Rocksmith 2014 goes next gen consoles (XBox ONE and PS4).

If you already own it for PS3 or XBox 360, you can transfer all of your DLCs for free, as long as it is in the same console family (XBox or PS).   This does not apply in retrograde, meaning that anything bought for next gen consoles, can not be transferred to the older consoles.

Also, if you buy the game for the next gen consoles, you get a free DLC of Jimi Hendrick's songs.   There is some confusion though.  I'm not sure if this DLC is available immediately for next gen consoles or if it comes out in mid Dec 2014 when it becomes available for the other formats.

Some markets, have exclusive deals for the next gen console versions.   In the UK, you can only get it through Amazon.co.uk.   HOWEVER, as I understand it, you can also buy the digital download version through your console's store.

I'm excited about this because this is the last thing holding me to the 360.    I already left PS3 when The Last of Us came out for PS4.
