Feel free to explain why a lawyer would pay off a woman who he didn't have sex with during a campaign that he wasn't running in, using his own money, seemingly out of the goodness of his own heart and definitely not on Trumps behalf. Is that even possible?

I don't know what experience you've had with lawyers in the past but is that something you think a lawyer would do on his own for free?

Then I was right - that would be just like saying the Ottoman and 1sr French empires. But couldn't he have used a more contemporary example - say, Florida, where deSantis has instituted a war on woke companies and school practices? Or Russia, where Putin is jailing hundreds of people? Or Hungary, where Orban controls virtually all media?

And if his point is to criticize the flow of information why is he mentioning the Trump case as his example? Ostensibly to say "well this could happen to other Americans" as a slippery slope-type argument. "This could happen to you!" .... If under indictment for illegal use of campaign contributions, I guess.

@Spintendo Unfortunately, with your bias against certain members of society, a lot of these arguments that are happening now in society about MSM, the change that you and others see is needed would have diametrically different solutions.

For example, your concern that the black mass shooter was getting less coverage in media, which is a VALID POINT, does not originate from some understanding of the plight of Blacks in America and how they are marginalized....... rather, I think you want more people to know cause perhaps you like the idea of people seeing more of their criminality. which if I'm right, is really kind of a sad sick thing to want. I'm almost certain, that is the part you would like best about raising "awareness". Its not concern FOR them, its the opposite.

You know raphjd, a lot of the arguments you make against MSM, if they were more sophisticated, you would see how often what you say, its true! MSM DOES deserve scrutiny and scorn.

Your saying "the MSM covers up shit" which, in more educated hands, would sound like "Mainstream Media Recirculation of Trust-Reducing Social Media Messages, and the Cultivation of Non-Redemptive Self-Schemata in Disadvantaged Minorities". There are real, substantial problems affecting MSM and its inescapable and often destructive influence over society
