and that website does not, itself, list any proof of where it got its information from, then we're on a pretty good path to determining that it's something to be extremely suspect of.
If someone made the claim that "it's raining in Tucson", and you knew that the person making that claim didn't live in Tucson, one of the first questions you would ask to determine the factuality of it would be "how do you know it's raining in Tucson". Epistemological questions such as this are always relevant.
