    • RE: Has wii died?

      I've never played the WII.

      Most of the games seemed dumbed down and very childish, compared to Xbox and PS.

    • RE: Loose Anus

      If you've already gone too far, then there is nothing but surgery.

      If it's just a bit loose, then as noted above, "keegle" or pelvic floor exercises will help.

      I've never personally experienced it, but have seen it in porn;  roaring, hitting, spitting, etc, etc, etc that you see in "bear" and bodybuilder porn.

    • RE: Can you be gay and religgious?

      Jesus never said anything about gays.

      As I pointed out in the sticky topic, the common thought on Sodom and Gomorrah is completely wrong.

      Even if you take the other bits of the bible that are supposedly anti gay which are debunked all over the internet, why should they be considered?  After all, christians do not follow the bible, except the passages that suit their personal choices.

      The bible has 613 commandments, yet less than 20 are followed by christians and mainstream jews.  Only ultra orthodox jews follow all 613 commandments.

    • RE: Evolution

      Ann Widdecombe is a religious extremist, and now former ultra right wing politician.

      She either sued or threatened to sue anyone who mentioned her sex life, even as a joke.    Because of this, many people speculate that she is a self loathing lesbian or possibly a secret hypocrite practicing lesbian, as we've seen with so many conservative politicos who publicly claim to hate equality for GLBTIs. .

      Freud is still liked because he was "father" of psychology, despite being wrong about most everything.

    • RE: Caitlyn Jenner

      This isn't personally against Caitlyn Jenner but this entire story gives "normal" people a skewed view of the transgender community.

      When you are mega wealthy and have mega wealthy backers, the transgender process is quite easy and straightforward.  HOWEVER, the extreme vast majority of transgenders don't have the money to do it all in 1 go and certainly not to pay for all the best doctors.

    • RE: I don't think making gay marriage legal should be so important to us

      @jayschmi1:

      I agree with this 100% - the key issue is no discrimination, by forcing people to accept things and redefine terminology, we're only preventing the former from happening.

      It's basically the same fight that happened in the US during the 1950s thru to late 1960s with interracial marriage.

      In both the interracial marriage and gay marriage fight, the Supreme Court forced it on the minority that was against it.

      In the west, governments force people to "accept" others all the time.

    • RE: How to bath dog

      If your kitchen sink is big enough, then you might want to do it there.

      Slippery surfaces are bad as they scare the dog.  Think how you feel walking on very slippery ice, then add a bath to it.

      Warm water, don't want to burn or freeze the dog.

      Talk to your dog the whole time.  In a calm, loving voice.

      Hold your dog the entire time.  Only use a light touch as this is comforting.  Plus, studies have shown they are less likely to jump out of the bath while they are being touched.

    • RE: Bugs, how do I get rid of them myself?

      It's a long(ish) term treatment plan.

      you can never do just one treatment, because as you say, their eggs will hatch after the treatment is done.  Your timing has to be exact to kill the new ones, but rarely are humans that good, so you'll need to do more treatments.

    • RE: Sharing chores

      Personal experience and from studies, YES, gay couples share the housework more than hetero couples.

      Since they are both men, there isn't the gender role mindset.

    • RE: Outlawing all religions (the sooner the better)

      @Matie:

      @raphjd:

      @Matie:

      Yes, this did really well in Maoist China, Stalinist Russia, Khmer Rouge Cambodia, and North Korea (as well as Romania, GDR, Cuba, Vietnam, Albania…..)

      Umm, you can't blame that on non religion.

      However, all over the world nasty/evil things were have been done in the name of various religions.

      That is so much apologist bullshit, I'm afraid.
      Stalin killed Christians in support of atheism, atheist dictators killed more people than religion has in its entire history. I'm against evil dogmas being imposed on people, whether religious or non-religious. The fact is, atheism can be abused just as religion has been. I wouldn't want a world shaped and controlled by people like Dawkins or Sam Harris, just as I wouldn't want to return to rule by Popes. And before you return to your (rather conventional) twisty turny 'logic' and absolving of atheists, Sam Harris has written that he favours the idea of killing those with 'bad beliefs' (I am paraphrasing, but that is essentially what he has written).

      It's a lie to say that Stalin killed for the sake of atheism.  He killed anyone who opposed the absolute rule of the government.

      If the church followed what Jesus says in the bible ( "render unto Caesar" ) they probably would have been left alone.

    • RE: Getting Married Nowadays it's Quite Hard.

      @nordicblue:

      Cohabitation is better for tax purposes than marriage anyway.  That's why there's married filing singly.

      That really only applies in the US.  Most countries are neutral or positive about marriage in their taxes.

    • RE: Circumcision: Pros and Cons

      Denmark has the lowest rate of circumcision in the world.  HOWEVER, it also has the healthiest penises in the world.

      The US has the highest rate of circumcision in the modern world, yet it has one of the lowest rates of healthy penises.

      I think a lot of this is due to the prudishness of American society, especially in post modern feminist americKa.  We can have all manner of dirty vagina ads on tv, but you can't talk about penis issues.  Tits and squirrels are fine on tv and movies, but the world would end if there's even a hint of penis.

      Hygiene is the most important factor in keeping an uncut penis healthy.  This is why studies done in 3rd world shitholes show that circumcision is good.  The same studies done in the modern world show no benefit to circumcision.

    • RE: Gym or home?

      As a previous poster said, it all depends on you.

      People are different, so what works for some may be horrible for others.

      I do a mixture; gym, home and nature.

      There have been studies showing that exercising in nature makes you happier than home or a gym.  Also, group (2 or more) exercise tends to work best.
