I completely agree on the main point.

I haven't looked into "pizza-gate" but it seemed fake to me.  But that's not the point.  No one has the right to do what the gunman did.

All these moon bats talking about how Obamacare is "ok." Well I think we can do better than "ok." It started with a website that Obama paid his friends half a billion dollars or was it more like 15 billion? That didn't even work. Now the drug companies, doctors, and insurance companies are taking advantage of it saying that an IV costs $10,000 and other outrageous mismanagement frauds. Nobody can actually afford to use it. It sucks. It's been ruled by the SCOTUS to be a tax, not insurance. Call it what it is and quit acting like it's insurance. It's a tax. Why is it a tax? To make up for the losses insurance companies and hospitals lose from all the damn illegal immigrants demanding free health care. It's a socialist system and it isn't working, because socialist systems never work, from Nazi Germany, to Communist Russia and China, to Canada, to Venezuela. It doesn't work. It might for a minute, but sooner or later it all comes to an abrubt halt, as will the Obamacare tax. It is failing and it will die. That's a fact that nobody denies.

And as far as Republicans controlling Congress and not getting anything done? That's because you got a few bitches that need to be voted out who work against the people of this country who elected them: like John McCain and Lindsay Graham, who only praise Trump if he's bombing Erdogan.

Corbyn also said even if the UK was attacked with nukes, he wouldn't respond likewise because he doesn't want to kill people.    Basically, his plan if he becomes PM is to cuck and pander to the countries who might do harm to the UK.

There is a small city of 90,000 people near me that had two full service hospitals 20 years ago. Both hospitals were public hospitals that were run by the city.  That's right…..government run hospitals.

Republicans hate that so they closed one and sold the other to a private company.  This private company has bought up everything over the last decade or so and as a result we have the highest cost healthcare in the nation.  They are closing the remaining hospital next year leaving this city the only one of it's size in the state without a hospital.  This company pretends to be a non-profit but you wouldn't know it.  Google the "nantucket effect" and you can read about how they royally screwed over the ENTIRE healthcare system and rose costs for literally everyone by classifying a tiny 19 bed hospital for the ultra rich as a "rural hospital."  Just the fact that one tiny hospital can have that much of an impact on the entire country is absurd.

Unless he actually does go out on 5th avenue and shoot someone, he won't be impeached by this Congress. If the Democrats win back the House in 2018, that is a different story.  Even under those circumstances, he would never be convicted in the Senate.67 Senators would have to vote to convict, a very high bar indeed.

I believe the Republicans will abandon him if his unpopularity brings them down far enough. There will come a point where they no longer defend him out of fear that they will lose everything.

He is more popular and has better approval ratings than the GOP in the House or Senate. What I predict is that we will see a lot of new faces elected in 2018, they just will be fresh Republican faces to unseat the old ones.

That's not saying much, they're in the 18-22% approval range and he's in the 32-36% approval range. Also, you're leaving out the millions of people who did not vote but DO NOT want him as their president. People who sat it out because they thought Hillary would win, they will turnout to make sure he's stopped next year if he's not removed by then. Republicans are doomed and they know it, which is why they're throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks.

Either way, I still believe he'll be removed from office just as Allan Lichtman, who is never wrong, predicted. He predicted the win and he's has also predicted the impeachment and removal. There's no way the Republicans will sink with this president. They'll throw him under the bus to save themselves the moment collusion is proven or Mueller finds something incriminating enough. It still won't help them. The president ran and won as a Republican and he's unpopular with the MAJORITY of Americans just like the Republican party is, which means once he is impeached he will not have the support of the people to help him; only the flimsy number of people (~77,000) that helped him win the electoral college.

I can't believe Agent Orange began all of this himself. It was a self-inflicted wound and it's now seriously infected. The memo(s) will hopefully put everything into perspective surrounding the firing of Comey and may prove Agent Orange obstructed justice. I will be front and center in front of the TV with my partner, my wine and my popcorn. Don't wanna jinx it but what the hell  :cheers:

Businesses should be allowed to operate according to their own principles.  Isn't that what the "anti-LGBT" (poorly named) law says?

It's sad that still, we're seeing attempts by people in this forum to defend an incompetent and out of control president by using the "idea" of the woman who ran against him and lost. It's not fake news that Hillary Clinton lost the election. It is reality that she lost. Yet, some of you are still pretending that she won; and therefore, our real president should be able to do whatever he wants without being called out on it. This is childish and it shows why you voted for someone childish and disgusting to be president. You use the "idea" of her because you have no real defense of him. It's pathetic and like I said it shows why you voted the way you did. If you cannot define your support for him without using his failed opponent then you have no real defense. Simple as that.
