Africa is worse than the US when it comes to religion.

    • RE: Conditioner in beard?

Unless you have a really rugged face and don't care, DO NOT use traditional hair products on your face.  The same applies to soaps.

Use products designed for facial hair and face.  Expensive doesn't mean it works best.  You can find recipes to make your own on the internet, I haven't tried any of those.

Leave in conditioners (liquid types) are the best at keeping your facial hair looking it's best.  Wax or other styling products are NOT a substitute for conditioner.

Don't use styling products unless you really need to and then only use as little as possible to get what you need.  You will need to wash your facial hair every day if you use this kind of stuff.

Know your face.  If you break out easily, then stay away from oil based conditioners and products with a lot of oils, unless it's tea tree, citrus and the other known cleansing ones.

If you have beard dandruff, then you must wash it every day and use a conditioner.

    • RE: How can I increase my facial hair

There are products (vitamins) that you can buy in various health stores that are specially made for "encouraging" hair (and nail) growth.

      Every situation is different.

Some people need to be pushed a bit, while others need their space to come to terms with it.

    • RE: Wedding - are you willing to do that?

      @gaygaye:

Wedding is a lie of heterosexual society, so why should we insist on this authoritarian practice? We must break the wheel, must not be part of it. Also even unmarried gays don't have a single relationship, so why should I trust a gay partner just we signed a contract? If you all gays are delusional or you just insist on this just for the sake of heterosexuals doing this. Universal stupidity?

Ok, so you like open relationships.  Good for you.

I like monogamy and so does my husband.

If you (generic) date a whore, they won't stop being a whore just because you married them.  There is only one person to blame for your partner being a whore; YOU (generic).  No one forced you to date that person.

    • RIP Dusty Rhodes, the American Dream

The American Dream, Dusty Rhodes passed away on Thursday 11 June 2015 at the age of 69.    He suffered a fall in his home the previous day and was taken to the hospital, where he passed away.

Full details aren't out yet (if ever), but in the last year he has suffered a rapid weight loss and his doctors were concerned about his health.

Long time stage rival (but close friend IRL), Ric Flair called Dusty the most iconic and charismatic wrestler ever.  Wrestlers, young and old, past and present, have been singing Dusty's praises.   Not only that, but people from all walks of life (auto racing, TV, hollywood, politicians, etc, etc, etc, as well as just normal folks) have been posting about him on all the social media outlets.

Even though he only held the NWA World Heavyweight (singles) title 3 times, he held more overall titles than any other wrestler during his 40+ year career.

    • FALLOUT 4 - announced

Bethesda has announced that FALLOUT 4 will be released some time later this year (my guess is near christmas).

You can see the 7 or so lead/intro/teaser videos on YouTube and various gaming sites.

The game takes place in Boston and will be open world, like Fallout 3.

I'm wetting myself with excitement.

    • RE: Religion that didn't against homosexual

Quakers helped fight for marriage equality in the UK.  They also pushed for and got religious marriage for gay couples.

Originally, the proposal was to only allow civil gay marriage.  Now churches (not individual congregations) can OPT IN to doing gay marriage.

It really depends on how often they bring up the subject.

If they bring it up a lot, then tell them.

    • RE: Does political correctness do more harm than good?

A lot of times it does cause problems.

The main issue is that it prevents any and all discussion on certain topics.  In the UK, for example, you can't talk about welfare reform without being accused of hating the poor.

"Pool nurses" are paid well by the NHS, but not staff nurses.  "Pool nurses" are the ones that come in to covers shortages by staff nurses.  All across the UK there are shortages of staff nurses.

Nurses, like school teachers, are always treated like crap.  The country doesn't matter.

I have private insurance so I don't have to use NHS hospitals for surgeries and whatnot.  They are extremely old fashioned and dingy. You're more likely to catch a "super bug" then you are to be healed of your original illness.

Trying to get a normal GP appointment is nearly impossible in many places in the UK.
