RE: Seedbox - what do you prefer?
A "seed box" is a computer, usually in a data center, with extremely fast lines where you can put your files and use it to seed torrents from.
They are usually very small {10 - 20gb} and cost about £50 per month to rent.

RE: Help getting a FLV movie from a site
The site might be running the videos directly instead of allowing them to download to your computer.
-
RE: Converting DVD to Xvid using Fairuse
Please note that I wrote this guide for another site and pasted it here.
The rule of thumb is 1gb per hour of porn and regular movies with lots of action and PIXAR type films. Regular movies and TV shows {without lots of action or Pixar type} are 500mb per hour.
While this guide tells you how to make a video into separate discs, this is not allowed here. So please adjust it accordingly.

RE: Help getting a FLV movie from a site
the only thing you have to do , is search in that folder for all *.flv-files and copy them into another folder,
As stated, make sure you use "COPY" not "cut" otherwise you will get access/permission errors.

RE: Support for torrentprivacy.com or btguard?
As with most private trackers {required sign ups} , we don't allow proxies to be used.
For this reason I doubt you will have much luck except with sites like ThePirateBay.

RE: How many times you masturbate for one week? how many is normal at least?
Some recent studies say that the average 18 - 19 year old males masturbate 7.07 times per week. The average 20 - 35 year old male does it 6.85 times per week, with the number being reduced by 1.2 times per week for every 10 years of age after that. I haven't seen a study that breaks down the difference between hetero and gay, though.
If you ejaculate at least 21 times per month, you are 38% less likely to get prostate cancer than a male who ejaculates only 7 times per month. Ejaculating 7 times a month makes you 15% less likely to get prostate cancer than someone who ejaculates 3 or less times per month.

RE: Heinz pulls pro gay ad in UK because of 200 complaints
The ad was for their new deli style mayonnaise. So it's probably the same one.

RE: Whats your Download Upload Speed??
Mine is
7,542 kbps
723 kbps

RE: New ratio policy is unfair!
There is already a thread for this.
Anyway, we don't ban for bad ratios, just remove your download rights until your ratio improves.
Anyway, this has been announced for 6 months in a few spots on the forums. So you should have had plenty of time to work on increasing your ratio.
You complain that your upload speed is only half your download speed. My upload speed is 1/10th my download speed and I manage.

RE: EU backs gay man's pension rights
This is really good news for gays in the UK.
Under current law, work and private pensions {ISAs and the like} are exempt from handing out widower's benefits.
Even some state pension benefits are exempt from paying out to gay widowers under current law.

EU backs gay man's pension rights

EU backs gay man's pension rights
A gay man in Germany may be entitled to his dead partner's pension following a ruling by the highest court in the EU.
Tadao Maruko's partner died in 2005 but the pension fund refused him a widower's pension and the case was sent to the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
The court ruled that refusing a pension was direct discrimination if the partnership was comparable to marriage.
Mr Maruko's lawyers predict the case will have repercussions in EU countries where same-sex partnerships are legal.
"I'm happy. It's a very important step," lawyer Helmut Graupner told the BBC News website.
"This will help all those countries which have registered partnerships. It's the first time the ECJ has ruled in favour of same-sex couples."
The court based its ruling on an EU directive which states that there should be no discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation.
Although German law considers only heterosexual unions as marriage, the ruling makes it clear that any country in the EU that gives same-sex couples rights equivalent to marriage should treat the two as comparable.
The European Commission welcomed the decision, but emphasised that national governments rather than the EU were in charge of legislation on family law.
"It all depends on the law of the country. The right to a survivor's pension exists if the two regimes [marriage and gay partnership] are analogous," said commission spokesman Johannes Laitenberger.
European repercussions
Mr Graupner said the ruling would have significant repercussions for the UK and Scandinavia where same-sex partners had "mirror institutions" to marriage, rather than French-style civil contracts.
But he also suggested that indirectly it would help gay couples in countries where there was no equivalent to marriage.
"The next case may be one of indirect discrimination, from a country that excludes same-sex partners from the rights and obligations of marriage.
"The way out for such a country would mean they would have to provide the same benefits as other countries," he said.
GAY MARRIAGES IN THE EU
Full marriage recognised: Spain, Netherlands, Belgium
Legal partnerships similar {but not the same} to marriage: Germany, Sweden, Denmark, UK, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Finland, Portugal
Civil contracts: France, Luxembourg
No provision: Austria, Baltic states, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Slovakia

Italian wins gay driving ban case
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7503861.stm
Italian wins gay driving ban case
An Italian court has ordered the government to pay 100,000 euros (£79,919) to a man who had to retake his driving test because he was gay.
Danilo Giuffrida, now 26, told doctors he was homosexual during a medical examination for military service.
The information was passed to the defence and transport ministries.
Mr Giuffrida was told to repeat his driving test or have his licence suspended because of his "sexual identity disturbance".
Mr Giuffrida passed his test for the second time but his licence was renewed for just one year rather than the usual 10 years because of his homosexuality.
A court in Catania, Sicily, ordered the ministries to pay damages on the basis that Mr Giuffrida's constitutional rights had been breached and that homosexuality could not be considered a "mental illness".
The judge said the actions of the ministries showed "evident sexual discrimination".
Mr Giuffrida welcomed the sentence as "a step forwards for civil rights."

RE: BAREBACK MOVIES - HIV scandal in gay porn industry
From all the articles I've read, gay porn has an extensive testing program compared to hetero porn.
The real problem is, that unless you lock the guys away in separate rooms, they are going to do what they want. This means that infection can happen at any time and it won't show up for another couple of tests.

RE: Category Differences - Twinks vs Youngblood
Twinks are young and slim, while Youngbloods are young and have firmer bodies.
Personally, I think of it as Twinks and Frats.

RE: Media joiner
It really depends on the file types you are trying to join. Some are great at joining AVI files, but suck at joining RM files and so forth.
Post what kind of thing you are looking for and I'll see what I have.

RE: Gaytorrent.ru forum topics too serious…...
I agree that we need more forum sections, but I'm not sure what would interest our members. That's why I made the thread asking for suggestions.

RE: Gaytorrent.ru forum topics too serious…...
There is a thread in the GT.ru Discussions asking for input on which forum sections we should add and I got only 1 reply {from Tom, the site owner}.
We have the news sections because not everyone knows where to look or has access to all the sites and stories.

RE: Gays in Egypt
US Governor of Iraq at the time {with the US State Dept} wrote the Iraq constitution, outlawing m/m sodomy.
I remember watching the BBC news when this happened and C. Rice said the topic was not open for discussion, that the Bush Admin felt it was the best thing for the US and Iraq to include the anti sodomy laws in the Iraq constitution.

RE: BAREBACK MOVIES - HIV scandal in gay porn industry
I still don't understand why it's a "news story" when 4 gay porn actors didn't actually get infected from a porn shoot, but hetero porn actors getting infected from porn shoots don't make the news.
The fact that they fluffed the piece to say that the gay porn actors got infected during the porn shoot is crack head and bigoted.
The porn shoot was from Friday afternoon til Sunday afternoon and they tested positive the following Tuesday morning {impossible according to all the medical websites I've read} and that is somehow proof they got infected during the porn shoot and had nothing to do with the fact that all 4 were rent boys.
I didn't see the show, but I'm willing to bet they made no mention of the rent boy aspect.
I agree that there is a real danger of getting AIDS through barebacking, even with the massive testing programs in place. However, I'm disgusted that they made up "facts" to make the "news" piece and left out stuff, nor did they mention anything about the hetero porn industry's track record of AIDS prevention and number of infected.
